Don't bring your stuff to this Public Storage on White Ave. We have been here for almost 5 years, never late on payment and always paid our insurance on time. In February, our unit was broken into. The camera's don't work and the staff were not helpful. We filed a police report and an insurance claim. We had most of the receipts but not all of them. The lock was cut off and they (burglar's) put another lock on my unit, probably to come back and finish the job. They took thousands of dollars of MY stuff. Well after going through all this, the insurance company DENIED MY CLAIM stating "There was no proof that my unit was broken into. Are you kidding me. We feel victimized again. La Verne Public Storage and the Insurance company don't care about your property so go some where else. WE REALLY THINK THIS WAS AN INSIDE JOB. read more

We moved from Reno to California, and during this process things got a little busy. I had to change my appointment time twice and Laurie was super patient and understanding about it. Also, Laurie and Aaron were so much fun to talk to and were quick to helping me get my storage unit quickly. We've been with Public Storage on white in La Verne for about a year-and-a-half. Yesterday we went there are you in it had been broken into somebody had thought through the drywall and then repaired it again stole thousands of dollars of electrical tools and tools that we need to do our job. It was definitely an inside job. There are no active cameras in the back at all. The acting manager there said that the electrical has been out for about a month because of work they were doing behind the building and none of the life came on and all they've been out for at least a month. It is the worst security of any storage unit we have ever rented. We had a police report the police came out and took a report butt there's not much hope of getting the tools back. We're waiting to see the district manager now to see what they are going to do about it but I feel that they're not going to stand behind it. Even though there's security and lighting was all turned off and people could have access to our storage unit without even question. And they don't have proper management there is just acting managers they have no steady person managing it. We would have been just as well off not paying any money and putting it in the middle of the street for people to take.. read more

I wanted to let the public know how this company operates. I called a week ago to get a quote on a storage unit. The lady was pleasant and quoted me a reasonable price. She stated that the first month was free, and the second month was $51.00. That sounded too good to be true, which was correct. I asked if there were any other costs that would be applied. The lady answered "no". When I arrived to view the unit, I was ingirnef5 that I had to purchase a lock. Of ciurse, it wasn't a normal lock. That brought the price up another $25.00. I had to laugh when she said, "Well, the lock is your for life " . It didnt stop there. Then there was the administration fee, which is fine, but why wasn't I told that originally? Here was the cherry on the cake. She takes me back to the office, and tells me that I have to buy insurance. What?? They already have insurance on this property, and I was suppose to buy additional insurance? This is the old bats and switch! I walked away, but wanted to tell the public about this company. I hope others read this so they will not be ripped off by this unethical company. read more

I've never had any problems with this public storage location, until I met Irma who happens to be the on site manager. Despite the fact that she was very rude, she was also very unhelpful. Still waiting for a call back from the owner of this site, still no word and it's been two months. read more

The ladies in the front office are very helpful, great customer services. The grounds are always clean and free of clutter.

I use them every summer for storage while I'm home from college. The staff always remembers me and it's such a pleasure getting my things taken care of in the middle of the madness of finals week and moving out. My friends seem pretty pleased, too, since they always share a unit with me and this isn't exactly the closest location to our school. That says something about why we keep coming back :). read more
