I don't know how Sue K got so lucky with nice staff but our visit was not positive at all!!!! We walked in and asked about any specials going on and the two ladies behind the counter just chuckled. The one lady began to ask what size we were looking for and proceded to take my mom and I to a 5x10 (i think) toward the back of the building, up the elevator, down the hall with my moms foot is in a cast. She held a clipboard the whole time and I felt like I was in trouble! Anytime I tried to ask her any questions she seemed bothered, and would just flip her papers on the clipboard. I had to literally pull teeth to get any information (like ground level ones and the cost, just different options in general) out of her. NEVER again will I come here!! HORRIBLE SERVICE AND JUST REMEMBER I TOLD YOU SO. read more

I used PS in La Habra for about 2 yrs. There is actually a PS site closer to my home,but the La Habra site stays open till 9pm and that is very convenient. Yesterday I was there till 7:30pm. Everyone was very helpful, esp Matt who helped me out several times. I rented the largest room, 30x10 ft. They use those cylinder locks (you purchase) that are extremely secure. Better than those round locks. The grounds are clean and ample room to load or unload. You can barrow push carts too. There is a restroom on site. I will definitely use the La Habra Public Storage again. read more

This place gave me the biggest headache. Make sure you have your name and spouses name on contract, is all I have to say! Branch manager never returns phone calls unless you have a call in to the regional manager... the incompetence is amazing; the run around you have to do is ridiculous! I went in on one occasion to place my bill on auto pay and it was never taken care of so I had to pay fees on top of that I wanted to have my husband be on contract and they wanted us to vacate the unit before we can sign a new contract. No customer service and the behind the scenes chatter about customers is unprofessional. Take your business elsewhere! read more

The storage location itself was not bad until recently. The management of the locatiob decided to change the access hours from 6 am - 9 pm to 930 am 6 pm for maintenance. After a month and a half of this, employee stated that it was for a security issue. If thats the case - why havent I received a notice? I haven't been able to access my property. I am closing my account. read more

Matt was very accommodating as well as the manager I forget her name but here is a quick run down of my experience. I showed up for my reservation but it turned out I was at the wrong location. Super bummer. Matt looked it up and gave me the correct location address.. Cool But then I'm like I'm here how much is the same 5'x5' unit at this location. It was actually cheaper so I decided to get it there. But then my stuff wouldn't fit in a 5'x5'. And there was only one left that someone had reserved but not claimed. He helped me figure out where else in the area I could find the same deal. But everywhere was way more costly or too far. So he got approval and hooked me up so i didn't have to go to another location. Customer service was amazing. I met the manager the next day and she was just as friendly and accommodating as i needed my code reset. I would def. recommend this public storage they are empathic and listen to their customers. Moving is always a hassle but coming hear made me feel at ease. Janelle was very professional, knowledgable and sweet. She helped me into a very convenient space and genuinely cared about me protecting and securing my belongings. She even showed me how to properly lock my space, I thought that was going above and beyond. She also brought a cart out to me to help with my move. I would definitely store here again. read more

Dishonest business practices! I made a reservation online and when I got there (with a moving truck 45 mins behind me), the unit I reserved was no longer available and the closest one was the same size but on the first floor which was an additional $21 per month! They didn't even tell me about the price change when filling out the paper work. Then they require everyone has insurance on their unit which I understand but that wasn't clear on the website and the lowest price is $11 per month. Thus I am now paying $32 more per month than my online quote. Also the unit is smaller than they say by several inches. I've tried getting them to honor my reserved price and they refuse. I'm looking to move my stuff out. The people on site have all been really nice to me but I don't want to support a company that is dishonest. read more

I was told today they're probably planning on changing their gate hours almost in half to 9:30am-6pm. They changed it to that already "temporarily for maintenance" without notice to their customers. Don't rent here if you have any sort of job that would make that an issue. read more
