AVOID AT ALL COSTS My husband and I downsize to save money for a house so we moved our stuff into this location. We had 2 units here. I started seeing rat poop sporadically. Then all of the sudden there were huge amounts of rat poop and pee and dirt all over our stuff. They are remolding the office so there is nobody to talk to. At this point, it's so disgusting that we decide to move our stuff out. In the process of moving our first unit, we find that the rats have made a nest in the unit with paper and cloth that they have ripped off or torn into. We had 2 couches that were covered in plastic and the rats tore through and were very comfortable sleeping, peeing and pooping on. They chewed on all of our wood furniture. We had to throw away so much stuff. Then we went to move our second unit. This was worse than the first. Not only were there turds, but also lots of rat diarrhea and pee. They pulled the plastic off of my favorite cabinet and chewed on that. But it gets better. We found not one, but TWO dead, decaying rats in that unit. We had no food in either unit. But we did find a dry pasta noodle on the floor which means somebody has food in their unit and these rats are living large. read more

Found myself in a bit of a bind trying to move into a new house and balance a small business that has material coming and going constantly. Went online and found a unit here, paid for it, received confirmation and everything necessary to move in immediately. Took mere minutes. Upon moving stuff into the unit I discovered just how welcoming, accommodating AND helpful the staff are. Most of all, how forgiving they are, as my 12mo old Dogo had escaped the truck and charged directly at the poor clerk who was trying to assist another customer, my dogs hair standing up, teeth bared, growling, cornered her against a building. Normally that would not have ended well for me or the dog. "It's okay" she says as I apologize repeatedly. "No dogs allowed to roam free on the property" she says nervously. We stored our stuff here for 6 years, ever since we lost our apartment and had to move in with my parents. Everyone who works there has been friendly and helpful over the years, but... I can't recommend this place. First of all, rats invaded our unit and pooped on EVERYTHING. They also chewed a bunch of stuff and built a nest in our old couch and got fur all over. It's gross and a lot of things were ruined by the rats, but they're not even the worst part, because there was also a break-in. Someone broke through the back wall of an adjacent unit, busted through the wall into our unit, ransacked the place, and then continued busting their way through the wall into the next unit. We didn't have anything worth stealing, but they dumped all our stuff out onto the floor with the rat poop and left drawers and boxes open to get gross. And besides rat poop, everything was then also covered in bits of the busted-up wall. The break-in happened last October (about 8 months ago), but we just found out now when we decided to come clear out our stuff because the price has gone up too much. They said they called us when the break-in happened and left a message that it was important to call them back. Well, my phone does say I have a missed call from them from last October, but I guess I never checked my messages and totally missed it. So, technically they did the absolute minimum to say they tried to get in contact with us. But no text, no email, nothing in the mail. Presumably because if we'd known, we would have cleared out of there much sooner and stopped paying them hundreds of dollars a month for storing our now broken garbage. :/ read more

I stopped by looking to purchase moving boxes after Raceway Heated storage refused to sell me boxes because I was not a customer and they were on lockdown due to Covid-19. Wendy was professional, friendly and super helpful. She suggested their tape gun was the best and at ten bucks I decided to give it a try. Truly is the best tape gun around. The thing is flawless. I wanted to downsize my unit at public storage. They made the transition painless and convenient allowing me plenty of time to change units.

I'm in the process of moving out of this facility. It's honestly the worst storage ever. Rats in my unit leaving feces everywhere. A homeless person dug through the back concrete wall to break in to units. No one cares about anything. Definitely not worth the $277 they jacked prices up for. Mu stuff is safer under a car port at this point. read more

I rented from public storage while we sold and purchased a house. Wendy was helpful and kind and recognized me when I came around which I appreciated. Our door was replaced while we were here, making the $18 lock I had to purchase obsolete. We were supposed to close on our house on the 2nd. But closing was delayed a week. So moving actually occurred on the 9th. But since we were not out by the 6th we had to pay for the entire amount $177 and it was not prorated which I thought was ridiculous. Another thing is I thought we might have to get a second storage unit so I called Wendy's to find out about specials. She said that we didn't qualify because we were now customers and specials are only for new customers. I won't rent from Public Storage again if I am in need of a unit. read more

