Pub 6T5 was formally the 6th Bristol. It has been beautifully renovated. The bathrooms are roomy and comfortable. On weekends they have good bands. However the food and drinks are quite pricey. Most inexpensive way to go is the pizza. My husband and I stopped in for lunch. My husband had the $12.99 Haddock dinner. I had a $9.99 Chicken Tender appetizer which came with only blue cheese dressing - no celery. For drinks my husband had a couple of Dewars & water. I just had soda water. We bought one glass of wine for a friend. I was shocked at the $63 tab. For lunch?!!!! They had even charged $2.50 for my soda water - I could see charging for the water if you aren't eating, but we ate! I was quite annoyed. I won't eat there again. read more

I finally had a chance to check this place out. We went New Years Eve at about 5pm. The parking lot wasn't full and we walked in and there was only one other table with a young couple eating. There was a few people at the bar. This should have been the first red flag. Which restaurant is dead on New Years at 5pm? The inside had a good vibe and decor. While looking over the menu the only other couple in the restaurant was complaining about the taste of the food. Second red flag! Our waitress had no idea about much on the menu. They had only one special which was a Friday night special. Really! My boyfriend ended up getting the soup of the day which he said was too spicy. I ordered the $19 steak tips and was hoping for rice but they only offered fries, Brussel spouts or mashed potatoes. I opted for the Brussel sprouts which were super greasy and my steak tips which were extra fatty and I felt like I was eating a chew toy and there was only like 4/5 pieces. My boyfriend ordered the Margarita pizza which upon arrival was room temperature. My waitress wasn't very attentive and they were having a big party for New Years and they had way more workers then patrons. We chose this Restaurant because it piqued our interest. We hadn't been since it was renovated. We walked in and was greeted by the owner, whom brought us to our seats. We chatted about how great it looked compared to what it was and about the menu and what was the best he thought to order! The waitress ordered our drinks and brought us - made to order bread and dipped oil that was to die for delicious! I ordered beef soup/stew and a pepperoni pizza. The 75 year old family recipe.. our friends ordered the special prime rib and it was the best they had had! Even the vegetables were prepared with care! They ordered desserts, sweet bread pudding and a cookie sundae, both again were delicious! From the moment we sat down until we got up was a great experience! The music was a soft rock and it made the experience much more than expected! I look forward to coming back! Great job!! read more

This is my favorite bar in all of New Bedford!!! The atmosphere is absolutely amazing! The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food if phenomenal and wait time is low. The owner, Rick, is awesome! He welcomes almost all guests and seems genuinely interested in your experience is as a guest. They get the best DJs and even have live bands multiple times a week! .....sitting at the bar and a couple just won 1,000,000 on a scratch off ticket!!!!!!!! Best bar ever! read more

Our first visit to Pub 6T5 was pretty good. The owner welcomed us in and ran through all the great things they had to offer. We started with a few drinks and the Pub 6T5 Nachos. The nachos we're great. For dinner we both ordered pizza. I had the Fall Reeva pizza and my wife had the Dorrance. A few weeks later my wife and I had a craving for those delicious nachos so we packed up the family and headed in to place our order. Our daughter wanted the steak tips but they we're out of them. (along with a bunch of other things) Instead she ordered chicken fingers. Seeing that she really wanted the steak waitress offered the Portuguese steak without eggs in its place. A few minutes later the waitress returned to let her know they we're out of the steak as well and that she'd switched out the order for chicken fingers. About twenty minutes pass and our dinner arrives, no nachos... WTH? To make things worse I had ordered the New Bedford broiled scallops, a "Signature Item" on the menu. The scallops are supposed to made with seasoned breadcrumbs. What I got was a good portion of scallops but they appeared to be boiled not broiled with no breadcrumbs sitting in a murky gray water. At that point my wife and I just wanted to leave so we boxed up our leftovers and got the check. As the waitress approached my teenage daughter was talking about hating having to wake up school after playing volleyball all day. The waitress piped in that she has to get up at 4:30 am to work at Honeydew then of to work at the restaurant and that she'd love to play volleyball all day... Really? Awful, the restaurant was moderately business but not close to packed. The table ordered, wait a long time for food. Which is fine, then the waiter forgot a whole meal but did not come to the table in a timely manner to fix the mistake. Ordered the meal by the time everyone else had already been halfway through, so took the meal to go. Still charged for the meal and one drink. By the time I got home to eat the meal, it was soggy and terrible, waiter was unapologetic and did not even offer a free drink, or even their sympathy for the extended wait after not putting in a whole order. read more

