Wondered in after an intense Friday and Saturday nights where I was left completely depleted of energy and stamina. Rolled the dice and had a Combination pho at this Vietnamese restaurant. Great portions, pho temps were good, fresh basil, green onions, and green limes finished up this meal to perfection. Service was good. When they changed owners, updated...whatever they did they should've dropped the name Express to stagnant, delayed, hella slow. This place is anything but fast. We came in around noon for a "quick" lunch. While we were seated pretty quick the only server/cashier they seemed to have forgot about us for so long we nearly gave up, When we finally made eye contact and ordered we did have our food fairly soon. However once it came we were not given any utensils. Yes, there are chopsticks at the table, but no spoons for the broth, forks for those who hate chopsticks (my lunch date). After patiently waiting for her to bring them because we asked at food drop off I got up about five minutes later, went to the counter and asked. Pho was ok, but so much better in the past. We had couple things togo from PT. The lemongrass chicken had really yummy moist chicken with delicious lemongrass sauce. It included plenty of rice to go with it. However, the sauce was tad greasy. We also had the grilled pork spring rolls. It only had rice noodles and lettuce with lots of grilled pork. Simple yet delicious. We will return to try more items. Food was good, however the service was the worst I have had in my entire life. The waitress threw menus down without a single greeting. She did not say hello, introduce herself, etc. She came back and asked what we wanted to eat, we ordered and the food came out around 10 minutes later. She never came back to check on us, ask if we needed anything, etc. My drink was also empty and I was not offered another water, however, she wouldn't have known as she never came back to the table after bringing the food out. When we were done, we had to get our own to go boxes as she was no where to be found. Then we head up to the counter to pay. The pho was listed as $10.99 on the menu, she was telling us that it was $12.99, which was written in pen on the menu. It was not. There was no explaining other than that and no effort to make things right. I have been eating here for years and supported the restaurant when they brought another location to cave creek. I was in a few minutes ago. I was picking up a mobile order for a Pho (5e) and a Tea. When I walked in, a young lady came from the back. She did not address me. I said to her, "I'm here to pick up a mobile order for Lee." She proceeds to grabs it from the counter and push it my way. She didn't say a word to me. I noticed that my tea was missing. I said, "I'm sorry, there should be a tea with my order." She grabbed the food she had pushed toward me to check the ticket. Then, she walked over to a tablet to check the order there. She notices she did in fact miss my tea. Still she does not address me or even look at me. I can tell she is annoyed by something. She turns to make my tea. Once she finishes, she sets in on the counter next to the food I ordered and turns are walks away. Still, not speaking to me or looking at me. I kindly said to her, "Thank you very much, mam." By this time she is halfway in the kitchen having never said a single word to me. I am writing this so that hopefully a manager or owner might be able to address with employees. I've been here only twice. Once was a year ago. The soup was lukewarm and not flavorful. The second time I went was just two days ago. I went in at 7:13. Waited for 3 minutes at the cashier for someone to come out of the kitchen only to be told no more dine in because cut off time was 7:15. The sign says they close at 8pm. The boss needs to be aware when he turns the business to a bunch of kids who don't care for the biz, this is what happens. I left and another table who came in at the same time with me also left. This place has only been open a week so not listed yet. I had to go onto GrubHub to find the address. Anyhow, this a Vietnamese place with many pho options. I had the veggie & tofu pho ($10) and you can also request vegetable broth. A decent broth and everything came correctly. They definitely give you bean sprout, two stems of basil, cilantro, onions, spring onions, 2 wedges of lime, enough noodles, and sriracha and hoisin sauce. I'll def be back as this is the closest Vietnamese place to me! read more

Ordered a pork spring roll via phone but wasn't told it was BBQ (never seen spring rolls offered with tough rubbery meat in them) which usually comes with sliced plain pork inside...Apparently teriyaki pork and chicken are what they put in their spring rolls. I've ate spring rolls at countless pho places here in AZ and while traveling to several other states, and literally none of the other places make theirs like this. I'm almost positive I ordered spring rolls from their location near Albertsons a long time ago and it wasn't like this. While waiting for my order, a table of two ladies next to me also gave theirs back complaining that the meat tasted rubbery like teriyaki chicken. Teriyaki and peanut sauce - no thanks. When I took it to their other location near Frys since I was already going that way for other errands to see if this was a mistake, she said that's just how they make it. Basically I was SOL. I would have given 2 stars as the cashier was very friendly at the first location near Albertsons, but seeing that this is the third time I've tried PT Pho (which the first was normal), but the last 2 times there have been issues and no offer of a refund even though the lady at the second location said they're owned by the same owner, I definitely won't be back. read more

