We have been going to Proof since it opened. It is our favorite restaurant and we've never had a bad meal. The specials are always unique and delicious. The Cubano is a must try. In tri cities it's very hard to find a good veggie burger. These guys have destroyed that idea with there Beyond Burger. Please order that. Also they have an amazing drink list. Sadly I didn't take any pictures of my delicious food because I ate it all too quickly! This place has a cool local vibe. People come for the patio in the afternoon. Poutine with fried egg is delicious and totally shareable. We also had the pulled pork nachos, also delicious. Kids burger was huge. Drinks yummy but specify your liquor if you're picky. They don't use Well quality, but not much better so don't leave it to chance. Overall a must hit spot! read more

A night that started out promising took a turn for the worse as soon as we ordered our second drinks. The food was pretty good - in particular, the ahi tuna bowl. It tasted fresh and barely needed the dressing it came with. The Proof burger was okay, but very greasy. The truffle fries were tasty. Our first round of drinks were fine. My husband really liked his Kennewick Man, and my Fresh Press was fine, if a bit forgettable. Second round was a different story - my husband didn't like the Above the Boulevard as much, but my margarita was horrible. It tasted like a mix even though the menu said it was made of fresh lime juice. I told the waitress about how wonderful the tuna bowl was but also mentioned that I did not like the marg. She apologized and offered to bring me something else. Incredibly, the Huckleberry Mule I ordered was even worse. It was sickly sweet, and when she asked what I thought, I unconvincingly said it was fine. But she pressed me and said several people had sent drinks back, and they thought it was the simple syrup. She offered to bring me another. I was hesitant and asked what she thought was safe. She said the woman behind me was drinking the B-Reactor and enjoying it, so I asked the other customer how it was before I ordered one. Then the waitress said something weird - she said the bartender was going to make my third drink without any simple syrup but she thought there should be at least a little. What?? He wants to make a lemon drop-type cocktail without simple syrup? Who is this bartender, and why isn't he tasting his drinks? Did the real bartender get sick and they threw a random person back there? The third drink was probably the worst, but thankfully our waitress gave up and just brought us the check (but not before bringing me my own tiny container of simple syrup so I could add my own - sweet, but shouldn't the bartender be able to add the right amount?) To her credit, we were not charged for the three terrible drinks, and she did her best to make us happy. Proof would be a fine restaurant if the cocktails hadn't been the worst cocktails I've ever had. I sincerely hope something was atypical tonight. If so, please let me know! Since going back, they must have new kitchen staff because the menu and food has gone downhill. For a dessert they use the little frozen donut holes that you basically just heat up and can get from the store. Overall quality in food is basically the same as Red Robin across the street , but 3x the price. read more

My go to restaurant! Such a cool place for good drinks and delicious food. Not great for large groups, but they do have an outside seating which is amazing for warm weather. Recommendations if you like spicy and cheese are the Killer Mac, the honey jalapeño wings, and the honey Serrano chicken sandwich. 10/10. read more

Was nervous coming into a relatively new place with some of the reviews saying they were still trying to hit their groove, but this place was on point last night. Awesome atmosphere, beautiful views, and of course the burgers were amazing. Super soft buns, beef was juicy and thick, and the cheese really added a great flavor. And can I just say thank you for using real, thick cut bacon? :) Waited ~20 min for a table for 2, completely reasonable for a Saturday night. Enjoyed the views in the meantime, and it was worth the wait! Great service at our table, friendly and helpful, and got us out the door quick so we could catch our movie at Queensgate on time. I had heard about this place opening, and since I was at Lowe's, though I'd head over and try it. Awkward entrance and there is too much black this and that in the decor. The hostess that greeted me was friendly enough, and let me choose a table by the window. I was expecting a much bigger beer selection, with mostly local beers. Not even Ice Harbor??? Even Bob's Burger and Brew makes sure they carry local beer! Anyway, settled on a beer from SoCal () and ordered the $14.50 Mahalo Burger with fries. The server didn't even ask how I wanted it cooked! Food came within a reasonable time, and the burger was ok. With tax and tip, my burger and beer was $25. Ouch! I now have "Proof" that not only will I likely not come back, but that I can make the same thing on my bbq for a fraction of the price. read more

Went to proof today and loved it!!! Sister restaurant to Stick + Stone this place ranks top 3 restaurants in tri-cities ( along with Stick & Stone! ) Came just after 1pm and restaurant was busy! The waitstaff was buzzing around like a fine oiled machine! We were seated ( after a reasonably short wait, to be expected as restaurant is new!) and our server promptly greeted us and took our drink order. We asked for recommendations, as the drink menu is quite fabulous! We got a mule and a French press. Both VERY delicious! We put in our order and it was brought out in a perfect amount of time and looked amazing. And you know what, it tasted even better!!! There were two of us and we had the avocado burger and the chicken sandwich and shared. We were both very pleased and enjoyed the fries ( cooked perfectly, not greasy! -perhaps flash fried?) and side salad . We love supporting local restaurants. Love the new industrial chic vibe. Place is pretty busy at dinner time. Staff very friendly and attentive. Anytime I try new places, I try their most basic items first because if a chef can't master the basics the rest of the menu usually will falter as well. We started w simple chips and quacamole. The quac was good, needed a lil bit of salt but overall it was nice to have house made. Would like to see the next step and have them use locally made tortilla chips, I think it would add the extra flare for the appetizers. had the house ceasar salad w chicken and the dressing was good. Would have liked to have freshly grated parmesan on it but the chicken was cooked perfectly. moist and tender not over done and dry. Also had fish n chips, the tartar sauce has jalapeno in it but not too much just enough to give it a lil extra schuuuz. Fish was fried perfectly. Nice and crispy but overly fried. Nice. We tried the brownie dessert which was middle of the road. We were plesantly surprised by one of the staff who came immediately to talk to us about it. We appreciated it. We know they will up their game for our next visit. Although I did not indulge, .I looked over the wine list and was also pleased to see other good wines besides the normal tricities go to wine of choice chateau st michelle. Went here for appetizers, food was good. Our server was amazing. For my first visit though can't say id go back because of the hostess. This review is solely off cystomer service. We got there and it was obviously busy and we had two people. While we were there my nephew wanted to come to join us, we asked before he got there if it was ok and was told they couldn't promise they could get a seat. That was completely fine, we could see they were busy. My nephew came and our server offered to grab a chair and the hostess went into panic mode. Came to our table and kept saying we can't give you a chair. We said ok and asked for boxes to go. She came back again and very rudely said we can't fit him in, I have to many people ahead of you. At this point she was irritating and not tactful at all. We responded we didnt ask for a chair. We boxes up our food and left. For your front person who is dealing with the people to lose her cool and be so snarky over something we didnt even ask for is off putting. Good food with a presentation fee. I thought it was something different than what can be found in Tri-Cities. It had a wonderful feel to it though I'd call ahead for reservations as it was packed. I ordered Pan Seared Crab Cakes, Firecracker Salmon, and an Old Fashioned. I'd definitely recommend the salmon but thought the crab crakes were a bit over priced for getting just two. My drink was above average. My girlfriend ordered the Sangria and the Coconut Rice with Shrimp. The Sangria was an ok addition and the shrimp was pretty ok. The service was above average. read more
