The pizza was barely edible. I had to throw away the order of fried calamari because not only did they taste weird they had a disgusting odor. I called Probto because Mimi's pizzeria was going to have me wait an hour and a half for delivery so I gave pronto a shot. Boy was I disappointed. DISGUSTING! read more

Came in for pizza with my daughter yesterday. Pizza was soggy and extremely oily. Aswell as, the pizza man making pizzas, touching his hair, smoking nicotine vaping, unprofessional. If I could put no stars I would. Here's a pizzeria I've been coming to for years. Drove from queens to come here to have some pizza, get here at 9:44 mind you and the young guy behind the counter tells me they close at 9:45 now that nobody updated the hours. I will never go there again. A shame how many restaurants have such lazy people. Nobody wants to work anymore and reflects extremely poorly on the business they represent. Hands down, BRIAN IS one the BEST manager I've ever encountered. I usually don't write Yelp reviews, but after my experience under Brian. I felt compelled to say something. If you're lucky enough to work under his leadership or even interact with him professionally, you're in for something special. From day one, he was welcoming, respectful, and incredibly driven. He made every team member feel seen and valued, which is rare nowadays. His communication is flawless always clear, kind, and solution-focused. I had a personal pepperoni pie and I was a little worried when I saw three stars on this place but it was absolutely phenomenal. The pizza sauce the crust all really flavorful. The place is really clean as well. The only thing that I would think would warrant a 3 star rating is the clientele. I have seen some of the mist interesting people while waiting for my food. They staff is friendly and polite. I would recommend this place and come back again. read more

Been going here for years but counter service is anything but Pronto. Went to pick up an order. The cashier started ringing me up for the purchase of a single pie. Then another customer, who had credit cards problems, returned. So I had to wait 5+ minutes as the other customer was allowed to try multiple credit cards, multiple attempts at cleaning their card, and other payment options. I was paying for a single pie with cash in hand and was already in line. This was on a Monday, so all the slowdown was with the counter service. Will not be returning until my time is respected and counter service is fixed. Manager in the back should pay attention and manage rather than stare blankly at the dough. Far from Pronto..... and then to top it off, I got a phone call from the manager later saying I didn't pay for the pie when I had left the money with the cashier and hadn't waited for their slow service to give me change. read more

I have been ordering from this one particular Pronto for many years. They have changed A LOT and not for the better. Thin crust pizza and artisanal breads....all ok, but not for me. I used to order a salad with grilled balsamic chicken. The last time I got a salad with a hunk of iceburg lettuce and it was a mess. I won't pay that kind of money for iceburg lettuce. I expected romaine lettuce. I'm tired of the attitude of the person who answers the phone. I suspect it's just their personality as it hasn't changed in all these years. I'm done. Life's too short to deal with unpleasant people to give them your money for stuff you didn't order. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I'm sooooo disappointed in this place because it used to be soooo good and now it's garbage. The prices went up , they took away soo many options and the quality is horrible now. They also add more money into tip if you pay by credit card so pay attention which they should be ashamed of doing !!! Got a chicken ceasar salad and was highly dissatisfied with it. First it was 12.99 -? Yea more than a chipotle salad I mean really it is. So I did a pickup and it was still not ready after I called 20min prior. I wait and it's ready along with 2 other things being made. When I open my salad I see nothing but chopped lettuce and chicken with dressing -Not even cheese on it nothing more than a handful of croutons mixed with chicken and that's all. I was vey upset I went ahead and began to have it as I was starving to only be more disappointed as how plain and stale it was I had to stop and take a photo. would you have gotten this and paid that Amount? I've been coming to Prontos for years. I always ordered from the one on forest Ave when I lived on the other side of the island. Today I came to the one on Bay Street with my daughter. She loves pepperoni. We took a walk here because it's not too far away. The young lady at the front taking the orders was very NASTY. I asked for a cup of ice and she acted as if she was doing me a favor. I asked for light sugar on my zeppoles and when I got to it was wrong. When I mentioned it she looked annoyed. My advice to management is teach customer service. Customers come back when they feel valued. Very disappointing. read more

Lapin and I came here because I have always been a fan of Pronto. This is one of their newer location so I was excited to try it. We ordered a large cheese pizza with breaded chicken with a couple of sodas. The women at the counter were rude and spent more time talking to each and playing on their phone that paying any attention to us. The pizza was fresh, hot and delicious. However, one of the employees (or owner) was having lunch with their wife and small child. They let the child run around the restaurant along with walking on the counters WITH THEIR SHOES ON. I cringed of the thought of how often they probably clean the counters because after the child left, they never did clean the counters. Also, make sure to ask for your receipt and to double check the prices. They over charged us by $6 and we noticed until we checked our bank statements. read more

I avoided this place after a scandal a couple of years ago but decided to finally give it a try today. It's pretty affordable to my surprise because of the prices in the city. The staff was friendly. The place is spacious. The food is alright. I tried the BBQ pizza, sausage rolll and Danny's pizza. The food wasn't anything extraordinary. It was all surface flavors as if the sauces didn't marinate the meat enough. I'd still give this place a try I guess. I also had two sodas. Total was about ~$16 read more

