Don't waste your time going here, showed up at 4pm and they close at 6pm and there's nobody in the office and not a soul around. Tried calling many times and left multiple voicemails and they don't even consider calling you back. I even emailed and 2 days later have received no sort of communication back. Drove here multiple times to see if I could just speak to someone in person and just seems like there is never anyone in the office no matter what time it is. If you want to have a storage place that will ignore your calls, emails and voicemails this is the place! Absolutely worst customer service I've ever seen. I even had to reach out to public storage customer service and they messaged the property manager and still absolutely no call or email back. Save yourself a huge headache and go somewhere else!!! Get someone who can actually run this property and be an adult and can communicate back!! Pretty sad that the corporate office can't even get ahold of their employees. Used this location for our first ever storage rental while moving into a new home. Would not rent from Public Storage again (not just this location). The Good: The app to check in and move in was convenient, as was using the app to unlock the gate. Unit was clean and about what we'd expect. The Bad: *Check-in:* For the most part we didn't have to interact with anyone as we checked in and rented via the app. However on arrival we were having issues with the code we were given and couldnt get into the facility. Had to wait for someone to come around to give us a new code. They had issues getting us a new working code and we went through a cycle of 2-3 code before finally getting it to work. Not sure if it was the employee or their software, but the staff seemed equally flustered. *Check-out:* We "checked out" via the app. Note that check out is in quotes as we later found out, it really doesn't do much. It notifies the staff of your "intent to move out" but it never executes the move out. YOU MUST GO INTO THE OFFICE TO CHECKOUT!. Sure Its nice that it notifies them of the intent to checkout but that really doesnt amount to much. I can intend to move out today. And days can go by and nothing happens. Its like a reminder to yourself more than anything. We found out about this little easter egg 2 weeks later when we were hit with another bill & a late fee. Looking at the app after receving the notice via email, I saw a banner still stating something like "Checkout scheduled for 9/26/2021" which was now about 2 weeks in the past. After calling around and trying to get things figured out, (why hasnt the checkout completed? Why am I getting a bill?) that's when we learned this "checkout" was not actually a checkout and just an "intent to move out". Now we are hit with a ~$200 bill for an extended service we never intended to use and had never utilized, which up until now, thought we had canceled 2 weeks ago. We were able to get through the whole check in process without interacting with anyone, why wouldn't the checkout have been the same. We had to go into the location to checkout and pay these fees and do out checkout 2 weeks later. I'm still not sure why they offer the checkout via the app when it doesn't do anything of value aside from a "notice of intent to move out" which ultimately means absolutely nothing. *Customer Support* It is hard to reach customer support. If you want to reach an employee at the office its somewhat easier though they have to cover a large property so you usually end up on voice mail with a call back later. Calling into their support lines is difficult. Their live chat gave me an answering bot that allowed me to only communicate for renting a new unit or managing an existing unit (which I no longer had). Going through prompts for an existing unit yielded no results and was a dead end as my unit was never found via the auto lookups. I eventually got through to some kind of billing support by going through the options to setup a new unit. All in all, we had an unpleasant experience and wish we would've just gone and paid the few extra bucks to get a rental with a local company rather than public storage. In the end, the app does nothing to simplify the rental process and rather seems to be a means for them to obfuscate the checkout process and skim more profits off the customers who are ending their service with them. Staff seemed friendly from our interactions but its unfortunate that the processes and technology in place seems to provide so much of a negative light on their workplace. read more

I have been a long time rent over 15 years. They increased my rent once in a while. I use auto pay and did not pay attention. In May my rent was 238. When I did my tax last week I found out that they had increased my rent by 35% to 318. I called they said that they would adjust to $258 but would not retroactively make adjustment. The message is: the rent should be $258 but we scam you if you do not pay attention particularly long time customer and autopay read more

I will never use this location again. I reserved and paid for a climate control unit online. We arrived to find what looks to be mold on the walls and the floor filthy. No way I am leaving my items there. They should be ashamed to rent this out. Additionally, they seriously need to upgrade lighting and not a cart to be found. Tried stopping at the office, but no one was there. Tried calling the manager only to go to voicemail. Main Public storage customer service couldn't help, said I need to see the manager. One of the worst places there is. Potholes everywhere, rude people working and lousy customer service. Found a nice, climate controlled place about the same distance from my home for less than half the price. Tried to work something out with Public Storage to make it worth it for me to stay and I was told I was an unintelligent person (there were no other places like that for that price), so I got a truck and left. Everyone else should do the same thing, I got lucky and found Self Storage World. Please, everyone out there, find somewhere else - check to see if you have another place like I did. I walk in yesterday at 5:17pm rushing after work to do this, two customers were there when I walked in. I was asked what I needed by woman behind the counter- I told her I am here to look at two sizes of storage rooms. She replied- "I have these two customers I will not have time to show anything today, can you come back tomorrow?" I looked at my husband and told her I would like like waste my time by coming back. Worst storage facility I have ever used. Mold through out facility. When I told management, I was told to call insurance company. Insurance company wanted me to prove their was water and provide receipts for all items. Mold was from temperature, which I thought was climate controlled. No I have to pay for removal of molded items without any compensation for even the disposal cost. Management could care less where the mold came from or removing it. If you look closely at the doors they have been recently painted to hide the mold. read more

This storage facility keeps raising monthly fees. Fees have gone up $25 a month in a little over a year. In addition, when I lost a key the manager would not accommodate me by cutting off my lock even though I had traveled from out-of-state and was there for only a limited amount of time. I needed a small storage space set up quickly and Kelly the manager was very helpful. Pleasant staff. Some water leaked into my unit after a big rain, however most of my things were in plastic containers so nothing was ruined. I was given some new boxes when I told the staff what happened. Be aware that prices my fluctuate on your unit throughout the year. read more
