Recently my son passed away unexpectedly. It left me with one month to go through his belongings, pack them and vacate his apartment. Needless to say I was having a hard time dealing with everything but, Joyce, the Unit Manager at the Galaxy Mall Public Storage, was a real angel when I need one most. The facility is secure, conveniently located and clean. The units are very reasonably priced for Las Vegas. Joyce was patient, compassionate and very professional. I will continue to use this company's storage location for a long time to come. read more

The property is filthy. Homeless people clearly living there or loitering the property constantly. The doors for the property are consistently breaking or out of service. One loading cart for the entire property to use. If one needs to borrow another cart they need to do so from a property office that is never open. No consistent property staff on duty. No restroom facilities for property guests to use. Filthy property with abandoned items and trash littered throughout property. Finally...the ridiculous high prices this property wants to charge for such a poorly managed storage facility. read more

This storage is hella trash. Not only is there like no one working there which means the service is almost not even there. I went two days in a row to pay and in both day they weren't open. I don't know if it's a scheme to get people to pay the extra fee for being late but it's not ok. The thing that also bugs me is that they don't even take cash, like what? This is actually the most goofiest piece of business there is. read more

A very easy move-in process. You can do paperwork at the office or you can do e-rental online. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions that I had and followed up by email and calling me to assist me with my rental. You can also purchase a lock right there on site and they have moving supplies as well. All in all and easy move-in process and reasonable rental rates. read more

Where do I begin... recently removed all of their customers personal locks without notice and forced us to buy theirs! ($22.00) This was mandatory and you were locked out of your unit until you paid for it!! No offer of compensation for the destroyed locks either, and I'm sure some were very expensive. Arbitrary rate increases informed via email usually only a few days before the next due date. Customer's restroom has been locked up due to "constant misuse and vandalism" blamed on tenants. I was told by several other tenants (and a former security guard) that the issues were primarily caused by homeless people following tenants in. So now the access door adjacent to the closed restroom is permanently "out of order" And the elevator has been disabled from the loading dock to the second floor... No signs posted with an explanation why or the new procedure to use it (I assume you must have an employee enable it) So now there is only one regular size access door for the entire facility! It appears they even had to buy new smaller (i.e. tiny) carts to fit through the single door. When I asked about using a different restroom (there's got to be more than one in this huge facility right?) I was told to walk over to the mall and use theirs! Now, the mall is directly behind the facility however the actual public entrance is about 30 yards down and then well inside the mall to get to a restroom so I guess you really need to plan ahead to avoid any accidents. So, many of the amenities and convenience features that helped my decision to rent here and-continue pay for-because it's not as if they thought to give even a temporary slight rent reduction to offset the "inconvenience" they have imposed on us. When I was looking up the phone number for my facility on their website I noticed the posted rental rate for my sized unit (10X20) was $105 for online renting, and the "standard rate" was $131. On my next visit to my unit I stopped into the office to inquire about why-since I rented and paid online-and also utilized auto pay, was I being charged $261 (+$15 for the compulsory insurance) per month for the same unit?!! Their employee could not explain it, and said "well sir I don't know what you're looking at" in a disbelieving tone. I'm looking at YOUR WEBSITE AND THIS LOCATION SPECIFICALLY! At that point I realized I had saved a screenshot of the rates on my phone but couldn't show her because I accidentally left it inside my unit and was not allowed to retrieve it...so I ask for a phone number to speak to someone in management authority at a regional/corporate office and I was told that I could send an email to my facility and they will "forward it" to the powers that be. Who's name should I write "Attn. to? Wouldn't say..."we'll just forward it sir" Gee maybe so you can read it, edit it, and cover your a**? Nah...there is so much more to this travesty (yeah, it gets worse... seriously) Full disclosure: My lease was terminated (after a year and a half, with no issues) on the spot because I was "caught sleeping" in my unit. This was not the case as I had a medical event..."sir you refused to respond and ignored our requests to come out, we are terminating your lease" Since I didn't know what happened and was severely disoriented I didn't argue and left the premises. After seeing my doctor the next day to find out what happened to me and visiting the office to explain the situation to the manager,I was told that she wasn't there and informed again that my lease had been terminated and there was nothing she could do. I asked her to call a higher up to speak to so I could explain that I wasn't sleeping- I was unconscious-and therefore unable to respond. None of this was relayed to the person on the phone and after a brief conversation I was again told that my lease was terminated, that I was locked out of my unit until I informed them of what date I'll be removing my belongings and that I have 48 hours from that moment to completely empty my 10X20 unit. Which is in effect actually about 20 hours since they have to remove their lock after 9:30 so that leaves eight hours that day and 12 hours the next day. I could not have the name of the person she spoke with and repeatedly said " I'm sorry I can't help you sir" dismissively. I was not allowed (even with an employee or security guard escort) to retrieve my cell phone, any winter clothing, which is why I had gone there to begin with, and most shockingly my daily medications(!) which I had to get replaced by my pharmacy. this is the worst storage in Las Vegas are so unprofessional very unorganized and literally they are crooks are robbing people for their place of a storage unit that continues to be broken into in vandalized each week your items are not safe there and no shape former fashion. They have the worst security system in their policies to cover up all their negligence that they continually to demonstrate with customers, they act unnecessary late charges to your account add extra late fees charges to your account for things and servicea you don't even receive where do I start at? The elevator does not work there's no other way in or out of the storage, but one way in to the sally port , there's no emergency exits. The elevator doesn't work. The bathrooms are hideous in full of drugs and addicts that the facilities staff does not do anything about them. In the Customer Service, there is so ridiculously bad that they don't do any real service work to help customers or clients with their issues like if I can give this a -4 stars I actually would and I am rising any potential customer waste your time or your money and go to this place you will be very upset about this decision that you made about this Storage I promise you from one good consumer to the next and I'm a honest good customer with them at one point but now I see how they are operating in the type of things they really are behind and I'm willing to file a class action law suit on them if anyone else is having issues like I am and are with me with this thank you please let me know so we can put this in order because they need to go down for all the they are causing an inconvenience to customers read more

