My daughter was born with torticollis to the left side, her head shape concave on the left parietal, and her left foot turn inside. We came to Dr. at she was 3 week old for an assessment before treatment and Dr. told us my girl might need to wear helmet around she reached 4 months. Under Dr.' exercise treatments at the office, her education body/muscle movement to help us understand how body work when helping my girl, and instructions for home exercise, my girl' physical health is improving so much; she doesn't need to wear helmet as we planed at the beginning, her head shape is more round, and her neck' mobility can turn flexible both side, especially left side. Dr Shikha Vaidya is my physical therapist. Few weeks ago I had developed severe lower back pain and life was miserable. When I had called Pros in Rehab, Dr Jyoti helped me get through the insurance lops and assigned to Dr Shkha who spent considerable amount of time evaluating me and informed me that it was probably caused by age related bone loss which was later confirmed in x-rays. She had developed a systematic treatment plan and gave me exercise routine to be carried out at home. Under her supervision she made sure I carry out those exercises in a correct way to be effective. After few weeks my pain has gone and life seems to be back to normal. I intend to carry out these exercises in future as my daily routine. I came in with a very bad hamstring sprain. My sprain hindered with everything from sitting to standing up, getting out of bed, getting out of car and working. I was in severe pain and discomfort due to the hamstring sprain that I had during my workout. I went to Pros in Rehab for the treatment and I received the best treatment! This review is well overdue! Jyoti has been a life saver for me and my son. PLEASE do yourself a favor and go to Jyoti if you're in pain, she will do all she can to help you out. I had a really bad ankle sprain on my ankle that left me with a lot of mobility issues and pain. I went to another PT that treated me like a number and gave me a pre-canned set of exercises. I got fed up and search on Yelp and found Jyoti. I can't say enough good things about her and the therapists that work with her. She's a GREAT therapist, very caring, spends a lot of time understanding what's going on with your situation and adapting and creating therapy for you. It took a long time to get back on my feet but I'm now healthy and pain free thanks to her. She's also such a nice person I miss spending my one hour sessions with her on Fridays :-) In addition to this my son had been having pain in his feet for a year or so, I took him to his peditrician who said he would grow out of it, i went to a specialist who took a 2 min look at him and said he had sever's disease and yes again he would grow out of it. I mention this to Jyoti and she told me to bring him to her practice, she spent so much time looking after him, teaching him techniques to walk and told me to go to a podiatrist to get a custom shoe insert, also told me to get a second opinion from a specialist who finally figured out what he had and this was not a growing out of it situation. The doctor agreed with Jyoti's diagnosis and treatment and months later my son is running happy and playing sports again, we owe this to her. read more

Just finished up about 8 sessions with Jyoti working on my knees. I have meniscal tears in both my right and left knee and was about to go for surgery when I decided to get physical therapy for an extended period of time to see if it helped. Over the past few months, Jyoti has worked on exercise after exercise to slowly strengthen my muscles around my knees. We started really slow doing exercises which I thought were too basic but they actually were an excellent starting point before moving to more strenuous exercises. There is a marked difference in my pre and post physical therapy with Jyoti and I am grateful for that. Would definitely recommend seeing her. I met with a serious accident and fractured my leg. I had to go through surgery for faster recovery. But post-surgery, it was difficult to walk like earlier and have proper balance and alignment. So far, I have worked with Jyoti and Tamoko and they are both fantastic. They are incredibly kind, caring & knowledgeable. They teach me about the mechanics of my body so that I can learn what causes my pain and how to prevent it going forward. My 2 year old daughter who has low muscle tone started physical therapy with Jyoti and jasmin when she was 13 months old . She made a great progress she learned to sit up , crawl and has started taking few independent steps now . All this happened with the constant therapy provided by the therapists. The physical therapist completely ignores all my requests the entire time. They spent almost the entire visit doings stuff that does not benefit my medical issue. The only related thing is asking about my injuries which was described in less than a minute. I got no treatment what so ever out of the visit except high amount of NEW pain. The therapist spent like first 15-20 minutes typing away on her computer entering my insurance information from the paper, despite my request to start the treatment session right away and do the paper work later. She then spent another 15 minutes asking me on questionnaires that obviously can be self answered to be not relevant to my issue, but she said she needed for insurance documentation (which I am not sure is needed unless I decided to do prolonged treatment period). She then kept pushing me to to do some strength test with my injured parts of the body. I kept refusing because it will cause my injured part to hurt even more. She persisted pushing. I gave in, and the test caused my injured parts of the body to hurt terribly, much worse than before. She later said she need the info to convince my primary care to write an extended referral for visits twice a week for many month. Well that is only my first visit and she hasn't even started any treatment or know how fast my body responds! Nor does she know we will work out! I stated many times that I don't have time, and can only visit once every few weeks. I also told her had been with a different physical therapist for many month before her, and is only seeking to tweak the current exercise program, so I don't see how it is necessary anyway. She persisted pushing for the twice a week many month treatment plan. Well that was the first and last visit I had at the office. She didn't do any treatment for me during the visit, nor did she gave me any home exercises to improve on my own time. I went away with a lot more pain than before, and felt I was treated like a cash cow. I found a different PT office that assess the injury with no pain to me, made a huge improvement on my condition on the first visit, and proactively stated I only need to visit once every few weeks without me requesting for it. I would stay away for this office. I also can't help speculate on how they "managed" to not have a single bad review with this type of behavior. read more

I took my infant son to Jyoti for pediatric physical therapy for about 8 months. She was very professional and skilled at working with a baby. My son got great care with her even after COVID-19 forced us to do his sessions through Telehealth. Once she started reopening her clinic she was very thorough in her cleaning and making us feel safe to be there. She was also very knowledgeable about proper child development and gave us many exercises to do at home to help him work on gaining new skills. I also appreciated that she was in network with insurance which is extremely hard to find for pediatric therapy in the San Jose area. I took my daughter here she had a slight head tilt. Jyoti is very knowledgeable. She will explain you what is going on technically so you understand. Jasmin, is wonderful. After coming here with chronic pelvic pain and being treated externally for a little over a year I was able to start internal PT with ease. Jasmin was my PT here and she helped my pain so much so I was finally able to go to school and work which I was not able to do before. Though I'm not sure of she still works there Jyoti is just as qualified as Jasmin with pelvic pain and I'm sure she can get you to a place where internal PT is not as painful. I have been in upper neck and back pain ever since surgery 14 yrs. ago. I have been to a lot of therapists but Jyoti is the best yet.
