I had my nails done by Lisa yesterday evening and they turned out amazing!! I always show a picture of what I want for their reference, but it usually ends up coming out a bit different. But Lisa did such a good job I like them better than the photo. She was so precise and she (as well as other staff) stayed well past closing to finish my nails. At 30 mins past closing Lisa did not once make it feel rushed, or compromise on the quality of her work. She went above and beyond to make sure each nail was perfect (i.e. adding extra coats to achieve the right color, re-filing certain parts to make all of the nails uniform). She paid so much attention to detail which really matters when it comes to what the end product will look like. And I so, sooo appreciate the fact that they stayed late, I'm sure they had already had a long day and were eager to get home to their families and/or personal lives. I've been to Pro-Top probably 5-6 times now and and will be back plenty more in future. read more

Still amazing. After spending a week moving a family member from Arizona for Sacramento area I needed a relax day. I made an appointment for myself and my mother this time. She got a gel mani and regular pedi. I got my acrylics filled and a reg. pedi. Once again Sang was perfext with me and did my nails amazing. I got them a little on the short side and he was great at accommodating my requirements. Being a Saturday it was CRAZY busy and they still got us done and taken care of in great time. I've been going to ProTop Nail for almost a year and have had nothing but great service. Billy does my Gel Manicure and my pedicures and it always looks great.. I have never had a problem with the Polish or the design falling off.. They are also very accommodating with their appointments.. I moved to a new location and was very nervous to find a new technician. I looked online at some reviews and decided to call ProTop nails. I called late at night thinking I would leave a message hoping I could get in the next day on Saturday. To my surprise, The owner answered the phone and made me an appointment with Lilly at 10:00 but told me if I wanted to wait for billy I could come in at noon. I told him I was fine coming in at 10 because there was some great reviews about Lilly too! When I got there Billy showed up two hours early to do my nails!!!! Talk about customer service. They knew I was nervous and wanted me to have the best experience possible and Billy IS the BEST!!! I am so happy with my nails and now back after three weeks ready for my fill! This was my first visit to ProTop Nails & my first review on YELP. I felt a strong urgency to make people aware of an unclean pedicure location. I found it through yelp because of its high ratings... I really don't know why?? I waited ten minutes which was quick! I initially was quoted 20 mins. I was optimistic at first. Every seat and nail table was booked. Busy usually means it's going to be good! an older man in a white coat pointed to my seat. I looked down & into the water were floating particles. Oil like substances and a few white pieces. He assured me that he had added a salt substance into the lukewarm water. The women next to me said she watched him clean the tub. I felt at ease so I put my feet in. I got a #2 on the pedicure list, 'most popular' pedicure. After, trimming my nails & filing briefly.. he went on to do lotions, massage, & the foot mask. He never cleaned my cuticles nor attempted. And there was no attention to detail. The nail polish was very bumpy. Fast forward to the foot mask/ wax. Once my foot was ready to come out of the bag, he removed the wax with a warm towel. I think my foot was in the bag 30 Seconds. PAUSE: THE WHOLE REASON I AM PROMPTED TO WRITE THIS. He used the same warm towel to clean the tub & rinsed out the circle filter with water while my toes were drying. NEVER did any chemical or cleaning product come out to clean the tub!!!! He pointed & directed me to the desk area where my feet could sit under the light. He went on to the next customer. I think an pedicure place should be CLEAN!!! There's Foot fungus out there & other feet related things easily contracted! ! I will never visit this pedicure place again. Big deal that I waited only ten minutes! I paid $30 for a pedicure that makes me want to spread disinfectant all over my feet! I regret not listening to my gut when I saw the lukewarm dirty water. read more
