Watching people drink beer from a glass boot is priceless. The pretzel is to die for as the mustards and rolled cheese are so good. Our server was everywhere much like a superhero and was able to cater to our every need.

With a couple of hours to kill in downtown Boise a nice beer sounded good. The selection of German draft beers was inviting too so I checked it out. I ordered a liter of Schneider Weiße Helles and a Currywurst. Not a typical combo in Germany - beer from Bavaria and fast food from Berlin but it worked. The beer was good and fresh. The Currywurst could have been a little hotter but it was still good. The service was great too. A nice place to hang out!

We stopped in for a drink and dinner (we didn't look at the menu prior so that was our fault) we didn't realize until we sat down it's not really a restaurant and just more of a bar with German bar food. Which is great don't get me wrong. Just wasn't what we were looking for. We have been to Germany quite a few times. We ordered a traditional German drink. Bitburger and sprite. And the server looked at us like we were nuts and kept questioning us. Overall the server wasn't very friendly or attentive. We had to get up to get him a few times. Anyhow the beer was great, the food looked great, just not the best service or knowledge of German Beer drinks for a German pub. If we come back into town, we will most likely be back because we do really just love German beer haha. Anyways check it out if you're the same!

Pro-tip: The restaurant is really small and the tables are first come first serve so it's all a waiting game. It's very niche so you really should be here for the beer, the German vibe, or German food. If you're not crazy about even one of these three things, probably not the right place for you. Highlights: It's a fun environment and very strong on the German theme. I'm not really into German food, so it was just ok in my book. Lowlights: They don't have boots anymore because of COVID. It took forever for the servers to come to us even when we were trying to waive them down to put in our orders/ask for the check/etc.

If you love German beer then you will love Prost! Excellent service & great appetizers. I will definitely be back. Saw a table get a boot full of beer so if you're wanting a lot of beer this is a great idea to try.

This place has many varieties of German beers. I had the Weihenstephaner Dunkel Weisse. I only wish they had schnitzel. I've been here several times and the food doesn't disappoint, what with the tiny kitchen area. I had the pastrami and havarti sandwich on rye. A decent amount of meat, topped with sauerkraut, onions, aioli and really good mustard on some bitchin' rye bread. The German warm potato salad was a great side. Pretty dang good food, and I lived in Germany for many years.

Outdoor and indoor seating, nice lunch menu. Fast and friendly service. Misters and bench tables. Great prices.

Downtown Boise. Indoor, outdoor and bar seating. We came around midnight on a Friday/Saturday and the place was still poppin. Decent beer and wine selection. I can't comment on the food. I had to go with a liter of beer once I saw those were offered. Huge mugs! Enjoyed my Pilsner. Two of those total for my friend and I put me back around $25 after tax and tip as of May 2021. Not a bad deal, considering the amount of beer and quality of it!

If you're in the mood for a sausage and pretzel this is the spot. Seating can be hard to find if you come during a busy game or before a hockey game but otherwise it's totally fine. Love their pretzel and the brat

Amazing German beer! The best in Boise some would say. Spencer is an amazing bartender :) The wedding style soup (if available) is top tier.

I got the robot samurai, and it was good enough to get twice I was pretty happy with it. For food there was the Bao Buns and these were pretty great! Buddy ordered chicken and accidentally got served the pork belly but he was glad he got to try the two because he said the pork was the better taste of the two. They did still bring him the chicken ones. I ended up getting the Korean bbq wings and buddy got dry rub. Both wings were really good! No complaints there. Will be back to bring my family.

The patio is lovely and there was both inside and outside seating.

If the weather is cooperating, sit outside. The beer selection is impressive, with a great range of lagers and ales. We had our eye on one particular light, crisp option, but they were out for the night. Our server pointed us toward something comparable... I believe it was called Teddy Bearnd...it worked. Now, the food. My friend went for one of their signature burgers, which was seasoned simply so the beef really gets to shine. The only hiccup was that they were out of tomatoes, which is a non-negotiable topping for her, so keep that in mind if tomatoes are a must. I went a different route and ordered the beef focaccia. Uniquely layered ribeye and really good. We also shared a Greek salad that was simple but fresh and satisfying. And the french fries with their homemade ketchup? Don't skip em. Service was smooth and friendly from start to finish. No complaints.
