Mason is the man! Had us taken care of from the start. My son lost a wheel and gave me a call. Police recommend LW's Towing. Mason showed up shortly afterwards and had up hooked up and ready to go in no time at all. Mason was friendly and professional the entire time.

Never reported the tow to local law enforcement as required by law

This company doesn't care about following TDLR regulations. Unethical business practices and rude ownership. If you get towed by them and receive a notification letter examine it very closely. They tried to charge me for fees not allowed by the TDLR. Look at all the fees they charged and see if they are on the TDLR list of regulated fees. Step #1 search for 85.703. Responsibilities of Licensee--Notice to Vehicle Owner or Lienholder (1) All mailed notifications shall state: Step #2 Compare the requirements to your notice. Mine had 9 violations including: Expired TDLR #0561887VSF - they were too cheap to print out new ones with their current TDLR #'s 0655227VSF (Frisco) & 0655228VSF (Celina), failed to state the name of the tow truck driver as required by 85.703(E) , did not use the proper wording required by Texas Statute 85.703(B) (search it to see if yours is properly worded), the full licensed company name (LCLTJ INC) was not on the notice (LW's Towing was used instead (violation of 85703(A)), Time of arrival at VSF / time of tow are the same, No first date storage fees were assessed, No date for a scheduled transfer to their Celina Yard and no address for the Celina Yard. Step #3 request information from the police department with jurisdiction from where the vehicle was towed. They are required to report all non consent tows within 2 hours of towing the vehicle. This information can be requested on the city website under the Freedom of Information Act. LW's never reported the vehicle as towed as required by law and they are currently under investigation for this and other violations. If they were to report the vehicle they would not get to keep all of the money from the auction. Step #4 look closely at the towing sign from the location your vehicle was towed. If the sign says Operators instead of Operator's as it did where my vehicle was towed then it does not comply with the requirements set forth by the TDLR. Step #5 If you find any irregularities / violations of Texas statutes call LW's via speaker phone and record the conversation (This is legal in Texas if you are calling from Texas). Confront them about the violations and request them to release your vehicle without stipulation or charge immediately. Step #6 follow the instructions for SEC. 32.49 REFUSAL TO EXECUTE RELEASE OF FRAUDULENT LIEN OR CLAIM and request LW's to release your vehicle under the premise the lien they are claiming is fraudulent. While this process alone may not get a judge to enforce the statute and find them guilty of a felony what will happen is this. The minute they try to sell the vehicle at auction they will be committing a third degree felony when they fill out the required for VTR-265-VSF that clearly states at the bottom of page 1 that, under penalty of law 3rd degree felony, the VSF MUST HAVE: - Informed you as required by statute - Complied with all provisions of §2303 Texas Occupations Code If you can prove you informed them that they did not adhere to EVERY requirement listed by the statutes and TDLR codes ONE MISTAKE IS ALL IT TAKES and they fill out this form and sell your vehicle then it is time to get an attorney. Not only will they be in violation of the Texas Penal Code and facing a prison term but you will be entitled to sue them for asserting a fraudulent lien, one which you filed a request to release and can prove you informed them of why the lien is fraudulent via your recorded phone call, and get SUBSTANTIAL damages. (see CIVIL PRACTICE AND REMEDIES CODE TITLE 2. TRIAL, JUDGMENT, AND APPEAL SUBTITLE A. GENERAL PROVISIONS CHAPTER 12. LIABILITY RELATED TO A FRAUDULENT COURT RECORD OR A FRAUDULENT LIEN OR CLAIM FILED AGAINST REAL OR PERSONAL PROPERTY) Junior Texas Hammer connect the dots packet: §2303 Texas Occupations Code / §85.721 / §2308.205 / Article 18.23, Code of Criminal Procedure / §2308 / §32.49 / Property code Chapter 59 (if self storage related) / Freedom Of Information Act / https://www.tdlr.texas.gov/tools_search / www.tdlr.texas.gov/Complaints I AM NOT AN ATTORNEY. CONSULT AN ATTORNEY BEFORE TAKING LEGAL ADDVICE FROM SOMEONE WHO IS NOT ONE. I.E. ME. If you think these are good honest people then please look at the reports made by LW's to the TDLR when faced with only a small portion of their actual violations. They falsely claimed I was manufacturing methamphetamines and that they feared for their personal safety as well as the safety of their business. I am a Grandfather, Business Owner and have no violent criminal record whatsoever. Not even a disorderly conduct and they fear for their safety? Why? My one and only arrest came in 1997 for failure to display a valid drivers license. I was released after booking / never sat in a cell. Look at the light in which these people attempted to paint me (see photos) This is disgusting behavior and I informed the prosecutor. Very easy to verify. I will be shocked if they retain their license! DISGUSTING!