I visited PUB 6T5 this past Friday. Party of 4. I've been several times since they opened. I had one of the dinner specials. Chicken with buffalo alfredo and bacon. It was incredible. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. Staff is awesome, owners are great, they can't do enough for you. Highly recommend this pub to all. Nicely priced, clean, lots of variety, and everyone is so attentive. This is a high end pub. And the team there is like "Cheers", "where everybody knows your name". Love it. read more

Bad experience. No refills on our drinks. The pizza we ordered had literally no cheese on it. A shame because it had really good flavor. Basically like eating bread. Every table but us got a bread basket to the table. Fish really lacked seasoning badly. My burger was good beside the hardened qeuso sauce. Hopefully it's not always like this. read more

I love his place! The place looks great, I love the atmosphere and the bar top is really cool. I love the half chicken, my hubs likes the steak tips and our daughter loves the pizza . Drinks are good and no complaints with the service. The do take out and u can have it delivered through the GotChew app ( which is awesome!) menu isn't to extensive but there is still plenty to choose from. What I like best about this place is that not one time has gone by where I didn't see the owner checking on all of the guests. Very nice man! read more

Came here for the first time. Was seated and the owner came up to me and my friend and offered us free drinks to place us at a different table. We both ordered pizzas. I didn't like mine and asked to switch it out. The waitress gave me a bit of a hard time but the owner came back over and apologized saying he would give me a pizza I did like of any choice on the house. I hate doing this but tonight it was an awful experience. The restaurant was full but there wasn't an extraordinary long line or wait., bar was not full. We sat right away and there was no wait, other than for service from our waitress and for food. We waited a while for the waitress that supposedly didn't know we were there, but after that 1st drink and apps came out fast, nothing else after that was fast unfortunately :(. Calamari was extremely dry, no flavor, awful. Soup was fine. Ordered food and everything I asked for on the pizza menu, out of?? No figs , or poached pears on the pizza menu. Waitress proceeded to tell us that the menu was outdated and it would take a while to get food. Ok.. we ordered anyway not being afraid of a wait especially with heads up. Ordered the pizza with garlic paste and pancetta and greens and Caesar with shrimp and burger.. Too bad the waitress forgot about us again and we had no drinks though we were thirsty.. 30 min into it luckily the bartender noticed our very empty glasses and came to our table and served us... Finally get our food 45 min + and , pizza is burnt and tasteless, shrimp on Caesar is raw, they didn't even bring dressing.. waitress did send Mgr over who did the right thing and took the food off the menu. The only reason they are getting 2 stars from me is because the bartender stepped up and there manager did the right thing. 2nd visit. 1st visit was fine, not great.. but fine. Stopped in specifically to catch the live band playing there. The positive reviews of this place are spot on. We had a great meal, the steak tips were awesome and it was a great atmosphere to see the band. Even with a full house staff and owner all very friendly and we had a great time. We frequently went to Pub 6 and figured we would try the 'new' version. Food was ok... but a bit pricey. Tried a cheeseburger and was quite surprised that not only did they charge $1.50 for a tiny slice of cheese but .50 for a slice of onion and .50 for one skinny slice of tomato! We had to ask for bread.. dip was excellent But no spoon to put it on bread plate. No salt and pepper on table... wait staff hard to find. Disappointing .... read more

