Been going here for a couple of years and they always do such a great job. Compared to other places, I feel like they always clean the inside of the car very well (especially since we have dogs and there's always dog hair in the cars). However, I hope this is a one-off but our recent experience was terrible. I feel like their quality definitely went down. I paid for a basic service, and I went on a Friday and there was only 1 car ahead of my so it wasn't busy (I've seen it pretty busy here before). There were dirt spots left on my side view mirrors and trunk. Underneath the drivers seat wasn't vacuumed so there were still crumbs etc. (we have kids). They also didn't wipe down the dashboard and the middle console (it was dirty as well). The package says it comes with air freshener but the car didn't smell like anything. It could have definitely used more attention to detail and effort, but this was very disappointing since it wasn't a busy day. read more

Do NOT come here. This was one of the most upsetting experiences I've ever had. I brought my car in for cleaning and specifically told the workers not to open my trunk. Despite that, they went through it anyway and stole a pair of my shoes. I felt completely violated knowing someone had gone through my personal belongings without permission. When I brought it to the owner's attention, he was dismissive and refused to let me look around the area to find them. The way the situation was handled was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I'm frustrated and hurt by the lack of accountability and integrity. I complained about some smears that I pointed out and just stayed quiet and said NOTHING about them! I complained about some water marks he said they cant get rid of them (that they're stained- okay I get it) but what about the water running down from the trunk that they didn't wipe dry? I really wanted to like/support this place when I found them online. My visit started off great, no waiting, drove directly into the open stall to begin my hand wash & dry. I selected the full service package, specifically because it included exactly what I was in need of, the cleaning of tires & wheels and the interior windows badly needed cleaning. When I was flagged over that the car was ready to go, I jumped in and drove off, but not before leaving a $15 tip for the two employees who worked on my car. It wasn't until I got home, took a closer look and was really disappointed to see the terrible job that was done . The wheels still had dirty areas that were not cleaned and worst of all, ONLY the driver side interior of my windows were cleaned which is what I needed most! If you decide to visit this spot, INSPECT YOUR CAR BEFORE YOU DRIVE OFF!! I was so disappointed this gem turned out to be a dud. I brought my 99 bmw to this place and the lady asked me what service I want and I told her I wanted an exterior wash and a thorough interior vacuuming/dusting and cleaning and she suggested the Max Service ($85) and told me that my interior would look like new after and so I bought the Max Service. After half an hour, one of the crew said that my car is ready so I went and checked it. My door jamb wasn't clean so I asked one of the lady with the tattoo who cleaned it to please wipe it and she was giving me an attitude. Also, the carpet wasn't really vacuumed so I asked her to please vacuum it and she really has an attitude. After she did a little vacuum, she gave my keys right away and said thank you and she left. Last time I bring my vehicle to this place , all the other times I liked there was there okay for the price . I paid 200 dollars for them to return my vehicle a grease ball they showered my brand new car with some sort of tire shine horrible my outside trims got all stain because of all the oil that was apply.. I asked the owner why they used the same oil that was used on my tires on my whole vehicle he said it was for all use okay . But honestly they made my brand new car look like shit . My trims are now all damaged now yes they took it back and said they fixed it but honestly am still very unhappy my car looks horrible with all the oil stains from what they sprain and wll his y can say it's water damage but I know it's not sorry but for 200 dollars I will not go back . DO NOT waste your money at this business. The old adage of "you get what you pay for" doesn't even apply here. I paid a discounted Groupon promotional rate for a full mobile detail that ended up costing me approximately $250 with the added $45 large vehicle fee. The honest truth is that I've paid $30 for a full-service car washes that left my interior and exterior cleaner than the "full exterior/interior detail" I received at Prolago. Quite simply they should be ashamed to even use the word "detail" because they didn't pay attention to details big or small. I have pictures to back up everything I'm saying. The first incredulous thing to occur is that I dropped off my car at 8:15am and at 9:45am I received a call telling me my car was done. I was like "What, are you serious?". I was told it would take 4-5 hours but it only took 1.5 hours to give my SUV a comprehensive full exterior and interior detail. Too good to be true? Yup! If you value your car and your hard earned money the I recommend to look elsewhere. Location: This location sits at the intersection of a busy junction just off the 880 freeway and E. Gish Road which is mostly an industrial area with heavy commercial traffic and lost of dust. I've passed that way many times on the way to work and knew the location but fell for a promotion and didn't listen to my intuition. My supposedly cleaned vehicle was all covered in dust when I picked it up. Exterior: Extremely poor and not even worth the extra $45 I had to pay for large size vehicle 1. All wheels were so dirty it doesn't even look like they got washed. How do you give a car a full detail and not even get the wheels done correctly? 2. Windows had streaks and car was dusty at pick up. Front bumper and chrome grill was still dirty and covered with bugs from a recent trip. How does a car get washed, clay bar, wax and polished and still have bugs and dirt? Manager Roberto agreed it did not look clean and he and another worker begin liberally cleaning with a citrus smelling spray which ended up leaving the entire front of my car with greasy residue. 4. Door and rear hatch jams were still dirty. 5. Paint still has swirl marks and minor blemishes that should easily have come off with proper polishing (my car is only 6 years old with clear coat in excellent condition and doesn't need paint correction). My car looked no cleaner and shinier than one might expect from a drive through car wash. 6. Did my car get a proper clay bar treatment? Manager said yes, but I'm highly suspect as the paint feels no different than before. 7. Smudges, overspray, runs and drips everywhere on exterior. 8. Wax residue left on emblems, cracks between panels, etc. Areas around emblems and lettering are still dirty and not "detailed". Interior: 1. Headliner was only spot cleaned, not entirely cleaned. Now I have dirt rings throughout the entire headliner. The original color of the headliner is a light creme color and the "cleaned" areas are now a darker beige color with very noticeable dirt rings. When I pointed this out to the manager Roberto he told me the headliner was still "wet" and walked away telling me the car was finished. Three weeks later the dirt rings did not magically disappear like the coronavirus was supposed to. 2. Entire interior was slathered in Armor All like protectant - not carefully and neatly applied but carelessly and sloppily applied to everything - chrome door handles, steering wheel, shift knob, and my infotainment screen. It appears there was not even an effort to wipe it off after it was applied! See my pictures showing how all my door handles, shift knob and infotainment screen were coated with this mess. Leather seats and steering wheel left the same way making me question whether they received the proper leather treatment. 3. No fresh, clean, or scented smell of a freshly detailed car - just smelled like dirty water and Armor All. Word of caution: Don't tip before inspecting your car like I did and make sure the tips go to the workers. In my case I regret leaving any tip. Make sure the business earns their tips with professional quality work before tipping. This was a mistake on my end. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle I went into the office first without inspecting my vehicle. Displayed near the register is a large, clear plexiglass box that contained coins and money bills. I assumed it was for employee tips but there was no sign that said "tips" or "gratuity" so I asked manager Roberto (working the register) if tips go into the box or directly to workers and he instructed into the box. I left $40 before I inspected my car. Had I inspected my car first I would have left NO tip. On a follow-up visit 2 days later when I went back to address my dissatisfaction with the manger (told he was not in that day) I was told that the plexiglass box near the register is not a tip box with one worker shaking his head in a disapproving manner. read more

