I came here to buy lunch. I wanted to get a famous Publix sub but some old ladies working the counter just couldn't get anything done. There were 4 people in front of me and almost 15 min later everyone was still there and they couldn't figure out how to make anything there. Disaster. There is a reason, well, several reasons that I can point directly at to explain the rise of Publix to the very definition of what a supermarket should and could be here in the southeastern United States. First, Publix has amazing customer service. You are continuously greeted by the employees as you walk through the supermarket. They also will address any question or concern you might have. Customer service is just one thing that sets Publix apart. Another thing is their weekly BOGO (buy one, get on free) deals. Every week they have a slew of great deals. We also cannot forget their subs, affectionately known as pub subs. These are great subs. One of my main go to subs their Italian. I also like their roast beef and cheese. My daughter, who is not a huge sandwich fan, even likes their chicken tenders subs. My son, who does like sandwiches, likes their Italian sub, as well. Kind of weird to realize that some of the best subs come from a supermarket, but Publix definitely delivers. Oh, another thing that I am a fan of is the Publix diet iced tea, available over by the deli section. The deli is also pretty impressive. You can get cakes and whatnot, but I really like their bread and they also have pizza dough do that you can make your own homemade pizza. All in all, Publix is a great supermarket and it is my go to supermarket. If you have been to Publix, I am sure you will understand. If you are not familiar with Publix supermarket, try them once and you will be a fan. Publix has come a long way since they began here in Florida. They have expanded throughout the southeast and continue to grow. As I said, I do recommend Publix, definitely the best supermarket around. read more

Greetings everyone, There is an employee at Publix on Pine Ridge and Airport named Princeton, shared he has autism and is also one of the kindest people I have ever come across. He does such a great job when it comes to unloading my cart, bagging groceries and he happily helped me out to the car, he wished me to have a great day and to always smile. Publix did amazing at hiring this amazing, kind and generous 25-year old young man. Everyone should definitely get to know this amazing, young man and is the kindest person I have ever met. I love when he sings in the parking lot, he is excited to sing Christmas carols. Let him teach you a few things about autism and ways to be kind too. I always look forward to seeing him, his singing, kindness and beautiful smile. This Publix location has an awesome deli manager, Chad& customer service representatives specifically, Kollin. Yesterday morning I went on their app to order a last minute platter or tray of food & it said they needed a 24 hour notice for creating the special orders. I had just gotten back in the country the night before & my daughter reminded me she had an end of the year party at 10am the next morning. I called at 8:30am & spoke to Kollin in their customer service who was SUPER friendly who offered to even put the order in for me. But, I had a few extra questions so he put me through to Chad once again, the manager in the deli. Chad said it would be no problem, he made a gorgeous and super delicious tray (photo attached) & said it would be completed by 9:30am for pick up within ONE HOUR! Now, that's effort, that's customer service. He is clearly a kind person, someone who cares, a go getter and in NO WAY lazy like I tend to sadly see so many people behave in what should be their job which they should be proud of. Chad & most of the employees at this particular publix are proud to be there and are prideful in their position. I recently had a lovely experience with the pharmacist & woman there as well & another kind woman I spoke with in customer service as well. If you've had a bad experience at this publix I recommend NOT writing a bad review rather speak to the hiring manager & let them know as I believe the person who does the hiring there is clearly very good at their job & would have no problem taking care of the problem or hiring someone else as amazing as the other employees they've done so well at hiring. This review is for the pharmacy. I've been into the pharmacy at this Publix three times in the last two months. At best the service has been unfriendly. They don't act at all interested in helping you. Today's service was simply rude. And they don't accept the pricing quoted on the Good RX coupons. If they are not going to accept good RX pricing, then they should communicate with good RX that they are not going to participate in their program. Instead, they allow customers to come in thinking they are going to get one price, instead they bait and switch them with another. And to add insult to injury they are surly and rude. read more

Right by the house so we stop by here often. I don't personally get the big deal about Publix....prices higher than average at this grocery store, with the usual items. This one in particular has slower cashiers, but always a helpful person roaming the aisles. Typically more expensive than Sweetbay which I love. Significantly more so. The set up of this one is odd, with the frozens in the middle of the store but I'm sure some mastermind in corporate had big dreams. Clean and has a little deli that makes subs which boast Boars Head (shrug). read more

" Not a problem" This is just for the deli. I've been trying to cut down on my sodium intake, but I love a good sandwich and it's hard to find cold cuts with lower sodium, so I decide to check out the overpriced world of Boars head meats in the deli. I asked the employee do you offer any lower sodium options? He says no as I'm looking at a lower sodium label on one of the turkeys,so I decide I'll just find something in the cold cut isle. I say thank you and as I'm walking away he says "not a problem" I know it's just a phrase, but that is the worst phrase ever to be used in business. I hung out and heard him say it three more times. When ever I here that I always wonder, well at what point will it become a problem, and what problem are you talking about in the first place. Anyways I found one Publix brand smoked turkey in the cold cut isle with low sodium and my sandwich was delicious and it wasn't a problem for me to find it. He he read more

Really bad customer service. No one even says hello. Just moved here from Colorado. Not used to this type of non caring service out here. I will not shop here again. Will go to Trader Joe's. At least they are friendly there. Manager here also is awful. Very unfriendly. read more

I'm finding that this is one of my preferred Publix stores in Naples. So far every time I've been in the hot deli food looks fresh no matter the time. I can't say that for most of the Publix around here. They also have my cold Caribou coffee here which only a couple ofthe stores here have. read more

I understand limiting the horders from over buying but not every family is small, there are many blended families in town. Making a customer go to 2 stores just to buy enough for dinner is ridiculous. It was clear based on the small amount of food I was purchasing that I was only trying to buy enough for tonight's dinner, manager made a poor decision and I am sure not the only customer upset by his decisions. This is a smaller sized store and their produce selection is very poor.

I ordered a birthday cake to be picked up yesterday and they gave me 2 cookie cakes instead of one cooke cake and one regular cake. They told me they would redo it and make me a regular cake, which they did not do. I went to pick it up today hoping I would have got the cake I asked for and ordered, but i received the SAME cookie cake they tried to give me yesterday. What a disappointment. I love publix cakes but after the many incidents with their bakery not producing my cakes how I asked makes me extremely upset. Not even sure I'll buy another cake from publix ‍ read more

This Publix is extremely convenient for us, always clean and i can always find an employee to answer my questions. Their fish is fresh everyday and they will put aside a specific fish for us if you tell them ahead of time. Excellent meat cuts, lots of organic product available too. It's just the best. read more
