I bought this as a deal through Living Social and it was definitely not a deal. For $40, I got one person for one hour and all they were able to do is clean my bathroom and mop the floors in my house (I have a tiny one bedroom apartment). That is it...totally not worth $40. Aside from that, scheduling was a TOTAL nightmare. Fatima, the owner, was totally unresponsive the first month. I'm assuming because she was overloaded. Fine, I waited a couple months. Then, she literally canceled and rescheduled my appointment three times. I had stayed home from work one day, so that really made me mad. She also never confirmed or canceled any appointments, in each case I checked in with her. So maybe they would have no showed altogether. At the end of the day I paid $40 plus $15 tip for my floors to be lightly cleaned (not nearly as thorough as I do) and my bathroom to be cleaned. Obviously, not worth it. I was hoping to find a regular service, but this is not it. Do yourself a favor and don't use them. I gave two stars because the kid that showed up to clean my place was a nice guy. Definitely only one star to the owner, she was not a pleasure to deal with. read more

I rarely have to point out a missed item and they are always willing to do an extra task (windows, cleaning out the refrigerator, etc). Had a great experience using property maid. We have a rental townhouse which needed deep cleaning on short notice between tenants. Most services didn't have the ability to work us in, but Fatima found a way and had a team of three at the door the very next morning. They got through the two story, 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 1600 Sq ft space in just under three hours. They did the usual cleaning, windows, dusting ceiling fans and blinds, scrubbing shower tile, and did an excellent job putting the shine back in the kitchen appliances. Only thing I didn't have them do was the carpets since those were being deep cleaned the next day by a different company. Overall, I called 15 services and Fatima was the one who pulled out all the stops. I'll be using her service for our own home once in a while as well, not just the rental spaces. read more

The service of Property Maids was fantastic. We had originally scheduled for 9am on Friday and at 9:45p Thursday, I had to ask for the time to be changed to after 11am. Fatima was able to accommodate this last minute request, which was great appreciated. The women came on time and really worked hard at making our house look more like a home. The house was dirtier than we had expected and the women spend 4 hours on the upstairs alone. But, they scrubbed windows, window sills, 2 bathrooms and a laundry room. The second 4 hours were spent on the downstairs bathroom, kitchen and dining room. The kitchen was a tough battle with all of the grease that was in and on everything. We truly appreciated all of the work these women did, but there was still more to do. We asked if anyone was available to come the next day to finish up the living room. OK, you want the dirt on this company? Well, there is none! That is, when they were done cleaning my house, there was no dirt to be found. Two women showed up on time, started work and never stopped until the job was done. They scrubbed, washed, polished, buffed and bleached until the entire place sparkled. Then, two hours later, they finally stopped and took a breath. They were amazing. I had what I considered to be the best cleaner in the business, until they left the business. I have tried a half dozen other companies and have been less than impressed. All right, I admit I am a bit OCD when it comes to the condition of my house. (The "C" stand for clean of course.) It is difficult to find a company that actually does what they say they will do, and more. This is such a company. Fatima knows what she is doing and clearly vets her staff well. She made a clean sweep of my place. (Sorry, I just can't help it.) Though an online deal, I paid $325 for a three person crew to work 4.5 hours. My house is about 2500 sq/ft and has 4bed/3bath. We had some recent construction work, and it made the place pretty dusty. I emailed/spoke with Fatima, and told her it was a dusty house from the remodeling, and I chose her because I wanted the "deep cleaning" as mentioned in her ad. She said we would get that and I could just tell her cleaners if something wasn't clean enough. I guess that is practical if I can stay at the house all day and watch them work, but I had to be working so couldn't stay the full 4.5 hours (the house was empty, so I wasn't worried about anything being stolen, since there was nothing in the house). At about hour 4 I came back home. By this time it was late at night, so I couldn't really see everything clearly. Thinks looked mostly clean, but hard to say for sure. One of the cleaners went around the hose with me to inspect, and if I wasn't satisfied with something, she would clean it up. I gave them a small tip and let them leave. The next morning in the sunlight I saw there were still several places that were dusty/dirty. I called to complain to Fatima. She said I should have told the cleaners about it. I said in my defense that it was so late at night by the time they finished, that I couldn't see everything. She agreed to send someone back to my house and give me a hour of free service. One person came back and cleaned the leftover dirty spots. I appreciate her giving me an extra hour, but it should have been clean in the first place. I would use them again, but this time I would make sure that I was there for most of the time so that I could oversee their work. read more

WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD ANYWHERE BEWARE!! Wow this was the worst experience I've ever had with almost any service! Here's how it started: SCHEDULING: I called a 10 days in advance to reserve the date for the maids to come. I called about 10 times and left 5 messages over the course of 5 days before I finally got an answer. The number listed on the website is the wrong number. The lady said she never got any of my calls or messages. I said I needed their services the next week on Thursday. I asked for one maid to come for 3 hours I asked for 11AM or 2PM for the maid to come. They said they couldn't guarantee a certain time but they would call me two days in advance to confirm what time That Tuesday comes around and no one called. Thursday comes around and still no call nor any maid coming to my house. Back to square 1 and I had to call 10 more times and leave 5 more messages before I got a response. Okay this time we scheduled for the following Thursday guaranteed. She'd call me on Tuesday to confirm the time again... Tuesday comes around and I get a phone call at 9AM saying "We can't do Thursday anymore! How about today (Tuesday) at Noon?" I said okay fine. Let's just get it over with since you were supposed to come last week. She says one more thing! "I can't do 1 maid for 3 hours (my original request) I need to do 2 maids for 90 minutes. Trust me it's quicker and more efficient." I disagreed. She said she'd have "one maid in one bathroom and the other maid in the other bathroom so they'd both be getting clean at the same time"I said again, okay fine. I take an extended lunch from work and leave to go home . I get home at 12PM Noon. No one shows up. 1PM comes around... Still NO MAIDS. I call and text the phone number 10 more times.... no response... 2PM comes around no response NO MAIDS STILL. Finally around 2:30PM I get a response "oh sorry I was cleaning another house and the maids who were supposed to come to your house got backed up and couldn't come." I said you have give me an exact time when they are going to come I just wasted 2.5 hours off of work she says "I cannot ever guarantee any time." I said okay then you're going to lose my business. She responds "okay they'll come at 3:30PM." I said you NEED TO GUARANTEE they will be there. And she was like "okay with guarantee let's say 4PM to be safe." 4PM comes around... NO MAIDS! WOW CLEANING: 4:20PM Finally two maids show up. They bring all of their supplies into our house by about 4:30, and the first thing the two maids say is "We can't stay for too long I have to go pick up my kids at 5:15." I was dumbfounded. The lady on the phone told me 90 minutes. I showed them the minimum work I'd like them to get done in the 90 minutes they were supposed to be here in ORDER: -Bathroom #1 -Bathroom #2 -Kitchen Floor They both go straight to the kitchen. I look at them and said no please do bathroom #1 then bathroom #2 THEN kitchen floor. Both maids move to bathroom #2 AGAIN WRONG. Then one of the maids goes back to the kitchen floor. I ask her so incredibly politely to PLEASE clean Bathroom #1...She goes back to bathroom #2 and cleans at 20 square foot bathroom with the other maid already cleaning it. That's wasting time. Especially when I was promised they'd each be in a bathroom cleaning at the same time. The 2 women chatted it up the entire time rather than working. The two women said very poor things about me and my house in Spanish. How do I know? I SPEAK SPANISH! EXPOSED! I let them continue to say poor things about me and listened in on them chatting it up rather than working. The younger maid would ask the older maid (in spanish) "should I clean this over here" and the older maid would say "no just throw some water on it, it's fine." At 5:15PM they tell me they're done.I go to the kitchen floor, and they barely cleaned it... The floor was still completely dirty with crumbs and dust. They did not do a good job at all. I point out to them that they barely clean, and proceed to watch the younger maid pour water on the ground, take our paper towels, and pat her shoes on the paper towels around the room to mop up the water... I got on a business call, and at about 10 minutes later, i get knocks on my door of them telling me they're done again. Since this call is more important than their useless services, I give them the check for the full $90 and they leave. Later I look around the house and the bathrooms and kitchen floor are still slightly dirty with dust and crumbs. I called the phone number to report the poor service, and the lady says that the maids told her I was rude. I said I wanted a refund. I paid them for 90 and they stayed only an hour and did a bad job. She agreed. NEVER GOT ANY REFUND SUMMARY: -Took 15 days for them to come -Were 4 and a half hours late -Worked for 55 rather than 90 minutes -Did a bad job -Were rude and talked poorly about me in Spanish DO NOT USE!!! read more

I called property maid the day before on the week of Christmas and Hanukkah and told them I needed to have them come and do a deep clean on my house. As a mew customer I expected they would laugh in my face assuming they would be all books up. Not only were they able to send a team the next day, but they showed up on time, worked very hard all day (I had extras like cleaning baseboards, etc) and they were incredibly through. The ladies (Angela and Alejandra) exceeded my expectations with their attention to detail. There are cheaper services out there, but I doubt there are ones as meticulous. Totally pleased! read more