1 star because 0 is available. Look at other reviews- this place is dishonest and lacks integrity. I grabbed a unit in March 2024 as I was moving and my new place did not have sufficient room for everything. I received the worst service for 18 months, including a surreal number of price increases (3- started at $57/month, now was over $100). I stayed in contact with Public Storage, including District Manager Marco Martrinez. Their customer services is horrible- on the phone and in person. Joyce and others. I filed an opposition to a lien sale. Last week i contacted Marco to pay the $384 balance my 6/25 email stated to avoid auction. He and Public Storage demanded $540 and he was unwilling to take the $384. They sold my unit for $60. I am outraged by this, the unprofessional behavior by Marco and Public Storage, the lack of customer services. Maryland Parkway space also has countless homeless and questionable activity occuring throughout the premises. I am following up with any legal recourse I have, and contacting the BBB and all consumer protection agencies available. Marco ignored returning my calls on auction day, was dishonest in our communication, and Public Storage was negligent- all concerning. Stay away from this place. read more

This is a large well insulated facility. The first day I got lost and all flustered trying to find my way. The staff was very kind and made sure I found my way to and from my unit. This is a new and very clean facility and they are still working on the signs. Now that I know my way, I am very pleased. It is easy to get in and out and they have carts available for loading. Our unit is well lit and very cool. It is a good value for the space. read more

Very Disappointed , The loading dock is full of trash and sometimes the trash is in the way to park so you have to get out your car and move it first . Everytime I have gone to the storage since I got it in November there is never any folding hand truck or dollys I been having to carry all my heavy boxes one by one or even dragged them inside because some people will have 3 folding hand trucks just for one person . So there isn't enough! read more
