We ordered the Bruschetta to start and were no crazy about it. It was not traditional and instead came like you were supposed to scoop it on the baguettes, but it was bland. They open at noon on Sunday. They used to open earlier and offer brunch/breakfast pizzas but that is no longer the case. We stopped by for said pizzas but didn't realize we were looking at outdated menus. I have provided more recent menus on Yelp so hopefully no one else makes the same mistake. We tried the euphoria pizza, basically a margherita pizza. The crust was nice, not too thin. We took it home, added a few sunny side eggs, and voila, breakfast pizza! I didn't get the chance to take a picture of the food, but I ordered a (huge) delicious butter lettuce salad with dried cherries, bacon bits, peaches and a passion fruit dressing which was tangy and bright. I am gluten free and can't eat dairy so U stop here every time I am in Boise because they have the best gluten free crust I've ever had. Unfortunately they were out of the non-dairy cheese this trip but I still ordered the pizza because the crust is that good! In the end I barely noticed the cheese was missing. The pepperoni and mushrooms were laid on thick and that crust didn't disappoint. The service was fast and helpful (they put cheese in my salad at first and the server immediately knew it wasn't right and brought me a new one) and the dining room was calm and and enjoyable place to be as a solo diner. Kind of a bummer. Highly recommended and we went there. We did have our service dog in training - which legally by Idaho law is allowed to be on premises and training inside a facility. An employee said "we cannot have you training inside here due to the other patrons" - we are indeed allowed to be there. He said we must have them only on leash - which he had his leash on. Anyways - we left. The pizza was phenomenal but not adhering to Idaho state law Was a bit frustrating. The other employee said we were perfectly Within the law and apologized. This quaint local pizza place is situated in the North End of Boise where there are many other small businesses and restaurants. We loved the local photography on the walls. We've had take out pizza here a couple of times before and it was delicious. We don't live anywhere near here, but we were in the area and thought we would try dine-in. What a great decision. We had a Greek salad, pizza and a couple of drafts and it was fabulous. We got the "small" salad and it was more than the two of us could eat. The pizza was prepared and cooked to perfection. Hyde Perk Pizza half John's Green and Gold sub red sauce and no cilantro. Omg both were amazing but HP was out of this world. They nail it with the bacon Gorgonzola combo. The crust of the pizza is perfection. Not too thin or thick, great texture. We unknowingly went during happy hour and they have some pretty sweet deals. We opted for the $6 Cesar. This place is a Bop. (which if you've read my other reviews, that's like the highest level of praise comment.) The crew is casual & cool. Makes you feel super welcomed and comfortable. We sat at the bar which sometimes I am ehhhhh about. But for this place it totally worked for me! The bar TV had NCAA Hoops on, and Adam was the perfect bar guy/server for us. Since this was our first time, we kicked it with Rainiers, and ordered THREE things off the menu! haha! 1) Antipasta Platter...UMMMM FIVE STARS! A perfect serving of pickled asparagus, burrata, grapes, bread bites, (other cheeses I forgot) jam, and an amazing mustard. 100% will order it every time I'm here. 2) The Pizza Rolls...These to me were "okay." First of all, I definitely recommend. The food was amazing (house salad, greek salad, tried almost all pizzas). The seating was weird at first for our big party- but they cooperated and made it work. THE ONLY REASON THIS RESTAURANT GOT 4/5 STARS is because they forgot one of our pizza orders. We waited 20 minutes for this pizza to begin eating so that everyone had their food. It never came. We asked about it and started eating because "it was on the way". It took another 15 mins for it to come out. HOWEVER, i still recommend. They gave us the pizza and canceled the charge for it. Always a super huge fan. Since we moved to Boise about a year ago I think I've eaten here about a hundred times. & when we left back to Oregon for a few months I found NOTHING that compares. I am a big fan of sports and so is my partner. He is a HUGE Washington State University Cougars fan. Since I am a recent alumni, I heard about the local watch party at North End Pizza and we went there to watch the first half. Good thing we got there a half hour early! The place was PACKED! Coug fans were everywhere taking over the entire restaurant! We ordered a salami, prosciutto, and pineapple pizza and I also ordered a small caesar salad. The pizza was A-Mazing! The sauce was wonderful, the cheese perfect, and the toppings were excellent! I was impressed with the topping selection and happy that there was salami and prosciutto! Those are two of my favorites. They are especially perfect on pizza. And the pineapple is the "cherry" on top. It just makes everything better. (And my partner just couldn't have a pizza without it!) The caesar was delicious. The croutons were the shining star of the dish. They were so tasty. They were wonderfully crispy and the seasoning was on point. I would just eat those croutons plain like potato chips--they were that good! I would definitely return. The WSU Alumni in Boise picked a wonderful spot! Accessibility: This restaurant is accessible. There aren't stairs to contend with. The aisles are wide and there aren't many tight quarters. The bathrooms are gendered but accessible and large. The only concern is the seating. A lot of the seating in the restaurant is high table and chairs or booths. However, the front section has regular tables and chairs. That section, though, has tighter quarters. While I was there, the restaurant was LOUD. However, this was during a game day party and not during normal business. read more

