Always nice and clean - so i never thought to put lids on everyyythijg since i was trying to downsize and move to Florida . I came home after i year Away ... There had a rat infestation aND ALLL OF MY expensive clothing and shoes/heels/boots were Ruined. I had a Louis Vuitton bag in there that got ruined as well. These rats peed and pooped And left dander ALL OVER MY BELONGINGS WITH some sort of dust OR DANDER over every Single thing i own. I live in FLORIDA so i came back just to close my storage unit without knowing all of my thousands or dollars Worth of clothing was ruined (even some louboutins and Louis Vuitton's !!" A It was Thanksgiving week and I only had one day to execute the closing of the storage. We were going to take everything and sell it or take it home... But instead, everything was ruined and needed to be destroyed.. we had a car only with her dog in it, and we could not put all the items in our car because they were contaminated with urine and feces of rays. It was absolutely traumatizing and disgusting . The only help we got was Josh telling us that there was nothing they could do and that our unit needed cleaned out and brushed with a broom clean, even though all the shit poop piss and dander was from the disgusting rats that had invaded . Dirty units unhelpful people would never ever ever recommend although Josh is nice. I'm sure there's just limits to what he can do.

With only a few hours notice the owners of Treelake accommodated my every need. The owners are the nicest people ever. They were very helpful, even with equipment in need of a little repair. The facility is in a beautiful area. Its clean, secure, and monitored. I now have an RV, a car trailer, and a horse trailer stored at their facility. Prices are very reasonable and affordable. The owners treat you like family. I am beyond greatfull and fortunate to have found this storage facility as well as two amazing people. I would recommend Treelake storage to everyone. The property manager contacted me back in May to notify me that they need access to my unit to investigate the source of a smell (read: dead rodent). I do not live in state, so I sent a copy of my key by FedEx, with the agreement he would mail my key back soon after. It has been over a month since I sent my key. I have still not received it and found out yesterday - after calling several times with no answer - the property manager delayed sending my key back and then, a week and a half ago, sent it by regular USPS. Not certified. Not tracked. By regular mail. The key to my unit. It does not take 7+ days for mail to reach me, even by USPS. Essentially, they lost my unit key. No one has followed up with me about their gross negligence.

That stacks up to causing you a single huge debt that they can write off against their profits after they've sold all your valuables to their friends. If you have multiple units and one is late, you're locked out of all of them! This means they can sell all six of my units to pay towards your now enormous mounting debt! DR storage is a predatory scam! Stay away!!!
