I am giving a five star review because of Alexis, the manager on duty today. Our unit had a stuck door. Two weeks ago, another clerk on duty said she would submit a work order to have it fixed. One week ago I checked on the progress. The manager that day was quite knowledgeable about procedures but was filling in for the day. She saw no history of a work order so she submitted one while I was there, also notifying various members of the PS bureaucracy that I've been waiting a week. Today, five days later, I checked again and Alexis said there were repair people on site and she obtained permission for my work order to be handled today. I am so appreciative! My only wish is that this could be a two person office because sometimes the manager needs to lock up for a bit, which means you need to wait for service. read more

Came here because online it said $1 specials. The manager was not helpful at all. I couldn't even hear her speak when asking questions. The only time I was able to hear her speak was when pushing the merchandise. Not happy what happened to public storage. read more

My pet peeve is Customer Service/Care. So, when I receive or observe excellent service from someone I like to recognize them as it is a rarity these days. My son lives in Diamond Bar, CA and we had a need to store his vehicle for a few months. From the time that I called and spoke on the phone to Griselda Everett to the time that I went in to the office to rent a space, she offered Great customer service. She was very knowledgeable and personable. Her personality radiated through her smiling face and when she spoke. She is definitely in the right field of working with customers. My mom who is older is storing at this facility. The manager Griselda and her team are always very kind and patient with her. I am not always available to go with her to her unit and my mom sometimes has a hard time opening her lock because of her arthritis . Griselda and her team always seem happy to help. Stephanie was great. She described all the features and guided me through the whole process quickly in order for me to move-in easily. The best way to accomplish this and replicate my experience is to use express check-in. You can drive-in to your unit and have access to an elevator and secure door. The only thing I wish I had access to was 24/7 access and had the storage units temperature controlled, because it was pretty freezing loading up my stuff, but its pretty much par for the course and next time I'll just bring a jacket. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible! Initially the guy who helped us out was cool, but the manager was rude and not helpful at out in the situation when I moved out. I had paid for a unit for one month on a move in special only planning to keep my stuff in there for 2 weeks between moving. I ended up taking my stuff out after the end of the month with the lock off the unit. I was told that they do lock checks daily so that once our unit was vacant and the lock was off then there was no need to come back into the office. I took the lock off with everything out of our storage. I get a phone call from them saying I owe $180 dollars on my account for the next months rent, I informed them that the lock was off and that I physically had the lock and keys with me, they told me that there was still a lock on the unit. I went to go check myself to see if maybe they had the wrong unit number but not in fact someone else had put a lock on our unit. I went to show them that I had the lock and keys that we took off but they refused to refund me my money because they said that it was "unusual" for something like that to happen. OBVIOUSLY that is unusual but we didn't put the lock on there. They pretty much kept saying we were responsible even if it wasn't our lock pretty much accusing me and my roommate of lying. I even called the supervisor of the manager at that location and she said the same thing and told me she would do the kind act of cutting off the other lock for free when there was a usual charge for that service. Terrible. Four thumbs down for this location and the customer service. read more

She knew what we needed; had a perfect one available and we moved our things in on the same day. The place is clean, secure and perfect for our family. I have had a storage unit here for over 17 years (before it was bought out by Public Storage). I have always chalked up my luck with being able to find someone I. The office to bad timing. HOWEVER...today I finally realized th b.s. that goes on here. I arrived at 2:30 pm and as I drove in I noteced the "Be Back At" sign said 1:45 so I was happy that the office attendant had already taken their lunch. I went to my unit and when I came back at 2:50pm the doors were locked and the sign said Back at 3pm. I decided I would wait the 10 mins. As I was parked IN FRONT OF THE DOOR at exactly 3pm, a hand reached up and moved it to 330 pm. I walked to the door and from inside a voice yelled "IM ON LUNCH!" I said the sign said 3pm and I was waiting I just have a quick question. She yelled back SORRY IM ON LUNCH! I will be leaving this facility and filling a complaint with their corporate office. This place is not cheap (I pay $430 per month) and you can find cheaper places with better service elsewhere. read more

Clean facility. I was helped by Stephanie who was just helping out at this facility and she was very knowledgeable and nice. She made sure I understood everything and took me on a tour of the place. I was able to store my items right away. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that I did have to purchase one of their locks kuz it was the only kind to fit my 5x5 unit, but hey you have to do what you have to do, at least the lock wasn't terribly expensive. However every time I come here to pay a bill or something else there is never anyone here. I understand that they have to show people around the premises or go to break/ lunch but maybe they should have two people working the office and not just one. I waited for about 25 minutes when they put up a sign saying what time they will be back and they didn't return until about 25 minutes after. That's pretty annoying for someone to have to wait. Other people have work and kids and shouldn't be waiting 30 minutes for them to return. read more

I have been renting from this place for the last 15 years and up in till now it's been a great experience no problem moving in no problem moving out. I have moved out usually mid month and they have prorated my rent and it's been great. Since I've been renting here the last two years my rates have gone up twice now again......I am almost paying $ 400 for there 10x10 unit. This is ridiculous I stared out at &250 so I decided to move out. I asked them about prorating my rent since I would be out by 6/5 and they told me that they no longer do that. Well then I might as well move my stuff out very slowly so that I don't pay a whole months rent and free it up so then they try and rent it out to somebody else on a unit that is already paid for. A little advice I suggest if you're going to rent a storage unit go somewhere else that prorates because you never know when you're going to move out and for some reason it's always in the middle of the month. read more
