The broke into my storage and stole over 3k worth of items. Not only that it's been a week and never fixed my walls. Not safe at all they broke into during business hours. Also, spoke to district manager Denise Aguirre who was not only rude but not helpful regarding protocol of safety and security. I will not recommend. This storage is clean I been using this Public Storage off & on for 10 years I have not seen one roach or water bugs it's very well kept up. Now they just give it a facelift with freshly painted wall new access code to get in & out this is for your safety and security on your belonging they keep track who going in and out. Believe they now have outside cameras and know who going in and out, your storage space has a alarm in side your door you can see it if you look up once you open your door. If the front security gate is open you go inside with out using your password you can not get out you are stuck inside, so make sure you use your password before going inside the gate. I feel comfortable having my stuff in there storage. Remember you can go as high as you can with your stuff I went up to 8 feet just make sure you have strong containers that wont warp. read more

This place is garbage , our storage was broken into along with 4-6 others By unscrewing the screws and lots of items that we depend on as income was either stolen or damaged after paying almost $700 for 2 storages you would think they would be on it (staff) making sure. Everyone and everything is safe here , not to mention this was done during the day which they gave access to the thief's the staff always walks around "sweeping " as if they are making sure everything is ok but on this day no staff walked around and nothing was really seen on camera ? Come on now seems like an inside job to me , then corporate(Denise )calls us and have the nerve to say oh well what do you want us to do ? What's your solution ? Lol you are the business so you should have a solution !! Not me ! Then Corporate tells us your walls "which are made of dry wall and boards " were repaired within 24-48 hrs which is BS bc they were not until this day . I have been a customer for such a long time. Many many many years. I lost my key and asked for help getting into my storage unit. The lady at the site said they could get someone to cut the lock but couldn't say when it would take place. It could be a week, 2 weeks, whenever they get to it. I asked if I could bring someone to cut it in. She said yes. I had my son cut the lock. He messed up the lock, which I paid for and now I'm being told I'm being kicked out because I violated my lease agreement. Wow doesn't matter how long I've been a customer or how many times. Didn't matter that I paid the fee to replace the lock. They are kicking me out. I can't speak to Loss Prevention or anyone above the area manager because "they don't talk to people". Wow that's not customer service at all. Don't use this company. You won't get any answers. read more

I just got notice of a rent increase of $100.00 dollars, they a claim letter was sent on 2/28 that I did not receive. Customer service put in a request to review, but it was unfortunately like speaking to a wall, no compassion no customer service. What are my options when I have a storage unit filled? If I am late i was warned of a 20% late fee. That is $96,00. Now let me make it clear the staff at this facility is wonderful, courteous and helpful. This is unfortunate. read more

I was scheduled to move my stuff into a 5x5 unit on Friday night. I received the gate code to get onto the property, gate access is open until 9pm, I arrived at 7:30pm to find that the door leading to the hall where all the smaller units are was pad locked. There was no other entrance into that area. I saw lights on and people in the back office area, so I knocked on the window, assuming it was the property manager or a worker. Instead, a half naked guy with his man b**bs hanging out answers the window and starts yelling that he doesn't work there and everyone back there has COVID. What the F***. I attempted to call the property manager several times with no response. This was a MAJOR inconvenience because the buddy I had helping me was only available that evening. So I check the office hours and they state that Saturday the office is open at 9:30am. So I go back Saturday morning, the door to the unit hall is STILL padlocked. I waited outside the office until 10am and no one ever showed. I attempted the property manager AGAIN, still no response. Called corporate, THEY even attempted to contact someone, with no luck. Worst experience I've ever had with a storage facility. I called and cancelled everything since I was never even able to move in. read more

I got a storage at this location but something came up and I didn't need it after all. Only a couple days went by and this company doesn't want to give me a refund for a storage I never used. Public Storage is super shady and the customer services at customer care are rude as hell. For someone who doesn't have money just like that, this one really hurt me. Plus it's the holiday and they wouldn't work with me is completely and utterly bad form. I recommend everyone to boycott Public Storage! If I can give a negative star I would. read more

It's really zero stars since this place likes to rip people off who close their account. You can also add unfair treatment of senior citizens to the criteria. My dad went to close his account and they ended up charging him for a lock that he never even bought there and god knows what else. Plus, the person that was working there at around 2:00 pm told off my dad when he was leaving. So screw this place very much!!!! read more

Extremely dissatisfied. Storage units are very damaged from the inside and unprotected. The walls are literally dry wall and nothing else making it extremely easy to break into from other units. Another reason for the very poor one star rating is the different pricing in person vs online. Representatives do nothing to assist in giving information on different prices. They will literally charge you so much more than their online price advertises. I would advise people to go to Extra Space Storage about an extra mile down into Pico Rivera. Prices are cheaper, lockers are safer and newer, later gate access, and their representatives are extremely helpful. They saved me more time and money! read more