I'm going to be a minority here, as the place was packed and has great reviews on a Yelp, but I don't get the hype. I've been here before for pizza, and the few I could try as a vegetarian were full of toppings and fresh out of the oven. It was a pleasant experience and it caused me to list this place as an awesome date night suggestion to friends ever since. Since that visit though, I've had three sub-par experiences so I figured I'd finally write my review. This place has a 'please wait to be seated' policy which is great, but often it can take anywhere from 5-15 minutes (depending on how crowded it is) to be acknowledged even when you're the only one waiting for a table. It doesn't start the experience on a high note, and if possible, I'd highly suggest they train their staff to engage with customers and let them know they'll be over in a moment. Last trip it took a little over 10 minutes before someone asked how many people were in our party and it took relatively the same amount tonight. When it comes to cleaning between guests, it's not always up to par. They always wipe the tables between guests, but last time there was spilled marinara on the seat which I got on my pants sliding across the booth and didn't realize until after it happened. Tonight there were a handful of napkins and a knife still by our feet when we were told 'that booth over there' was available. Service can be extremely slow here. Tonight, they had one lady in charge of a significant section and this has happened in the past as well. I'm not sure if they're constantly understaffed or if they expect their team to handle large quantities of orders solo, but it took an additional 10+ minutes before she was able to come to us for the first time and say she'd be with us soon. She was really well composed, but she had a LOT to manage and it took us awhile to ask a menu question because of it. The food truly isn't anything special. It kills me to say that because pizza should be pizza anywhere, but it isn't. The crust isn't light and fluffy for pizza or calzones, and it tastes similar to less-flavorful Pie Hole. If it was a cheap pizza like Pie Hole, then awesome. But if you're spending upwards of $30 for a single pizza, it better be organic, locally sourced, and delicious AF. Ours have been forgettable with a thick, over-kneaded (in our opinion) crust. Tonight, my calzone wasn't even hot, and I was served room-temperature marinara and water. My partners pizza was also lack-luster and our salad never came out. I love that a local business is thriving, but this place just has a long ways to go in my opinion to create the atmosphere, experience and taste that other local establishments do for a fraction of the cost. I'm rooting for them, but I'm a little bummed I have yet to have an awesome experience here like others have had. read more

I'd heard mixed reviews of North End Pizza, mostly about the pizza so I wasn't sure what to expect when I decided to pop in while walking around Hyde Park. I'm sure glad I did. The pizza here is very good, but you'd expect that from a pizza place, what really was unexpected and stood out were the cocktails. They were exceptional. I would never have expected to find such well made cocktails at a pizza restaurant. The pizza selections are fabulous and of course,​ you can design your own. Generally,​ I prefer a thin, crisp crust but this was a nice, medium thickness that was just the right amount of chewy and crisp. Service was friendly and even though they were very busy when I was there, very present and thoughtful. North End Pizza would be a place I'd frequent if I lived in the North End or downtown and it is a place I'll be back to regularly no matter. We parked on 13th street and walked up and down the two sides looking at all of the places to eat before making our decision. We didn't intend to eat here, we just knew that we wanted something downtown but not the hustle and bustle of the city center, so we decided on Boise's north end. In the Northend, you'll find old-style residential homes and a block of fun places to eat and drink, a nostalgic candy shop, a toy store and much more. The restaurant has a modern look, which drew us to it. We crossed the street and into the Pizza place we go. This place is much more than pizza! They had many televisions playing football and pleanty of seating. There is a large bar in the middle. Seat yourself and the menus are already on the table so you don't have to wait. Our server brought us water, with no ice, and asked us if we wanted anything else to drink. We did get ice when we got a refill. We ordered-- the menu has appetizers (photo attached), sandwiches, pizza, and a few more items, but not a whole lot more. Looking at other tables the pizza appears to be a hit. I ordered the turkey meatball appetizer.Three very large meatballs in a well-balanced marinara sauce topped with a (small) piece of mozzarella cheese. The meatballs were very flavorful and spiced with herbs and had a good flavor. I only ate one and took the other home where they were just as good the next day. My only complaint is that I would have liked more cheese. My dining companion got the meatball sub with chips. He was a fan of the sub but not the chips. They tasted hard to him and they made his teeth feel as if they were going to break because they were hard. I didn't try them, so I will take his word on it. The meatballs, also turkey, were just as good as the large meatball appetizer only smaller in size. The prices were fair as the meal for two was under $20. Friendly people. read more

The pizza here is clutch. When friends and family are in town and they are craving pizza, I have brought them here. This is definitely on the higher price point for pizza but you get what you pay for and the ingredients are of quality, especially that goat cheese. The Certified, Hyde House, Hyde and Seek, Goodies, and Sun Ray have been some of the best pizza I have had in years. Ask for some hot sauce or ranch and you will be golden! (Get a salad if you want to be healthier. The Cobb and the House were delicious but pizza is always better.) They are large tables for many or the bar for the solos (often me.) Service is not bad but at times we have had to wait longer than normal with empty water glasses, the check, or to-go boxes. With that said, I notice that usually one person is running the floor so I am more patient knowing that pour soul working the floor is busy as a bee. Plan to wait to eat here if you pick the meal hours. Coming here outside of the normal dinner hour (a bit earlier than 6/7 or a bit after 8, your wait will be much shorter if any. Your drink is never empty, they always stop by your table asking if you need anything or how is it. They do a great job training their servers. The pizza- the smallest size 12", is usually more than I can eat so plan a 16" and a half and half option. It's plenty for two! I love the euphoria with the fresh basil, tomatoes, and mozzarella. My hubby like the Hyde Perk with bbq chicken, bacon, feta. We don't usually get an app, but if we do it's a salad to share. I enjoy the cider on tap if I get an adult beverage. Wow! I'm usually pretty "meh" with pizza but while visiting my daughter we gave NE a try. The menu was varied, lots of great sounding combinations, I almost strayed from my usual. (Hawaiian, yes with PINEAPPLE) They have a $25 deal with a bottle of wine and a medium pizza, and the wine was pretty good! We ordered a Hawaiian, Goodies and a Sun Ray all were really, really good.
