When we finally got a table the service was extremely slow and not overly friendly, but we went ahead and ordered. Drinks wise, our Tart and Frisky was bad, tasting like kombucha drenched with lemon or pickle juice and our latte was basic with almost no flavor to it. Food wise, everything was mediocre and extremely expensive for the simple items we ordered. The fruit cup was served in a condiment cup. I've never been served something so small as a purchased side. The avocado toast was soaked in oil and unpleasant, and the brussels spouts? The menu didn't list it was mixed with peppers which I'm allergic to, so it went mostly untouched. Beautiful brunch spot in downtown! Came for the bottomless mimosas and they were great; one of, if not the only place that serves bottomless around here. We did feel a little bit rushed towards the end (kept offering us boxes, gave us the check early), but our time limit wasn't up yet for bottomless :( Price is a little expensive, but pretty on par with other brunch spots. I've been here quite a few times and everything I've had has been delicious. My last visit was with my husband and we came during brunch hour. I finally had their chicken and waffles and it did not disappoint!! I really like that we were checked on at different times by several different servers. They are all super friendly and helpful. It can get busy in here but there is outdoor and indoor seating. There is a free parking lot across the street which you can typically find parking. Service is not friendly and the last time our waitress, who was behind the bar, argued that the kitchen couldn't make poached eggs even though eggs Benedict was on the menu. Went with my husband, brother and sister in law as Momo's was closed due to a fire. We had driven all the way from Vacaville so I decided to hop on Yelp and find something close by. We decided to come give it a try. My shrimp and grits were good but for the amount I believe it was overly priced. My husband and sister in law got the chilaquiles ( they didn't eat it as the salsa was way too sweet they said) and seemed more like chips with just the salsa poured over. My brother got a salad, which he said was pretty good but for the amount of each dish and tiny portions we won't be returning. They left starving so we headed to mother's tacos in Napa. The ube cookie was good but the bread pudding was bitter and a disappointment we couldn't even get through another bite. What a cute and much-needed dining spot in downtown Vallejo! A beautiful sunny day after watching Oppenheimer called for a late lunch at one of my 707 bookmarks. The corner restaurant had welcoming outdoor seating, vibrant character-filled dining rooms, lovely staff, and tasty - wait for it- provisions! Check out the unique bathroom wallpaper with the Bay Area greats. My parents and hubz sat in the comfy inside left corner and ordered the following: -Cobb salad - Tuna Melt with a fruit cup -Fried chicken sandwich with side salad -Teriyaki bowl with roasted tofu (vegan) The food came out in 15 min or so and the dishes were flavorful, fresh and delicious. I really liked the plate variety- one looked very high tea-worthy. There is also a display of homemade pastries and desserts near the cashier- of course the lemon bar ended up at our table. As a longtime Vallejo resident, I've never been to Provisions but this place was a catering business in the 90's; as I remember. When I arrived the hosts were very polite and I was seated immediately. I already knew what I wanted which is a staple I always get for breakfast chicken and waffles. I've asked if there was grapefruit in the mimosa; since I am allergic to it. So I got the mimosa; yes there are bottomless mimosas too. I didn't get those but I heard it's worth it. The chicken and waffles are delicious. Everyone around me was very friendly and polite. This place definitely felt like home where the community gives a positive vibe and great atmosphere. Had a late Sunday lunch today with the family. Service and food was good. We had our dog with us requested to sit outside but they say we could sit inside with our dog which was very nice. Didn't have to wait long for our a table. They seemed to have quite a few people working. Getting service for something was easy. Our food took about 12-15 min from the time we ordered but they were busy. For food, we ordered the Chicken and Waffles, Chicken sandwich and Teriyaki Bowl. When ordering the Teriyaki Bowl, you'll have a choice of chicken, egg or tofu. We had some confusion when we read the description on the menu. It said it had chicken then listed other ingredients then at the end it said "egg or tofu". My daughter asked to add both egg and tofu assuming it will have chicken. When she received her order, it only had egg and tofu without chicken. The chicken is not part of the meal base. As a suggestion, they should specifically say "choice of chicken, egg or tofu". Listing all the ingredients then put "egg or tofu" at the end of the description is confusing in our opinion. Also on our chicken and waffles (we ordered 2), the chicken was a bit smaller than what we saw from the guest at the table next to us. My wife was here a couple weeks ago as well and she's had two pieces of chicken. So the amount of chicken seems to be inconsistent. Aside from this confusion, they do have good food and service. While we were waiting to get seated, one of the older ladies working there didn't even greet us and just asked us how many people with an attitude. She was probably overwhelmed, but that made us feel unwelcomed As for the food, I wasn't a fan of the Korean bowl. That's my fault though for expecting it to be the same quality as a KBBQ place. Since I had no work and being 10a, treated myself to a bit of bubbly to go with my brunch meal. I ordered the Korean bowl with roasted tofu which came with house made kimchi, cucumber salad, brown rice, fried egg on top with gochujang sauce. My Korean bowl was delicious, I would totally order it again however my friend ordered the teriyaki bowl with chicken and unfortunately the chicken was undercooked. The chicken and waffles did not disappoint. The chicken was crunchy and well seasoned. The inside of the chicken was also very juicy. The waffle was good also as well as the latte. On this first rainy gloomy day of the month, Hubby and I came here. The lady at front asked hubby if we were dining in and he said yes she let him know there is a 10 min wait so we went back to the door to wait next to a nice empty table by the window. A group of four elderly women came in front of us and immediately the same lady that told us to wait seats them and even offered various tables to them. As expected that did not go over well with us, we felt slighted naturally and that she really did not want to serve us so we turned to walk out. That was when she acknowledged us again but by then the damage is done. Hubby told her she did not offer us any of the empty tables like she did to the group before us and that he felt like she did not want to serve us so we left. Sadly I most likely will not be coming back anytime soon as that whole experience just was not pleasant at all and we ended up going out of town to eat too.