Very classy and professional tow truck company. Beautiful, colorful, clean tow trucks is a breath of fresh air to see in comparison to dumpy looking trucks. Seeing one of these top of the line trucks come to handle my vehicle I know I'm in good hands. They're here to help get your vehicle out of an accident, move unwanted cars off your lot and offer a helping hand to those in need.

No one likes to call a towing service... it's usually not a good sign. LW Towing was quick to respond and showed up less than 20 minutes. Tow truck had a huge flatbed, capable of towing an elephant. The driver was dressed in a jumpsuit with fluorescent striping for safety. He was friendly, professional, and offered to try to jump start the car first in an attempt to keep from towing and paying the towing fee. Needless to say I was impressed with the professionalism of the driver and the quick response. Cost was $95 plus $3/mile and a 3% credit card fee. Recommend LW Towing if you are in the North Dallas suburbs.

Dealer trade in offers were around $16,000 up to $17,000. Blue Book trade in value was around $16,500 to $18,000. Blue Book Private Party price is around $19,000 - $20,000. We provided our own car loan company that was indepandant from the car dealer and the agent suggested trying givemethevin.com I wasn't too excited about the hastle of selling the car private party. So I called givemethevin.com on Monday 3/9/26 and had a nice conversation with Jennifer. She asked for information about the car and some photos of my car. After hanging up I was able to send her the information and within an hour of our first conversation she called me right back with an excellent offer and asked if I was interested. I was very happy and excited about the offer. Then she asked for some other sepcific pictures of the car and documents. Jennifer and I talked again on 3/10/26 she made an offer of $19,750, oh yeah! Selling it private party I was going to ask $20,000 and if it got desperate I would have gone down to $18,000. So $19,750 was way above my expectations. Finalizing the documentating was completed the same day with a plesant lady named Monica. I was given instructions on completing the documentation and on where to deliver the car (40 miles away) and made an appointment for delivery on 3/11/26. When I arrived there the man who did the intake inspection was nice to work with and he already had the $19,750 check in hand. That took around 20 minutes then they paid for an Uber Chevy Suburban to drive me home. Three pain free days and $19,750 from start to finish was an outstanding experiance and givemethevin.com is a very honest and classy operation. I recommend them to anyone. I wish that I had more cars to sell.

Preferring to buy locally, I visited Toyota of Plano to see if you could match the offer. Instead of a professional discussion, I was met with shocking hostility from one of your managers (a tall gentleman of Middle Eastern descent). He directly attacked my integrity, stating, "I've seen this trick many times; people bring fake quotes from Richardson or Prosper to deceive us." He further alleged, without any evidence, that the other dealer would add a markup of over $6,000. While I respect a dealership's right to decline a price match, I find it unacceptable to be accused of dishonesty. This lack of professional ethics is not only a personal insult but a significant blow to the Toyota brand image. As a direct result of this experience, I returned to Longo Toyota of Prosper the following day and purchased the vehicle there. The contrast in service was stark; they treated me with respect, and my wife is thrilled with our new car. I will be sharing this experience with my community to ensure other buyers know to take their business to dealerships that actually value their customers.

If you are unfortunate enough to own this car and experience this issue you know that there is no easy fix. When I arrived I pulled up, handed the tech the keys, and walked inside to check in. Lawrence was so nice and helpful, let me know a time frame, and explained where the restrooms and snacks were located. He also let me know there was a recall that they would also take care of while they had my car back there. After about 3 hours Lawrence called me up and informed me that they were not able to get the sunroof closed and the cost of getting it fixed is almost $11,000. Having just moved 1000 miles from home, looking for a job, and have now loss my reliable transportation I broke down right at his desk. Lawrence proceeded to go talk to other managers to see how he could help me. He mentioned that they could take the headliner down and MAYBE be able to get it closed that way. I had to take the risk. About 4 hours later he comes out to the lobby with a technician named Tristan. Poor Tristan had been fighting with my sunroof all day, but was determined to help me and continued to try everything he could possibly think of. Eventually all his hard work payed off and he was able to get closed and even washed my car for me. These two men may have just been doing their job to other people, but they really did change my life. They offered support, determination, and the willingness to go above and beyond for a customer. Having just moved to Texas this was my first experience with this location and I now will continue to have my car serviced here. P.S. Let this be a reminder to NOT get a Toyota Camry with a panoramic moonroof!!
