Ask for Tracey, at the Cumberland Publix Catering - she does not disappoint!
Kat R.

Have you ever had such amazing customer service that you want to share your experience with the world? Well, I will start with Yelp. I also plan to call the corporate office to compliment Tracey, who is the Catering Consultant at Publix at Paces Ferry Center. I was attending a group event and asked to bring a desert. From the minute I called until I picked up my fall decorated cookie cake, I knew I was in good hands with Tracey. She was on it! She was super helpful, answered all my questions, and called me by name. I went the next day to personally pick up the cookie cake, and there she was! She was so nice, I chatted with her forever. And, the cookie cake was such a hit with the gals at my event! It was only $22.00 and fed a large crowd. Yay! Five Paws Up review for Tracey and Publix Catering. This store is my favorite as well. Shopping really is a pleasure!

Lane and cashier info.

Let's start by saying there is a reason some ware earbuds. Cashiers was extremely rude and told a co worker don't speak to him he has earbuds in. (I understand some come to register on phone etc.)(Don't put everyone in the same boat, some are fighting battles you know nothing about)I proceeded to explain I am 80% deaf in my right ear due to a explosion when I was young. This helps me hear clearly in crowded areas. Second-The lady bagging my things drop them on the floor, and they looked at me as I picked them up off the ground with my hands full. I love eating my food after it has been in the floor... Horrible customer service.

Gross onions

This Publix has by far the WORST produce of any Publix I have ever been to. I left entirely after trying to get onions, Brussels sprouts, lettuce, avocado, and tomato. All of them were brown wilting and moldy. I have had this experience multiple times and it's always a miss. Publix, do better

Deli action

This Publix has been one of my very best experience in the history of shopping at Publix in the globe. They have EVERYTHING. Including prestige customer service and attention. It all started at the deli section. I requested a sandwich with only one other person waiting. Section was not busy at all. My request was simple. To make a sandwich using rye bread Publix brand. At first I was told that it couldn't be done with the Publix rye bread. or I would have to purchase a loaf and then they could make it happen. It was discouraging at first, until I brought my story to the manager Chiana. Chiana introduces me to Lanette who assist in the Deli department. Let me tell you she step up and handled the business. She made a perfectly good sandwich just the way I requested it. And she smiled and chatted with me during the process. Mind you I was very hungry. At the end I thanked her and walked out to pay. On the way to the register Chiana, the manager approached me and said that the sandwich was complimentary. While I was there I did some shopping, made my way to the produce section where I picked out some fresh limes cilantro and red potatoes. All fresh and arranged to find easy. The store is well lit and on every isle there are varieties of each product and its competitor. Lots to choose from in short. The wine section is Amazing. Stocked with commons choices and rare imports this place has what it takes to take things to a new level. Cheese(one of my weaknesses) was stocked with all brands popular to undiscovered; my favorite that they have in stock is "Saint Agur Blue". Best blue cheese on the market imported from France. I plan on making this store my go to market.

Burgers, chili, bolognese? So many possibilities but I'm too tired now to cook

This Publix location is conveniently located near the corner of Cumberland PKY and 285. It was updated a few years ago. They carry major staples but limited healthy options. Publix is the slowest adopter of major grocers to add new items and healthier food options. +. Ambiance is bright, big, clean and busy with nearby residents, professionals who work nearby and travelers stopping off 285 and 75. There's an open sit down resto (self service) next to their Deli that is unique. +. Food-wise, they have all major departments as expected less gelati station. = Flower department is small but fresh and conveniently located as you enter the store +. Cheese has 3 sections - conventional packaged, specialty cheese deli and specialty package behind the cheese deli +. Deli has 4 contiguous area: cold cuts, sandwich counter, prepared sides and hot foods like fried chicken. They also have a self service prepared food bar. + Meat section is large, carries 2 brands of grass- fed beef and a butcher behind the counter. =. Seafood section is small but adjacent is a sushi chef...Fresh rolls + Dry goods is standard American and big...snails pace slowly adding healthier options = Dairy is large but missing and extremely slow to add healthier options. Almost all brands but missed healthier options from those suppliers. No organic pasture raised eggs nor non-soy protein plant based milks. = Produce is large but not the freshest...much prepackaged but does have a small organic section + Pharmacy always has 2 people and are helpful ++ Frozen section is big, well organized and where I buy my veggies and plant based protein burgers + Price is competitive as other majors ++ Service is above average and friendly. Some cashiers are new and provide lip service only and really don't help. However, stockers and people within the departments are very friendly and helpful. + Parking lot is shared with other retailers and can be tight during traffic hours This Publix is suburb sized, high traffic, clean, above average and services socio-economically diverse shoppers. Publix corporate is probably the slowest adopter of food trends so expect well stocked standard but not recent food trend items. MY RATINGS - - - Inhumane - - Disgusted - Don't bother = Missed the Mark + Good ++ Better +++ Edible...where have you been all my life!

Great Publix supermarket. Clean, bright and well stocked. I was amazed at how many of their folks asked me if I needed any assistance.

Crab Avocado.....there was more but I ate it:-)

Got a sub from the deli. The bread was hard as a rock. Obviously day old bread or more. Not what I expect from publix

A trip around the world and a walk down memory lane…read more It's been decades since I stepped foot inside the Buford Highway Farmers Market, and being back felt like a beautiful reunion. The last time I walked these aisles, I was with my mama, Donna Theresa. So much has changed since then, yet the soul of this place remains as vibrant as ever. It feels more expansive than I remember. A true global treasure tucked right here in the city. I'm still obsessed with how they organize the aisles by country. In just one afternoon, I traveled from Korea to Eastern Europe to Central America, no passport required! I was officially "team sample" the moment they offered! Unlike the heavy, sugary profile of traditional American cakes, these were a masterclass in balance. I tried the Neapolitan, a stunning phyllo-layered creation that was light, buttery, and perfectly textured. But the Lemon Cream Cake? It stole the entire show. It looked picture-perfect on the shelf, and the taste was even better. It was so bright, airy, and just the right amount of decadence. Coming back here wasn't just a grocery trip; it was a win for my palate and my heart. Now that I'm back in the area, you can bet this is becoming a regular stop on my rotation. This market routinely…read moresells old/expiring goods because there's too much sh*t in the store to keep up with inventory (see others' reviews). This is by far this market's biggest drawback. I purchased a pack of tofu along with some other items on March 11. I open the fridge a few days later on March 15, finally ready to prepare the tofu, just to see that the exp date on the pack was March 10. This picture was taken March 15 upon this discovery. I meant to update this review a while ago. I just can't spend money here anymore knowing that I'm liable to accidentally purchase old products. As customers, we should not have to be this vigilant at a grocery store... it's ridiculous.

Fruits/vegetables are fresh- in good shape- decently priced. I wish they were a bit more economical but quality is there. There are always deals if you watch for it. Submarine sandwiches- be ready to get in line but good news is- they are awesome! They are large and fresh. Bakery / Seafood/butcher- I rarely use so I can tell you it's there and always has someone ready to help. Publix bargains are BOGO or buy one get one. At first, I didn't think much of this program but over the years- I've really seen the value. Stack a coupon on top of it and really getting a deal. Pharmacy- really nice caring knowledgeable staff. They are always in demand and still take time to talk to answer questions and help. Free garage parking. A block from midtown marta station. They do have a reward coupon option app. Only negative is pharmacy, sandwich, & check out lines are long during rush hour. So, plan ahead to go before or after (5-7pm).
