AVOID PUBLIC STORAGE AT ALL COSTS!! These people would screw over their own mother to make a buck. The people in the office and customer service are dishonest and deceitful. Give you the wrong information then you get held to the "contract" you "sign". There is no recourse for the employees blatantly lying or giving out misinformation in order to keep YOUR $ in THEIR pocket. Rent increases frequently, new customers get cheaper rates, poor customer service and poor management team that doesn't actually care about the customer. No accountability for giving bad information or empathy. read more

Stay away. Price was great for initial rental. Price hike went up not much longer. Just received a postage that they are now hiking up the price by almost 50 dollars a month. Lmao. Like ok. Small jumps here and there. But for someone to raise the price by almost 50% with 30 days notice not only doesn't make sense. It gives you short notice to get a new location. To get a truck and to move out all your belongings unless you feel like paying an extra 600 a year for absolutely nothing. They are not upgrading. They are not renovating. They are not doing anything except taking peoples money. I'm sure inflation hasn't hit someone who just sits in the office in the ac all day. And i get that they sometimes have to drive around in their golf cart all day. But six hundred for each tenant. I'm sure it's more or less depending on your storage size. But they are now just blatantly disregarding the tenants who cause no issues and pay on time. Time to start looking. If anyone knows any storage in the area please advise. And if I find a place I will gladly share the info. Maybe enough people will leave and get this greedy owner shut down. I hate this company. I have had nothing but poor customer service for the last 4 years of having my unit. Today, I went to my unit and pulled out about 5 items to throw away when a worker named Jocelyn came out yelling at us saying that we could not throw stuff away. I asked where our we supposed to throw stuff away? I pay monthly dues here! I should be able to throw trash out!. She proceeded to lock the dumpster as we had one more item to throw out. Due to this issue, I will be cancelling my services with Public Storage effective immediately. This company treats their customers like petty criminals and I'm disgusted. read more

Do not rent space here. Had our unit for over 7 years, every 6 months continued to increase our rent. Would charge us late fees as automatic payments were coming out of our accounts. They would receive by due date, but would not cash the check. Continued fees and increase in rental space. Asked to speak to a manager for months, she would not reply or return a call or email. Found out they were renting the same size space for $45 less a month. We got a call that they put a lien on our property and when we went to make a payment, we were told all of our items were already auctioned. Heartbroken we lost all of our items with no recovery methods. The customer service is awful. The manager is greedy and has zero idea how to run a business. read more

This is my first time getting a storage unit,I was able to reserve one online fast and easy. After within 30 minutes I go to the facility and was able to get into my storage right away. The lady at the front desk was so helpful,she even helped me set up the App. step by step and use the charger for my phone as it was at 8 percent. Then she helped with getting me boxes that I needed. I used this storage almost a year ago and I still recall how friendly and helpful Irma was. I got the storage unit for a good deal because of Irma's help. I have left a review on Google, and now I could not stop appreciating Irma's kind help. She speaks both English and Spanish, very considerate with customers' needs. The storage unit was very clean when received it. The technology for their gate control is very user friendly, even though is common nowadays. But I still feel grateful to have experience it for my very first time. The office had a store sold carton , tapes, locks with a higher than market price, but they really came in handy. I learned from my marketing class that this is called companion pricing strategy. You receive your storage at discount but pay a little profits for the business's supporting products.I took it as the return for employees' genuine helps. Irma and this facility are fantastic. There are literally public storages all over LA county but this one is one of the cheapest spots in the area and its one of the easiest to access and, again, Irma the on-site manager is easily one of the best customer service people I have ever worked with. She clearly explained everything to us, helped us get the best price, showed us units that would be appropriate for us and helped us get checked in and out quickly and easily. An absolute pleasure to work with. I wish I could bring Irma with us to Pasadena and have her take over the storage facilities closer to us. This facility is also very safe and laid out well. I drove a 24 foot truck in and out of the property easily (and I'm definitely not a pro, ha). Finally, its relatively quiet during the day and we were able to load and unload the units with little interruption. Definitely use these guys! read more

Had our storage units completely cleaned out by 8:00am on Decemeber 1st. Was billed $300 for a full month's rent! When asked how this was fair, I was told that this is the policy and I was welcome to unload my moving truck and re-fill my storage units for the rest of the month. Gee...thanks. They have raised the price on me since I've been with them they have double charged my account and every time I call to see if the second charge is reversed they tell me don't worry about it. They didn't call me back when they said they would so all in all I'd say this is a definite no. I'm keeping my stuff here because I don't want to waste my time in moving it to another place in this 100 degree heat. It would be too much of a hassle.
