Clean and open atmosphere. Service was quick and food was very tasty with a good selection

My husband and I visited Pub 56 for the first time after a trip to the Aurora Outlet Mall. Since it was suggested based on location, we decided to give it a try. Upon entering, the dining room had a nice ambiance, and we were immediately seated at a booth. I started with a Blue Moon. For an appetizer, we shared the traditional single-size buffalo wings ($9), which were excellent. They had prominent grill marks, giving them a delicious smoky flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the Reuben sandwich ($13.50), but it was underwhelming. There was barely any corned beef between the bread, and it was a bit dry. I wouldn't order it again. However, I upgraded my side to the broccoli cheddar soup ($2.50), which was the right choice. It was thick, creamy, and exactly the texture I love in a soup. My husband ordered the beef brisket ($16.50), but our waitress mistakenly put it in as the Smoked Brisket Melt ($13). Since he doesn't eat bread, this was a big disappointment. There wasn't enough meat inside to make it worth keeping, so he had to wait a bit before he could inform the waitress of the mistake. She corrected it and apologized, and once my husband received the right dish, he enjoyed the brisket's flavor, but he still thought it was a bit small. He also ordered a Caesar salad as his side, which he liked. Service was a downside to our experience. Our waitress seemed to be having a bad day--she wasn't very friendly, and it took a long time for her to check on us, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. The only time she seemed more engaged was after realizing her mistake with my husband's order. Additionally, it appeared she was sick, as she was coughing throughout our visit, which was concerning. Overall, our experience was decent, but nothing exceptional. The food had some highlights, but given the service and some of the inconsistencies, Pub 56 wouldn't be my first choice for a return visit.

A nice place for a cocktail or beer. Great service at the bar during our visit. It is quite dark in here (at least it was when we were here on a weekend) yet I do like the ambiance. It is a nice open space, great for a group of friends. Very sports oriented and a cool ceiling . Clean bathrooms are always a plus. Very welcoming bartender. Did not try the food but the menu looks good. A person sitting next to us ordered a jalapeño cocktail and it looked so interesting that I took a photo haha.

This is a nice bar / restaurant the parking is convenient and free right in front of the door. The atmosphere is is very nice, it is always nicely decorated and clean. We were there with a group of 7 and Roman our server was outstanding at keeping up. Everyone at our table was served in a timely manner with all of our food being served exactly how we had ordered it. The day we were there the nachos were half off so we ordered nachos for each end of the table. The menu has some of the standard bar fare but also offers some unique and different types of dishes. The salads we very good with fresh ingredients and crisp greens. They offer fries, sidewinder fries, tots or waffle fries with their sandwiches. We ordered several of the dishes a little different than they were on the menu and it all came out perfect. I have been here several times and the meals and food have been perfect each time but the service is truly where they shine.

The service was horrible. I was there watching a baseball game and the bartender was rushing us to order, told me that if I drink fast that she would just bring me two drinks at a time because she didn't want to go into the kitchen every time I wanted a drink. The ambience was very hostile from the staff, no friendly faces just people trying to rush us out of there. When we got the tab she was rushing me to sign it so she can go home. Honestly the place has gone down the drain which sucks because i have a lot of good memories coming here.

2 alcoholic drinks, 1 dessert and 2 entrees for under $50 before tax???? YES, PLEASE!!! Had a great experience for our first time at Pub 56. We were seated immediately, our waitress brought over menus right away and said she would give us a few minutes after telling about the specials. She checked back as we looked at their extensive bar menu, but not in a pushy kind of way. We decided on a 1/2 off glass of Sangria (which she graciously let me try a little sample first as I didn't want it if it was overly citrusy/dry and she wasn't sure on it) and a 2 Fools Cider Cherry Limeade 10oz. Both drinks were really good. The sangria was fruity, a little citrusy and a little sweet. They had 1/2 off wines, discounts on 23 oz beers and discounts on pasta entrees and this was on a Saturday, which I haven't experienced discounts on Saturdays too often. Hubby opted for their boneless wings in Kentucky Bourbon with bleu cheese. They were grilled, instead of breaded and the outer part of the chicken had a nice crisp char, it made them taste so good. The grilled chicken stir fry was a large bowl of veggies and chicken strips with enough teriyaki to coat every piece, but not overly saturated with a small bit of rice underneath. Lots of times you don't get a ton of veggies and chicken and a massive amount of rice, but this was not the case at all. Ended the meal with a La Fiesta shake which was a Smores style shake with cinnamon/vanilla ice cream topped with toasted marshmallows, a hershey mini bar and some graham crackers. It was to die for. The shake alone was $12, which goes to show how inexpensive everything else was. Service was fast and friendly, lots of TVS surrounding you from every angle. Sound level was not so loud that we couldn't have a conservation. I don't need to rank anything solely, as everything was a 5/5. We will definitely be back.