The manager Wendy is rude, dishonest, will do anything she can to get her way. I live next to this complex (as well as have a unit with public storage). My husband is a very hard working mechanic who is our families only source of income as I had to quit job in the nursing field after we gave birth to our son 3 months ago, who now has seizures and can not go to daycare. My husband drives a box truck 2-3 x a week home to be on call for emergencies - which we cleared with the owners of our apartment complex & were given specific spots to park that happen to be next in our complex but at the adjoining fence to Public Storage. Wendy has decided that "her" fence at "her home" (she lives on site in the office) has been hit/damaged by his truck when he backs in, yet she has ZERO ACTUAL PROOF. She has called his work dozens upon dozens of times saying he damaged her fence by backing into it. She has also sent emails and now is calling the AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY line to make these false accusations. After over 3 months of this craziness his work is so tired of her almost daily contact with them (although they know its not true as we have showed them pictures and she can produce no evidence) that they may now pull him from the on call position (which is 30-35% of our income) just to stop the calls.The fence in question is old (approx. 10+ yrs), worn, mossy, cracking and leaning over in some spots. She must want a new fence and is trying to use him as her way to get it. I tried to talk to her to no avail - although she was fine allowing me to help her while she called the police on someone for "breaking her bushes" 3 days ago. When she needed me to benefit her I was able to be dealt with. Well now that she knows I'm the "guy in the trucks wife" she will not talk to me. I also rent from this company as does my friend we will both be moving out because if she is allowed to act like this I want nothing to do with this company. The alarms they have here go off for no reason EVERY night and are considered a "Nuisance" as the police has told me when I called to tell them the alarms had been going off for over 10 mins. They said yes ma'am we know.... this happens all the time there. Nice considering I live within 100 ft of the speaker with 2 babies. But do you see me going crazy trying to get her fired?? I just think people thinking about renting should know how this lady works, She will do anything to benefit herself regardless of the repercussions on a family. Sad part is, had she asked we would have figured something out, heck I would have found a way to help her build a fence if that's what she needed, She could have easily come talk to us, she sure could run out as soon as he pulls up to snap her pics, why not just say something. When I moved into my unit last year, a woman by the name of Preshus helped. She was knowledgeable and straight forward, didn't waste my time with stories, or 'sorry's', just told me matter of factly what the policies were. That is something I greatly appreciated. Since then, my lock has been changed without need or permission, and without even attempting to notify me, and whoever the new lady is in the office is beyond annoying. I am moving soon, and as such I am trying to get rid of some of the extra stuff I have in storage, and it seems whenever I come or go I am stuck listening to unnecessary anecdotes. I still think that overall, it's a good, secluded location for a storage unit, so that's why I'm giving it two stars. read more

Found a good deal on a unit there w/ plenty of space. Unit is well protected w/ gating and view to office. The manager Wendy was helpful, not pushy and has remembered me and prior conversations each time I have come in. Feels like old time business (customer first) and old time professionalism. I have met only a few people to measure up to how annoying and nosey this person is. I was given a day off from my boss to clean and organize my storage. I started the task at hand and was not there maybe 2 1/2 or 3 hours tops and wendy shows up telling me I'm not allowed to be on the property more than 30 min. Otherwise it is considered loitering and I will be asked to leave or get off the property. I was frustrated and looked for written proof of what she said knowing it couldn't be because I was paying to store my things here. Well she came back by and I asked for the DM number to report this and all together I must have wasted 2 to 3 hours because of this rude and impolite witch. The day ended with the job not done and I lost my keys in a box which took 45 min to an hour to find. Would not recommend this place. 0 stars or if I could -5 stars, read more
