Found this hidden gem of a churrascuria on my way up the highway from out of town. My husband is Brazilian, and kilo style eating is a big deal for him. This place was the real deal. Couvé, fried yucca, potato salad, farofa, croquetes, two kinds of rice and two kinds of beans on the steam tables, and the grilled meats that makes it so delicious behind the counter. Monica helped serve the food and a gentleman whose name escapes me seemed to be the owner or manager - they were great. The pincanha, chicken hearts, and chicken wrapped in bacon were fantastic, they have a great selection of Brazilian soft drinks, and what looks like a full bar and party room in the back, and delightfully, by the check-out were all sorts of Brazilian caramels and candies- stuff that would make any immigrant homesick. Pruller is by far, my favorite Brazilian Restaurant - this comment is definitely hard for a restaurant to earn! As soon as I walked into Pruller's, I felt at home. Everyone greeted me and spoke with me as if I was a long lost relative! They even took the time to explain each food dish, the ingredients, how each was prepared, and how often they make new dishes for the buffet.... yes, you heard me - Pruller Restaurant is a Brazilian food buffet! As for the food... all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!! You pay a little (very little compared to traditional Brazilian Restaurants), and you definitely get a LOT! I asked the front desk person of my hotel where to get dinner. He recommended Pruller. As a single diner I was worried how I would be received. I was greeted upon entry and the price structure was explained. All the different hot and cold sides were explained which was very nice. The sides were excellent as were the meats. The young lady cutting the meat asked how I liked my meat cooked, which is rare at a restaurant of this type. All the meats were properly seasoned and phenomenal. I was looking for something a bit nicer to take my team to for dinner. Based on reviews, I thought this might fit the bill. Initially, I was a bit surprised as the location was essentially a storefront and the look was a bit run down. However, that all disappeared with the warm and friendly greetings of the staff and host. Alex (?) asked us if we had been there before (no) and he quickly explained how the buffet works. The buffet is relatively straightforward in layout, but the selection is what sets it apart: many excellent Brazilian selections, several rice dishes and less common but still very tasty options like tripe and potatoes. What I really enjoyed was their version of the Brazilian steakhouse: instead of waiters coming to you with various options, you can request what they have cooking and they'll cut it right at the end of the buffet line. They had several options, but three stood out that night: top sirloin (excellent), bacon wrapped chicken (excellent) and garlic beef (amazing). If you like garlic, you could pretty much sustain yourself off of this. They have a variety of soft drinks available. The catch? It's only $13.99 per person. Love this place. As everyone else said, the staff is super friendly and helpful. We felt right at home seconds after walking in. The man behind the counter explained how everything worked and every different meat he had to offer. The food was delicious. I've also been to Labredas in Marlboro, Brasilis in Framingham, Midwest Grille in Somerville and Fogo De Chao...in Houston. This place is not Fogo De Chao and their awesome cheese breads, but it also doesn't cost an arm and a leg like Fogo. And you pay a flat fee, not a per weight like Labredas and Brasilis. They have about 10-12 sides, with my favorites being the potato salad, vinaigrette (looks like salsa), rice and plantains. I only had the black beans, they were ok. It should be noted I didn't eat any of the cooked entrees, but all the other patrons seemed to be eating them. Maybe I'm missing out. But let's get to what I went for, brazilian bbq. as stated by everyone else, brazilian bbq is generally saltier on the outside. Personally, I love it...but if you don't this might not be the place for you, or you'll need more sides to compliment it. Anyways, I had the chicken wings, which were nicely crisp, yet not dried out, the pork which was also nicely crisped, chicken hearts (ask for one, if you don't like it don't get anymore), spicy sausage which had a nice level of spice, not too hot, not too mild and the steak. One piece of steak was amazingly soft and tender, while the second serving I had was a little bit tougher. Not sure why, as the second piece looked more rare. what I did also appreciate was that when i went back up, the guy remembered I wanted medium rare and asked me to make sure. Staff was really nice, I got a pina colada and the guy told me i made a good choice as he said it was really good. Maybe he was just being a salesperson, but either way it was nice that he made an effort to talk to me. The only thing I wish was that they had a sign of what meats they have. I read that they had chicken wrapped in bacon, but I didn't see it and I went during the busy lunchtime and didn't want to be the guy who KEPT holding up the line drooling at the meats. read more

Best Brazilian food I've had in a while! There are places closer to home that I frequent, but I will definitely go out of my way to come here again. The meats were perfectly cooked and juicy, the feijoada was meaty and delicious, the potato salad was not overly salty... I wanted to eat some of everything! Alas, not possible. This place doesn't have as enormous of a selection at the hot / cold bars as my regular spots, but I think the quality of the food available more than makes up for that. read more

My family and I were in Marlborough looking for dinner right before after 8:30 PM. Found Pruller on Yelp and decided to try it. Its very close to 495, but a little off the beaten path. First impressions were that the restaurant is bright and clean, and smelled great. We got there at 15 minutes to closing, so we ended up taking out meal to go. Typical brazilian BBQ with a buffet up front and meats cut to order off the grill. The staff at the counter and register were very friendly, and they seemed to take great pride in their establishment. The man serving us indicated that 2 of the $10 boxes to go would be enough for four of us. We got 2 $10 plates to go and one $14 box to go, which included an extra tin of BBQ meats. Altogether we had the following: yellow rice, black beans, brown beans, collard greens, mashed squash, grilled chicken, grilled pork, grilled garlic beef, grilled sausage, fried Yucca, and fried plaintains, and a 2 liter of Guarana soda. Everything was hot at the buffet, and everything was still hot when we got it home and made plates. All of the food was very tasty, especially the pork and sausages. With four people eating we had more than half of the food left when we were done, just to give you an idea of the portions we got. There were no negatives at all for us in the meal/experience. Now that we have found this new Brazilian BBQ treasure, we will be back soon, and early enough to eat in! read more

I absolutely love this little joint! Their all you can eat buffet is $13.99 or you can pay per pound (forgot the price). It is totally worth it! The buffet has a bunch of varieties but usually when I go to a Brazilian restaurant, I go for the meat! They offer all kinds (top sirloin, chicken wings, bacon wrapped chicken, chicken hearts, sausages (spicy available) and pork! If Pruller ever need a poster child for their restaurant I would in no doubt be that person; and rightfully so, I come in to eat almost every week. The food is phenomenal. The staff are nice, friendly, and attentive. They speak Portuguese, English, and Spanish. I am greeted with warm welcomes every time, and as I sit and eat there, I see that everyone is also greeted with that same warm welcome. I always bring anyone who wants to try Brazilian food here. I don't even go to any other Brazilian BBQ restaurants anymore. (I did go to another one out of convenience once, and was so disappointed.)