This is really a small business. I've driven by this place so much that I'm bound to give it a try. Sucked in by curiosity or better yet Yelp. The latter a safer reason and more research based. They have three bays total to wash your car. Three more bays for the wipe down. They're very low tech. Really hands on. As in ALL HANDS and no machine. The lady that welcomed me was the owner's daughter. She said her dad was out when I was there. Yeah I wanted to interview him for my review. Lol. The daughter was very nice. The staff hardworking. They have a very small store where they sell auto related products.You also pay there. They take credit cards and they have free Wifi. A few chairs outside where you can wait. I opted for the simple wash and vacuum. No serious request made or need for my visit. $33 for big cars. Wash and vacuum took them about half hour. read more

Surprised at the low reviews, I'm pretty thorough when it comes to keeping my cars and trucks clean over the years. I wash my own vehicles half the time and am pretty nit-picky. The team at Prolago is fantastic. It's a true hand wash, it takes a little longer than lozanos and other places like that but it's worth the extra few minutes. They are extremely thorough. I've lived all over the bay the last 15 years and haven't found a better hand wash anywhere. Love this team. The interior work they do is amazing- my 55 lb mutt goes everywhere with me in the back cab, and somehow they make it look brand new inside every time. I have 0 concerns about the honesty of the staff, I've accidentally left anything from computers to cash inside and always had everything perfectly and neatly organized at the end. We scheduled 10 AM during my work break. They did not show up at 10 AM. They started calling at 11 AM. I was alreadyAt work I cannot answer the phone. They left nine phone calls and three messages. I called at 1:10 and they said they would be at the house in 20 minutes. They came at 2:30 PM while I was still working. The detail was done by 3:30. The car is clean. Firstly, the folks there work hard. This is not a review about their attention to detail. This review is focused on the products and the amount that they use. I was happy with the cleanliness of my vehicle, however I felt like I was going to slide right out of it. The spray gun that is used to spray tire shine on your wheels is the same one they will use to coat every inch of your interior. I had to use about 7 microfibers (GMC Yukon XL) to literally re clean the entire inside of my vehicle. Again, I appreciate the attention to detail but I would've appreciated a natural finish on the inside. Would recommend asking for them to skip the dressings and just clean the vehicle. read more

