Food: The food was scrumptious. Everything was yummy with fresh ingredients. We got pizza, lemon pepper & garlic parmesan wings, fried pickles and truffle fries. The garlic parm wings lean more "parm" than garlicky but were still tasty. The pizza and wings were especially good and I liked that the pizza had artichokes and Kalamata olives. None of the food was greasy or felt heavy, it was great quality. I would attend a show at the The Regent just to eat here. Service: Amazing customer service. The person at the counter taking orders was friendly & pleasant, they checked on us during our meal to see if everything was good. VO (vegan optional) is the way to go, a simple non-dairy cheese pizza and variation of their Arugula meets Caesar without dairy would be easy... The Adobe Fries are forever a fav, the service is great. I know all the plant-based options from coming here since 2015 and have seen them improve their overall menu across the board. Loads of vegetarian options and some gluten free by default. Great lighting and a fair amount of seating. Fun place to have a meal, shareable eats and rock out a little pre or post event/show. You can also partake in your choice of soft drinks/soda, sparkling water or still, canned cocktails, beer or wine. Free Wi-Fi for those stellar foodie pics, vids and story sharing fun. I waited for over 30 minutes to get a slice of pizza and finally canceled my order. It was not that busy. I could see the slices made, and they just needed to be reheated in the oven, but the ladies working couldn't seem to figure out how to put the slices in the oven. I have work and food service and I am sympathetic to when people get slammed and customers start complaining. This was not one of those situations. Also, when the staff came out to pick up some supplies, they left all the refrigerator doors open. If you're the owner of the restaurant, you can watch the cameras they were working slow as molasses. Came for a quick bite before a comedy show next door wince we came directly from work. Liked the vibe of this small pizzeria and liked the fact that she pre-show was streaming onto the TV while I waited for our food. Service was friendly and quick to take our order. We got the simple margherita pizza, the mac and cheese (more on that in a minute), and a beer for about $28 with tip. The pizza took a long time to prepare (granted, I'm told it's made from scratch, so if that's the case I can't flak em for that - time length wise), and it was... bland. The sauce had no flavor, the dough wasn't crispy, and the basil / parsley had no flavor. I should've just ordered the pepperoni. ANYWAY- The mac and cheese was BOMB. Great pizza here! You have to judge a pizza place by its crust, and the crust is thin, and has great flavor. They serve beer and wine here. My personal favorites are: Arugala e Prosciutto - If you're looking for a pizza without any kind of sauce, I'd recommend this one. Generous amounts of arugula and prosciutto. The sweet balsamic vinegar complements the saltiness of the prosciutto. Adding burratta cheese to this is an absolute must. Margherita - Simple, but done right. We came here for HH on a Friday evening. (Happy Hour - Mon- Fri 5-7PM, yay!) It's located next to the Regent theater so you may see a line forming outside for that, but it's usually not too bad inside. The interior decor is really cute and inviting- vintage meets urban~ Although it's not a big space, there is a lot of seating available with a long communal table in the center and smaller tables scattered throughout. We sat in a corner where they displayed a bunch of small frames with quirky quotes and images on old paper. It was a cute touch and an entertaining read. Moving on to the food! We ordered from the happy hour menu: Piccolo Pizzetta (4) Marghertia Pizzetta (5) Charcuterie (7) The pizzas were alright, was more impressed with the presentation than the taste. I preferred the Piccolo Pizzeta (Pepperoni) over the Margherita but overall felt that the pizzas tasted mellow. It could also be because I had pizza earlier that day at Ben's and Pizzanista and was over pizza by this point. The charcuterie platter was meh although it was really big. It's more like a 3.5, but I'll round up since their space is so lovely! Prufrock is connected to lovesong via a corridor so you can order drinks from the lovesong bar and vice versa- which is pretty cool. Prufrock is a cute little pizzeria attached to the side of The Regent, a theatre/club. It can get loud because of the neighboring shows but at 1 am, it's not really an issue bf you probably came from somewhere just as loud. I was happy to find this little gem so late bc you're usually limited to junk or street food at this hour. I got the Bianca with prosciutto. Delish. Only change I'd make is no prosciutto. Not anything on the restaurant, just as a meat in general, it's too salty and overpowered the flavor of the pizza. Plus it'll save you a couple bucks. My friend got the stretch. I liked this pizza better. It's vegetarian so it's lighter. All pizzas are about 10 inches so it's easily shareable with one other person who's not that hungry or just you if u got the munchies. Cooking time is quick and painless, I didn't keep track but my guess is 7 min. Granted we were the only ones in line though. Crust is perfectly between thin and normal. Generous toppings. [Bottom Line] This was my first time eating here and let's get this out of the way first and foremost it will definitely be my last! So once we receive it we were extremely surprised by how distorted it was as if they squeezed in the pizza into a undersized box or tossed around in an undersized box. And ordered all the main courses of a much needed meal of high comfort. They have a happy hour worth writing home about. Monday thru Friday is half off their long list of small plates and $6 beer and wine from 4 to 7. We were about to bawl on a budget. Nachos was our first course, thr science of their cheese sauce absolutely unforgivable and I could've just had a vat of that on its own with a spoon. Our pizza was white with a foursome of cheeses, garlic and and lemon vinaigrette on a thin hand tossed crust. It was Manhattan marvelous and the affair with our courses were so distracting that I forgot about the Brussels Caesar which ironically came last as a surprise afterthought. I thought I'd be too full to finish the rest but a single sprout survived and the cookies didnt even make it to the train station. (Although the cake consistency was fabulous, why are you so afraid of chocolate?) I arrived at Prufrock Pizzeria since it was connected to the Regent Theater, and it was the only food I could bring into the event I was attending. You can enter through the theater hallway or through the street. The menu sounded delicious, but unfortunately overall experience was only mediocre. The service was friendly enough, average. Another gentleman asked to use their restroom during our conversation, and unfortunately the cashier was a little rude to him (boo). It wasn't a good look for her. We were waiting for the doors to open at the Regent, so I had my friend hold our spot in line so I could put in my order. I'm glad I did, because it was quite slow. I came back twenty minutes later only to wait another 15 minutes; I'm not sure what took them so long since people that ordered after me (similar orders) received their food first. We ordered chicken skewers, salad (I think arugula), and the OBD pizza (10"; Italian soppressata, sun-dried tomatoes, red bell pepper, mushrooms, and red onions). The chicken skewers were on some sort of happy hour sale, but the bad news is that they came not on skewers but rather sad little blobs bopping around a box. Also they were seemingly fried and not wood fired. Very strange, but I was not about to go back since it took forever to even get the food. The salad was standard.