I ordered the PT Pho and the noodles were over soaked and they kept breaking into tiny little pieces and the noodles are supposed to be long but these ones were like a little tiny shreds. ** really a must try** I was skeptical about this place because it had only a few reviews and few pictures to see if it's worth the time but we didn't feel like driving and craving Vietnamese food. We are not disappointed and I'm so glad we gave it a try. Good enough options and they have the basics and a bit more. Their shrimp and grilled pork fresh roll were a little bigger compared to other places! Which of course pleased my hungry tummy very much. The crispy wings was really crispy (but not too spicy) I guess that's good for the general ppl but I love spicy so I was hoping for stronger kick. The grilled vermicelli bowl was good too and my daughter had the beefball pho and it hit the spot, and I'm picky about my pho and haven't had a good bowl since the ones we always go to (in elmhurst New York queens). The place were clean and tidy and the girl (that handled everyone and everything like a rock star) was nice and did a great job by herself (aside from the cook). Ok. Let me start off. The 'Hot and Spicy Soup' is AMAZING!!!! I made a Yelp account just to write a review on just how AMAZING it is. I love the ambiance of the restaurant. The servers are really hot, ESPECIALLY the one who's always sad--However, the customers are hideous and WHITE!!! Why are you allowing white chimpanzees into your restaurant!!!! I would, however, digress. I also really enjoy the spring rolls here!!! Really big and filling. My kids love them. I don't even know where to begin with this review. I decided to try a new pho location since this was in my area - very bad idea. Ordered teriyaki chicken for my children because how do you go wrong with basic teriyaki chicken. I was wrong again. The chicken was so hard and stringy I couldn't even feed it to my 3 year old or 1 year old. The broccoli and carrots were extremely soggy - completely inedible. They only ate the white rice on the side. Since my kid's food was inedible, I fed the pho noodles (that arrived 25 minutes after my kids food arrived) to them so they could have something in their stomachs for dinner. It was 7:25pm, when I tried to order another pho soup so I could have my own bowl of food since sharing the first bowl with the kids - I was told the kitchen was closed (mind you they close at 8pm) and I could not place an order. The waitress then asked if I would accept a smaller bowl of food so the kitchen wouldn't have to make a larger portion - I said yes in an effort to not be difficult. The bowl of food never came out. For a Vietnamese restaurant this was not a valid representation of the culture and food experience that we all know and love. The waitress was nice, but shy and seemed scared of the kitchen staff. The grocery store lighting also made the atmosphere feel very cafeteria like. I was in a rush to leave with my kids- so I quickly paid and after I walked out - realized I never saw an itemized receipt of my order and didn't receive a receipt after I paid so I have no idea what I actually paid for. Despite my horrible experience I was still kind, patient, and still tipped the waitress - which is the right thing to do, but my family and I will never be back - especially after seeing their health rating/history on Yelp. My experience makes a lot of a sense after seeing that report. They do not seem to take pride in their food or customer service. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. If you're in the area - In N Out is across the street. Don't stop here for food! read more

Well first of all I never leave bad reviews because I figure it happened by accident-but since my first experience here we ALWAYS HAVE SOMETHING MISSING from my Pho. EVERY SINGLE TIME! And we get take out from them WEEKLY. Since the first few times that my husband had to run back to get the missing ingredient(s) now we ALWAYS check the boxes. Today was the last straw; ordered the pho this time with extra meat for an extra charge. My husband checked the boxes but there was no way to see through the broth. Well Lo and behold no extra meat, but the extra charge was there and a nice tip by my husband to boot. My husband was furious, called the manager and they didn't even offer to refund the extra charge, make it right or offer anything! So sad, we also own a restaurant and understand staffing issues, etc, but you must make things right as a restaurateur! Customer service is critical! Consequently We won't be returning. We'll find another place or just make our own. read more
