I love my Publix! Located in the heart of the Gables, it's location can't be beat. It's always nicely stocked and very clean. A bit on the smaller side, compared to some of the newer Publix stores, but not at all cramped. read more

A fairly small Publix one block off Miracle Mile. While it is convenient when I am visiting some of the eateries on The Mile, there is really nothing that attracts me to or detracts me from this location. It is a tad older, but it does have a full parking lot. Anyone that has been to The Mile KNOWS that parking is usually at a premium. They do have the staples I need. read more

Parking is plentiful. Store is well-maintained. Employees are kind and helpful. The produce selection is decent.

This is the Coral Gables downtown/ LeJeune Road Publix. Usually the service here is crap. Good luck ever getting a smile, a greeting, or someone to speak English; however, today I got all of the above, much to my surprise. Don't know if it was a fluke or what, but I was impressed. Now if they can maintain this standard EVERY DAY (consistency is key management) you will get my coveted 4 or 5 star review. read more

Terrible customer service. Today Feb 13th at 4:15pm the 4 employees st the deli preferred to play with each other and were eating samples behind the counter. Watch two customer leave and I asked if I could get help they said they were busy and I had to wait. I waited 22 minutes and left to ask for a manager . They said the manager was not in. The girls at the register said they were sorry but were told to say that. They also said it would be better if I reported to district because the store does nothing. They don't care. The publix on Douglas rd is very good but this one is the worst. Obviously bad management. read more

What a shame. For being in the heart of the Gables this Publix should upkeep better standards when it comes to their buyers purchasing stuff that could actually sell really well in this particular location...starting with specialty items and top notch produce. The Greenwise section is incredibly small and hidden by the bathrooms.... Have you thought that maybe just MAYBE your locals actually would appreciate a little more variety and FRESH organic foods? It's not like we're in Hialeah and just buy canned beans, white rice and trash meat to stew into oblivion... The toiletries and personal items are distributed in completely unrelated isles making your shopping experience an even longer one while weaving through old folks getting walked by their caretakers at a snail's pace. Forget about a quick in and out solution for lunch- not happening! The hot foods area is offensive. Congri, pork and fried crap all day every day..and not even palatable at that. Pretty disgusting, that's why everyone wastes 45+ mins eating mediocre food in the Gables around lunchtime. That and because of the non-existent parking. Try maneuvering through a narrow parking lot of bored stay-at-home moms lollygagging in their massive gas guzzlers while on the phone eating something that starts with an S and rhymes with "twit". I'm only giving this place 2 stars because of their flowers which are pretty decent. Surprisingly better than the other locations. I'm starting to warm up to this Publix. It's not because of the parking, and it's not because I love to sit in traffic on LeJeune after I leave, it's because of the people, the service, and their interesting inventory. Yes, I dabble in organic food and products - and I'm very happy in knowing that this Publix carries a nice selection of them, despite it quaintness. I will make you my bike-to Publix, or my Publix if I'm going by that way, or even my Publix if I'm not rushed to do something else. Because I really like to grocery shop :) read more

I really don't like this publix. It is always crowded and the aisles seem cluttered. I have a hard time finding my groceries in this one.

Instacart made many mistakes in my order but they also charged me $23 more and took it out os my bank account to be held for 5 to 7 days Very poor service . read more

Worst Publix I had ever stepped into, poor management, rude and very disrespectful, was going into this Publix and as soon as I walk in I faced with two very rude and unprofessional managers a mAle and a female that very annoyed with me having to go through the area they were cleaning because it was the only way to go the bathrooms, after I stepped into the bathroom it smelled like a bathroom in a bar that had been pissed all over and the sink was clogged full of dirty water, also they have selected that corner where the bathrooms are as a corner for the app Instacart to stage their products and services (very cramped and very claustrophobic specially with their for sale section being right in the same 20 sq ft area), this is the worse place to do groceries needless to say I left and I plan on trying my best to never come back here again read more

This publix is small but they have a decent variety of essentials. Don't go between 3 and 6. Even though all the checkstands are usually open, there are still long lines. read more