Food is good and the staff is excellent don't get me wrong but there are never menus. i attend two different pronto locations and both of them do not have any physical menus and it's been about 6 months already. the girls tell me to look online and for someone like myself, the online menus are either different options or prices or the website is difficult to navigate. this is very frustrating when it comes to wanting to order something new. please do something about this i don't wanna have to hear "they're coming next week" yet again!! read more

This is entirely my fault for ordering from a pizzeria with 5 locations in my area. I might as well have ordered from Dominos. I asked for a "well done" pie, and received this bland sauce poor excuse for a pie without it being well done. When I called back the unaffected teen answering the phone gave me an "um, well the next time you order make sure you explain that your last order wasn't well done." BRING BACK LONI!! Ever since Loni stopped managing the Bay Street location, the quality of food and service has gone in the crapper. I've had drivers deliver my food drunk! What used to be a nice, thick piece of chicken breast is now beaten so thin you can see through it. Why; in the name of profit? I've been their customer for 20 years, and it has never sucked, until Loni left the business! DAN... Counter girls wear dirty long artificial nails and then touch your pizza/food with bare hands with no gloves!!!!! I had to ask the counter Girl to please not touch my pizza with her bare hands, after I saw her stock the display case of food by hand without gloves--- and saw the man put my slice of pizza into the oven with his bare hands. Pizza is so-so. Chicken cutlet hero is the only thing I order here. Way overpriced($10.50 for chicken cutlet in vodka sauce), but there's not much else in the neighborhood. Rice Ball Parm...Under 4 lbs of sauce and over salted crap mozzarella it wasn't even identifiable Zeppoles were strips of pizza dough that were hard as a rock I could've used them as a door stop Pizza w/ extra cheese was horrible. I try to keep my pizza cravings at a once a week thing to treat my son's on Fridays, I usually order on Fridays so I don't have to cook, there pizza is good, few times I got my delivery an the cheese was all over the box, I called up an once Vito the manager sent me a fresh one an another time he gave me credit towards another pie on another day. There great staffed an all nice and friendly an there renovation is beautiful. I picked up a chicken franchise slice pronto pizza on Bay Street. As I was eating it I noticed it tasted a little "funny" almost sour or stale. I began to inspect the slice only to find that were traces of mold on the back. The worst part was parts of the back appeared to be pinched out as if someone was intentionally trying to cover up the pizza going bad. To my understanding, it takes quite sometime for dough to spoil. So shame on you guys for trying to cover it up. You not only lost my business but my whole offices too. read more

She started threatening me, arguing that she would close the bar in the middle of my event after I had paid for an open bar, and she refused to serve alcohol to the guests. She is abusive and racist. I have videos and witnesses of how she treated me; she was never kind or polite to me, and she went out to say that they had rules, but they never give you a contract or explain what you need to do. I would not recommend a Hispanic person to hold an event at this place; it was a very bad experience.

I noticed five or six tablet screens above the cash register. So this restaurant has now switched to a third-party, taking take out orders with no knowledge of what's going on in the kitchen. When I asked the cashier, he gave me a blank look, and then blamed the person taking the order for not knowing that deep dish pizzas take longer. While waiting longer in the bare bones restaurant, I saw at least three people pick up their orders. There is no one really MANAGING the restaurant. There is the dazed looking cashier who just relays the orders to the cooks you don't know how to prioritize orders. Everyone ends up, waiting longer than they should. And no one really eats in the dining area, which is essentially a waiting room All of this has affected this restaurant service this in a negative way. It will be seeing less of my business. Will be visiting Pizza Mia instead as I've never had a late order there and their food is good too.

My company (Coastal Supply Group @ 480 Bay St) orders from you guys at minimum 2-3x per week. I will say that we will NEVER order from you again. For the last time you have gotten our order wrong. When I called to explain that they got the order wrong, they want to charge me for the correct order, on top of the wrong order!!!! The audacity... The person I spoke to couldn't care about my lunch, or the fact that I was extremely let down by this. All they cared about was getting me off the phone. Thats at least $250-$300 a week in lunch we will be spending somewhere else!!!!! read more

I love nummy pizza, and this place got it. I like getting some of their salads or rolls once in a blue moon too (when I feel like changing it up). Sometimes, when I'm hungover, I come in and jam on a buffalo slice. YUM! Their staff is very helpful and friendly. All the counter girls are little cuties. Great place to order from or stroll into. Pros: Very fast service, friendly waitstaff, and a clean restaurant. Cons: Pizza is not always fresh and tastes fresh. We have been here a few times and we get served the pizza from under the counter, which is made at the beginning of the day or even the day before. We ordered two small pies, Rustica (tomato sauce, mozzarella, crumbled sausage, caramelized onion, roasted peppers and pecorino) and Ortalano (T. sauce, mozza, portobello, artichoke and spinach). They were both thin crusted, crisp undercarriage, and delicious first bite to last. At $17 and $20 for 12" pies, they better be good; and they were exactly why I drove up from Philly for the local take on Italian bites. The room was dark hued wood all around, with long bar against one wall. Service was friendly and efficient with appropriate follow up. If the apizza was that on point, I have to wonder what they do with the other traditional Italian standards. That discovery awaits another day. Five easy pizzas!