Not a fan had the 750 detailed here and had line of site on the car during the wax process. The gentleman applying the wax used like a ketchup squeeze type of bottle while putting wax on a rotating buffer splattered wax all over the plastic parts of the car. I would assume he would clean it up and buff out the completed areas again bit of course not that would make too much sense. When they called me upon completion I inspected that area and sure enough here a splatter there a splatter everywhere a splatter! I asked the manager to come take a look and explained what I saw his wax man do. He said no he did not. I gave him a puzzled look and said I was watching him as it happens check his shirt he has the same splatter marks as my car. SMH the manager starts to wipe the wax off in some parts stops then I just get in my car and drive away never to be seen again. I just want a decent place to do a decent job for a paying customer. I told the first guy I wanted the $42 wash which included vacuuming, inside and out window cleaning, tires...etc. He must have not understood what I said because I was charged for a different service. So I corrected the guy at the register. He went out and told the guy. When I was called up I didn't notice the vacuum wasn't done and the windows were still dirty. I called letting them know that my car had not been vacuumed and that the windows were still dirty. The person I spoke to said he told the worker but looks like not all of them got the info. He also said he would leave a note for the next time I came in. I turned around and brought the car right back. They had 3 people working on it. Still managed to only clean half of the inside of the windshield. I didn't feel like driving back at that point. To make things worse as I drove away I noticed my key fob wasn't anywhere to be found. I pulled over and searched the back and front. In all the years I've been to a car wash the keys are left in the cup holder right in front of you. When I got out of my car I noticed my keys were sitting on the windshield wiper. They were far down enough that they weren't visible while driving. I was really hoping to like this place. I had a very bad experience here. They did the most basic car wash possible and even when the car was "completed" they let me sit in the lobby while my car sat outside and workers were paying no attention to it. The initial phone call was rude and the workers were just overall not attentive. Workers seem to favor certain people as well, possibly friends or family because they dropped all attention from my vehicle to work on literally 3 other people cars. I also paid for an interior detail and in the end they barely vacuumed the vehicle, definitely didn't wipe anything down since it was still dusty and still left wet marks from the ground outside. Overall I'd never come back here and wouldn't recommend this to anyone. It's very unprofessional, rude and realistically a waste of your money. I bought a Groupon for a full detail. I was looking forward to it since my car had never had a detailing and is a 2015 model. When picking it up, I did notice there was still some spots of gunk on my car, water spots on my mirrors, etc. I'm the type of person that cares more about the interior so I headed out. I left my car in the sun for a day to dry up as the seats and trunk were damp. When it dried up I noticed spots/stains that weren't there before. I am an organized person that takes good care of my car, so I know they weren't there before or else I would have either cleaned it myself or pointed it out to them. I tried removing them and no luck. The inside felt shiny instead of clean. I am so disappointed in this detailing, I could've cleaned it better myself for 1/4 of the price. Do not bring your car here. They use a push broom to clean your roof. If you have luxury or nice car, I wouldn't pay the $65 that I did for someone to lawn wash my car. It didn't include a waxing job. I've tried a couple of car washes and non have made the mark except a 1 of 2 shops. This is just another car wash place where Labor is just not educated to clean cars properly. I tried to get the manager to review my car but the adorable little girl working the cashier said he was out but will be back. I could not wait for an hour or so as he just left. I refused to have them try to re-clean it because the female washer did more damage than good. She obviously did not know shit about how to properly clean cars. The tree sap on my car wasn't removed. I point this out and tattoo'd chick just said "it don't come off" while scratching it with her fingers. I asked her if she even knew how to get rid of tree sap, and she did not answer. Easy shit like that gets me mad about this place. I removed it in one minute with alcohol solution. There were too many spots on the car. Being all black, all of these imperfections can be seen. Given my car was quite dirty, but nonetheless you could see which side of my car the servicer started losing care for the job, as marked by spots which I was able to remove with a paper towel. Additionally excessive polish/grease was put on and not rubbed in, leaving my car greasy to this day, about a week later. Nonetheless it is much cleaner than before I dropped it off. Nice. I dropped off my Subaru Forester SUV on Sunday at 11:55am and got it back at 12:35pm. Pretty happy with the results given what I paid for and given the services available around the area (95131, 95132, 95133). Honest service, no hassle or letdowns. Didn't have high expectations so didn't take a photo of my car beforehand, but the wife was BEGGING me to get it washed so it was in bad shape. Bird poop, dried dirt, on the outside and dust on the inside. Windows were caked with dirt. I attached the resulting photos and the device selected - "max service" - for $95. I watched them hand wash the car, hand dry the car, vacuum, apply the leather protect product - didn't have anyone climb on top of my car or do anything that worried me. Service was more personalized today (might not be if busier) as the worker walked over and brought me my key afterward (never had that done before). YMMV depending on time of day (I suppose my time isn't popular), service chosen (dropped $$ so maybe got excellent treatment?), etc but given how unreliable the service is around here, I would recommend this place. Tip: remove your belongings before you give them the car to work on. Just make life easier for everyone. read more

I was greeted promptly and was told where to park my car. I just wanted an exterior wash, which is about $11. They tried to up-sell me on the higher wash for $22, which included interior cleaning such as windows and vacuuming. The hand wash was quick and it's an okay car wash. I saw them open all the doors and get the nooks/stills cleaned, which was nice. There were two guys working on my car so it was a little faster. There's still a few spots on my car but it's from driving cross state. There was a couple spots left on my windshield that I'll have to clean myself, but then again, you get what you pay for.