We have been coming to this place for a number of years now and always had a great experience. The owner himself would circulate throughout, greeting people and checking to make sure everyone was enjoying their meal. Sadly last night ( 4/16/22 ) will be the very last time we go there and will never again recommend it to anyone. Right off the bat our server seemed to have a bit of an attitude and not the least bit friendly. Things went down hill from there. It took at least 30-45 minutes for 3 in our party to receive their meals. The others twiddled our thumbs and waited another 30 minutes and one of those meals came out wrong and had to be returned. More waiting for it to finally come back. Two other parties of 4 each had come in during this time, seated well after us and their tables received their meals promptly while we sat there still waiting. Our server must have had friends in both other parties because she happily chated with them while they were eating. At some point the manager came over with a bit of a insincere apology at which point one in our group told her not to bother bringing her meal. The first three of us who got their meals were half way through them while she and I sat there with no plates in front of us. She obviously never got one because she had enough of the fiasco and told them to keep their food. Of the three who got their meals first two requested blue cheese with their order. When their meals arrived one had a side of blue cheese and the other did not. When this was pointed out to the server she responded saying " I thought you told me you were going to share it". Off she went to get more. More waiting and finally coming back and basically throwing wo small to-go containers of it on the table. She also did not bring back another beer that had been requested and by the look on her face she was clearly annoyed with it being pointed out to her. Off she goes and now more waiting for her to finally bring it back. I personally couldn't wait for this nightmare to be over. Two in our party needed take home containers. The server brought back one. More waiting for her to return with second one and more waiting to finally get our checks. Surprise! The amounts included a 20% tip for "large" parties. Throughout this whole time the manager made no effort or offer to try and make things right and added insult to injury by thanking us for coming and wishing us a pleasant rest of our evening. Worst bar service I have ever had. By far. Rude from start to finish. Asked if we are all set, when we ask for another round she says "well we're closed". Then why ask us? Or god forbid offer last call. And the price for my prosecco in the menu is $9, but nah the actual price is $12 just because. And when you look online for their hour or even painted on the front door, don't believe it. Cuz when the painted on hours on the front door say 10pm, they actually mean 9pm. Went for the first time recently. Only tried the pizza but it was really good. Fresh toppings, great sauce, quality cheese and meats and veggies. Atmosphere was great. The huge horseshoe shaped bar accommodates plenty of seats with USB charging ports hidden near your seat! Rick (the owner) is a warm, friendly man who doesn't hesitate to welcome you back or in for the first time with a handshake and smile! And Alex and Amanda are our favorite bartender and manager! You're sitting in spottlessly clean, beautifully designed and decorated space with friendly staff and you're going to indulge in some phenomenal food! I have NEVER been disappointed! The out of this world pizza has the best crust in town! Everything from the everyday NB with linguica, peppers and onions to the innovated Dorrance - My favorite with garlic spread, fresh mozzarella, proscuitto, greens and a balsalmic drizzle or the new Breakfast pizza with Linguica, bacon, caramelized onions, eggs, Portugese steak and drizzled with gravy will knock your socks off! The apps are delicious! Our go to's are the parmesan garlic wings cooked crispy and never greasy and the "Nachos" with homemade chips and pulled pork! And if you still can't decide what to choose from their many selections the BEST Chicken Piccata I have ever had! The service from the bar has always been a good experience. Tonight, a Saturday night at 8:30, when things appear to be getting more quiet, we were greeted at the door as if we were not worthy of dining at this establishment. My opinion is only because that should be addressed in order to not turn down more open customers, new and regular, to the establishment. read more

WARNING!!!!!! Don't go to Pub 6t5 under new owners and management. We got seated at our table and noticed that the flowers on the table were stained with Marinara sauce. My mom ordered a margarita with a salted rim and got no salt. My sister ordered a sangria they gave her different fruit juices mixed in a glass. We waited 50 mins for appetizers then got our appetizers and within 2 mins 3 of the 5 meals came out. Staff didn't realize we didn't have the other two meals until we said something after 10 mins. Also one of the 3 meals was wrong. Once the other two meals came they were cold and drowned in sauce. We complained and the manager seemed not to care. They replaced one of the meals with a Cesar salad. The salad was throw together and in a hot bowl. To top it off the appearance and taste of food was gross. Most of us didn't each much to anything. Just all around horrible experiences and will not be coming back of spending any money here. read more

