100% Recommend this place. I spent days searching for an honest body shop that was willing to work with the extensive damage done to my car. Many places didn't feel right and turned me down. A friend recommended this place and as soon as I walked in they took the time to hear my concerns and explained in detail despite being so busy. My Mini Cooper S had a busted front lip from a minor accident which ended up causing more extensive damage than my insurance (Geico) estimated, resulting in a full replacement of the hood and most of the front end. When I met with Nour from Pro-tech they went over the handling process with me and kindly answered my questions as I explained that this is the most extensive repairs I've ever needed done on a vehicle and was not familiar with what to expect. Day 1 and throughout the several days my car was there I was updated with a detailed final estimate, provided resources on how to stay in touch, and was generally made to feel valued and informed. When it came time for pick up, the shop had my car pulled up for me and I was walked through what all had been done. As other reviewers have mentioned, the paint match is perfect, and everything looks better than new. When asking about my hood I was informed that the custom stripes would need to be painted 1 week after that day to allow time for the main color to properly dry, and promptly scheduled for it the following week. They even polished my headlights and cleaned my interior without my asking - and that's just to name a few of the favors they did me! When it came time to pay I explained my ignorance of the process by which the insurance paid them vs my costs and was given perhaps the most thorough, kind explanation of the deductible/estimate system I could have asked for. They mentioned how they worked with several major insurers to validate their parts lists, labor, paint, etc. and handle the payment without needing to bother me. I paid a fraction of the total costs and legitimately walked out smiling. Ultimately, this business turned a financial and logistical nightmare of mine, into an afterthought and desire to support them again should the need ever arise. Recently, my car was rear-ended. I was looking for shops to take the car to be fixed. After doing some research I decided on ProTech. 12/10 glad I did, the reviews did not disappoint nor mislead. This business has earned every amazing review they receive. To begin with, Ms. Noor was very helpful over the phone. Upon arrival, she inspected the car very efficiently and explained very clearly what the next steps would be should I chose to proceed. We decided on a day for car drop off; the process was smooth and easy. She explained what would be fixed, the estimate, and the time window in which it would be ready for pick up. For pick up, the car was great! It was reviewed what had been done to the car as part of the repair. Extra points: they really cleaned the back matt of the car (it was a bit muddy, yet WOW on the thoughtful detail) on top of washing and polishing the exterior. I had to get some repairs done after a minor accident and really had no idea where to start because I had never gotten into an accident before (shocking, considering I live in Austin where people like to drive with their eyes closed lol) I got my car back in BETTER shape than it was before I had the fender bender. The process was relatively painless and the staff here made it super simple for me. They called the rental car company, they returned my rental for me, they even helped me to move all my stuff over from rental back to my car. How courteous! I wasn't paying for any of this work, the insurance company of the person who hit me was fronting the bill, but ProTech didn't bother wasting my time by keeping my car longer while they got addtl funds from them- they replaced a cracked piece of my bumper free of charge just as a curtesy. The ONLY thing (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5)-- they did have my vehicle for a week, which was expected, but I didn't receive a call or any updates from them letting me know how long it would be, or an estimated time my car would be ready. I had to call and ask, and I happened to call the day they finished up my car so that was convenient. Overall though, I HIGHLY recommend taking your car here if you need to (hopefully ya don't, but if you do), know your vehicle will be in great hands. read more

I wanted to get a factory bodykit added to my Volvo and was shopping around. I haven't needed a body shop in the better part of ten years since my Honda had received some severe hail damage and it occurred to me to call Marwan at Protech as he had done the work on my Accord through my insurance company with phenomenal results. When I called, he answered the phone, not some secretary unfamiliar with cars in general, and told me to bring it over for an estimate and so I did. We discussed what it was that I was looking for from the job (along with an aftermarket roof spoiler) and how he would be doing doing it. I assumed that it would be what the kit seemed to imply with it's adhesive strips and handful of plastic rivets and he made it clear that wasn't how he did work and the kit would have to be glued and additionally secured, pointing out the factory process was a precarious attachment method, at best. Although I wan't expecting it, he let me know he would be pulling all of the faded/weathered trim off the car (it's a 14 yr old car, the trim looked terribad), paint it all to match, do a full repaint of both bumper covers (not just paint the kit and stick it), including the additional trim there as well, and did a terrific job of attaching the roof spoiler. The time frame given was adhered to, there were no surprises, no sneaky additional charges (the price paid was the estimate, to the penny), and the car looks ten years younger. This place isn't some national faceless corporation, it is Marwan's shop, his company, and he clearly has a level of pride in workmanship not found elsewhere. Lastly, it is worth noting, that the price I paid was reasonable, but still lower than most other estimates. The results were outstanding. Good business is where you find it. I have a Land rover Evoque, and I hit a fence backing up, broke my rear bumper and got a big dent on my trunk. I went shopping around to get estimates for repairs, and wanted to pick the best estimate. After visiting a couple of body shops, I decided to go with ProTech body shop for the following reasons: They gave me a detailed quote and took the time to explain to me what can be or should be replaced vs what should be repaired. They offered to replace the rear bumper, since the cost would be less than repairing it and explained to me why its better to replace the trunk. They had the best labor rate from all other 3 estimates I got, and their parts price were comparable to anything I could find online. Now it happened that I dropped my car for repair on Thursday before Harvey storm hit Texas. So a delay was to be expected, and even though the car was supposed to be done in 5 days, it took to the following Monday for me to pick it up, but Marwan the owner made sure to call me every a couple of days and update me on the status. He informed me that the parts they ordered from Houston were delayed and that they were waiting on them, and gave me an ETA to the best he could. I had my Fender flare on the right side that had fallen off due to broken clips, he offered to reinstall it for me free of charge. They offered me a lifetime warranty on everything they did, parts and labor. I am so happy I found a good shop close by me, with honest people there, that care about their customers and try their best to keep them happy, that I decided to write a review for them even though I rarely do. Great customer service! I had extensive hail damage and brought my car in for a quote. They did not press me when I said I was going to get a few other quotes. I ultimately decided to go with ProTech for the repairs because they were able to get me in the next week while other repair shops were booked out for months. The receptionists were always very welcoming and polite and answered all of my questions. They called the rental car company when I was on my way to the shop so I wouldn't have to wait for the rental car. I received multiple calls with updates to my car while it was in the shop. They even washed my car and waived my insurance deductible! I thought one of my seat levers was a little messed up, so Marwan brought out a screwdriver and addressed it. Went to visit in the middle of the work and I was not satisfied with the paint before they sprayed the clear coat. They did a little better with sanding and repainting.