When we're in town, we hit up all the old favorites, and Miller's Ale House was on the menu on June 25th. We had dinner plans with friends later, but we squeezed in a lunch date with beer and a shared appetizer. Their wings are legendary, so we ordered 12 to go with our brews. Let's get to the review. Service was top-notch - our host greeted us with a smile, and our waiter was on point. We got our beers within five minutes, no problem. The ambiance was cozy, well-lit, and bustling with sports tv and ambient noise. But here's the kicker - we waited 30 minutes for our wings. Yeah, it was 1:30 when we arrived and the place was pretty empty, but that's no excuse. Now why did give a rating of two? Well, for the service and ambiance only. We were served our wings at 2:00. How were the wings you maybe wondering? My Husband and I eagerly grab wing flats. 'Can these bones live?' Eating those wings immediately reminded me of Ezekiel 37 in the Old testament after he saw skeletons scattered about asked, "Can these bones live?" The wings were drier than the Sahara, and the honey barbecue sauce was just a weak attempt to revive the corpse. Can these dry out wings live up to being freshly made and juicy covered up by a tasty honey barque sauce? Hell to the naw, naw naw!!! We called our waiter over explained our dissatisfaction with a request to remove the wings off our bill. We still tipped him, because hey, he's not the wing assassin. since he only served the food and it was the kitchen that prepared that saucy dressed up trash plated up real pretty. What a let down Miller's. We noticed your price increase for six wings cut in half sold as 12 pieces. If you expect customers to pay more for less than you should be serving your best, that is cooked fresh not food that is precooked sitting for hours then reheated. I did check your reviews which were not the best and gave you the benefit of a doubt despite low ratings. Would I recommend Miller's? Sure, if you enjoy eating dry wings and wondering if they'll crawl off your plate. However, to each their own, your money, your call. This economy has got me rethinking the whole 'strike three and you're out' deal. Paying more for less, subpar service, unnecessary waiting time, honey it is now, strike one, you're on out as my time and coins are valuable and restaurants are hurting so I will search for one where I can get the love I deserve.

What was most concerning was watching a regular customer fall and hit his head so hard that the entire building heard it. Instead of showing concern or handling the situation professionally, the bartender's response was, "He does this all the time," and she seemed more annoyed than worried. I honestly can't wrap my head around how the situation was handled. Regardless of whether someone is a regular or has fallen before, a head injury should always be taken seriously and treated with care and professionalism. I left almost immediately after seeing how that was handled. The only bright spot of the evening was the server working the floor. She was, friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. Management, please do better. Your bartender's attitude and lack of concern for customers reflected poorly on your establishment. Customer service and safety should always come first. Six o'clock rolls around and we're told they're still cleaning the table. Okay, we wait. Then we wait. And wait. Thirty minutes later, we find out the people who had the table STILL hadn't even left. Baby...what exactly were we reserving three weeks ago, a future dream? They offered us a complimentary appetizer, which I appreciate in theory, but when you've got a party of eight waiting 40 minutes past their reservation time, I'm not really looking for the cheapest appetizer on the menu. I'm looking for the table I reserved. Eventually, we were seated, and thank GOD for our server Alexis B, because they completely turned the experience around. Funny, knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and genuinely one of the best servers I've ever had. If I could give them five stars separately, I would. They made us feel welcome and somehow kept the whole table laughing after that rocky start. The food had some hits and misses. The crab cake was a little too spicy for my taste, although the rest of the table enjoyed it. The mini sliders, however? DELICIOUS. That buttery, well seasoned bun was doing exactly what it needed to do. Then came my Entourage burger, and baby...THAT burger understood the assignment. It was absolutely packed with flavor. So good that I practically inhaled it. My server even asked if I wanted another one because apparently I ate it fast enough to qualify for a second round. Unfortunately, the management situation left a lot to be desired. After the issues getting our table, the managers seemed to keep watching our group throughout the night. If you're going to stare, baby, at least commit to the performance! It made an already awkward situation feel even more uncomfortable. Honestly, my server Alexis B, was the ONLY reason this experience ended on a positive note. They were so charming and personable that by the end, they felt more like a friend than a server. I'm genuinely going to miss them. The food was good, and that burger was fantastic, but a three-week reservation should not turn into a 40 minute wait with a party of eight standing around wondering when they're going to eat. So unfortunately, I'm leaving with two stars. The food gave me reasons to come back, but the reservation experience and management gave me reasons to stay home. And to my server: you were the star of the night. Protect this person at all costs.