I truly wish this Publix would have more "green wise" selections. They offer some choices (chicken, turkey, sausages, some crackers and veggies) but I still think they could improve on this. However, their managers are very nice. I told the manager once that my favorite crackers (pecan rice thins) were not being sorted and he quickly re-mediated the situation and brought them back within a week. Friendly faces. Nice staff. The deli department has a great and efficient staff. Love the fact that there's always a police officer patrolling the area and the inside of This Publix. read more

Always saw the commercial where the Publix guy walks the lady to her car in a rainstorm with and umbrella and laughed. In Miami that doesn't happen - except for Gino in the LeJeune Road Publix in Coral Gables. Not only did he walk us out with umbrellas (had my two daughters with me too) but covered our groceries so nothing got wet in a torrential rain storm. Loved it! Have changed my Publix to this one store now and shop on days Gino is there. Great service, always with a smile and true to the motto - Shopping is a Pleasure! If I have to do something as mundane as grocery shopping, at least I know I will get great service and a smile from Gino. read more

Very good customer service in the seafood department. Short seafood lady is knowledgeable and helpful.

The parking lot here is cramped as heck, with people parking on top of each other and almost rear ending the cars behind them as they try to pull out of their spot. Customers were honking every 30 seconds while driving down each parking aisle at about 40 mph, looking for anyone who had just put their key in the ignition that they could honk at, lest they dare start backing out of their parking spot. Service was slow, the produce seemed to not be well-stocked, and the hot foods section was lacking, in comparison to other Publix locations. After listening to that honking serenade, I came to two conclusions: one, I will avoid this location at all costs because all that honking gives me a headache and makes me jumpy, and two, the people that shop here are very angry, stressful people that cannot even try to be civilized during the holiday season. I am glad I don't have to make this my usual Publix or I would have to be put on anxiety medication. read more

I want to like this grocery store because it's close and convenient for me, but I've just not had the best experience. I've gotten rotten canned goods, and spoiled chicken that made me sick. Meat selection is pretty terrible especially the fish section. The selection overall of food is okay but not great. read more

This may not necessarily be the closest Publix to us, but we really love the selection and set up of this particular location. Some areas can be a little over-cramped, like the deli, but the staff is friendly and helpful. I also really can appreciate the produce selection. read more

The only reason I'm giving this place two stars is because the staff is friendly and always helpful. Now, let's get on to the quality of food here. What the hell is going on with the organic produce? I always thought this place could do better since it's surrounded by clientele that are probably into buying organic and sustainably raised foods. In fact, a lot of people in the area that I know don't even bother going to this Publix and instead go a few miles away to Whole Foods and a whole bunch more miles away to Pinecrest to Trader Joe's. You are losing clients, Publix. Trust me. For years, they shoved all their organics in the refrigerated section, including potatoes, onions, tomatoes--basically stuff you're not supposed to refrigerate. Then they finally got the message and started separating these items, only to actually CUT DOWN on the amount of organic produce they're selling. So now, the apples are mostly those bagged ones that are always a little mealy and old. They never have tomatoes, potatoes, onions, peppers, and have really cut down on their selection of greens. Let's not even start on the "greenwise" label which means absolutely nothing. Folks, DO NOT buy a greenwise chicken thinking that it's in any way healthier than the typical gmo fed, chemical injected, and tortured little birds that you normally get. All they're doing is stamping "natural" on it, which means NOTHING. Anyway, I have tried, tried to give this place a chance because I am literally next door. What does it say that I am now no longer buying anything in this store, except for milk and the occasional apple that is not gross. Get it together Publix! read more

The place is very friendly and clean, the staff all way from the bag boy to management are the best, but the warm section food for lunch, needs to be better cook. Sometimes it seems that is been prepare in a fast pace just to have it ready for lunch. The rice is horrible and the chicken are so small that don't look like real chicken. But overall is a great place for other stuff. read more

This Publix has the worst customer service in the deli department. And not only did they only have 1 person servicing the counter, they were also rude and very unprofessional. Waited 15 minutes at deli, ordered a meatball sandwich; "so sorry we have no meatball sandwich" well that is why it is there on the menu right? Okay, then went to checkout; Don't ever get in Gino's line!!! He will leave you standing there and go the bathroom or whatever he feels Like doing (which is not helping a customer) Took 30 minutes to get what I didn't want to eat in a dirty little pain in the rear store, priceless.... read more