Ordered from the local food delivery service GotChew. Order came promptly, with food still hot. No problems there. Got the "Chourico" burger... but still trying to figure out where the the chourico was?? Didn't look, taste or smell anything like any chourico I've ever eaten. Burger was cooked medium, what I ordered, but to be honest there was nothing special about it. The hot pepper mayo was good, but there was way too much. I think they just cooked a regular burger with no chourico and slapped a TON of that mayo on it. Also ordered the rosemary fries.. there was nothing rosemary about them. Seemed like ordinary French fries to me. Would hesitantly try this restaurant again.. but not sure about take out next time. PAID 20+ DOLLARS for an ordinary cheeseburger read more

Visited with family. Owner came to the table welcomed us personally. Suggested a beer on tap and personally brought it to my brother in law to taste. A limited menu allows them to focus an quality. Burgers good flavor, steak tips tender, fish and chips not greasy. Beer was cold and martini was good as well. Service was a little slow but not bad. Only dislike was the clam chowder. Not sure if its house made not a lot of flavor. On the way out the owner again thanked us again and wished us a Merry Christmas. I went back 2 days later with a co worker for lunch and he enjoyed the burgers as well. Menu is a little on the high end $ but enjoyed it. I've seen a few reviews calling the owner a racist ?? Just a FYI my family is diverse and my co worker is DR and at no time interacting with owner Rick did we get a sense of any disrespect. Will be back again !! read more

Went to eat there tonight for the second time, very disappointed in the service and quality. I was really looking forward to having a place in my neighborhood that I could go to for eating, drinking and DANCING! However, I ordered the salmon, before the table next to me but then got told that there was no salmon left (while the rest of my parties order was ready) and I chose something else.Not that big of a deal right? WRONG! because,meanwhile, about 2 minutes later, the table next to me, who ordered AFTER me, got "the last piece of salmon", according to the runner bringing the food. # 1 , they should not be bragging about that when they do not now what the table close by ordered and # 2 WTF! I love salmon and was really in the mood for it! The waitress was very apologetic but she did not advocate for us at all. She should have made the kitchen give us the last piece of salmon or at least got us something comped after making the owner aware. I was raving about the place a couple weeks ago and now I am just embarrassed I brought my family there. I am hoping this post will help the restaurant. I really do not like to complain but I am genuinely disappointed. On another note, the rest of the food was just OK. I know the owner wants constructive criticism so here you go! By the way, I love food and always like to to tip well but not tonight! I've been several times. The remodel is beautiful, but the food was lacking. The menu is small and priced high for the quality.

The Service was great. Owner walked up to my sister and I when we arrived. Gave us a warm welcoming, defiently felt comfortable being in there. He introduced himself and told us the slight history of the restaurant. Gave us a bigger table and allowed us to enjoy our stay. Told us about their lunch specials and $2 Coorse Lights and told us to enjoy it having to be our first time there. Our server was very nice herself. I ordered a Raspberry Margarita, it was very bitter which I would probably not order again but I drank it anyway due to a rough morning. We ordered a chowder and chili to start which was delicious. We ordered 2 chicken wrap from the lunch menu. Our server stated there was lettuce and tomato in our wrap which they did not put tomatoes in. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and asked if there was blue cheese in it and she stated it was on the side, which there was some in it. They were mediocre wraps; nothing bad but just your average wrap.. while eating our lunch my sister did have a hair in her wrap which they did handle it very professionally.. they comp her meal, they also did advertise that the soup would be $2 added when ordering the lunch special which they charged us full price for ..other than the small issues, we did appreciate the customer service and the owner stopping in to talk to us. He did ask if the music was okay and appreciated our feedback. We will have us stopping in again to try something else on the menu! read more
