Today was my first time visiting Pucci Pets and I'm so glad I did! The shop is cute and has areas for the pets to be in and you can look at them through the window (which if you're a dog lover will do and probably spend a good five minutes admiring the adorable pups there). The owner was incredibly nice and welcoming. Right away I felt that this was a safe place to leave my pet to be bathed, groomed and taken care of. My pup had horribly matted hair because of a sweater he had worn but they took care of it and did not mistreat him in the least. He has no cuts like he's had in the past and he didn't seem scared of the owner after his process although he was a bit nervous at the beginning. If you want a place where you know you'll get a great service for your pets I would definitely recommend Pucci Pets. read more

Where to begin...we moved to the area a year ago and I've been washing our 80lb (feels like 160lbs) doggo at home. He's a rescue and it's hard to leave him with someone he doesn't know so I've just been dealing with the washing myself. Then I found Pucci Pets! (Monica - you are amazing!) Not only did my very shy pup come out very happy, but she cared for his skin and fur (he has dry skin and flakes easily if not washed properly) so well you would think he was bathed 100 times! Monica is a very nice person and definitely gave my dog a great bath. And the products seem to be great. However, I can give my dog a bath and where I really need the help is with trimming her black nails and expressing her anal glands. I dropped her off and she told me she could have her ready in 90 minutes because I had another appointment. When I picked her up, I was in a rush and didn't check her nails but I asked Monica "Just checking that you did her nails and her glands?" And she said "yes". However, when I checked later her nails were still the same length and she still scooted her butt around. I took her to the vet to have her nails done and for them to do her glands and they were full as I suspected. I am very disappointed. If you are going to take my money during a pandemic where money is already tight, please don't lie to me about completing the service. read more

Called for a grooming availability because my normal groomer was unavailable. I was already stressed out and the woman who answered was making it worse by not letting me speak. I asked for availability and she said yes, then she asked if it was a male and if he is outside most of the time and if has has fleas. I said that I am aware of no fleas and he is normally outside but he had a flea collar than someone put on him and I usually put the drops on him and she went on how that is so bad and causes so many deaths for both human and dogs and on and on and I couldnt speak whatsoever. I just wanted to know if you had time not how to make a dog parent feel like shit because they have a flea preventative. Anyways she rambled for 5 minutes about how shitty of a dog parent I am. That was not a good first impression and will probably never call back or recommend anyone unless they wanna feel like crap. read more

Monica asked me if I could stop by, since I live nearby, and when she met my dog, she made room for her, instantly, and gave me a price, No shock at at pick up. Been taking both my frenchie and pug here for months, absolutely LOVE Pucci pets. My frenchie is super hypoallergenic and has very sensitive skin which is why i was always hesitant on taking her to get groomed. Though, Monica does an AMAZING job and she knows how to care for her. Was recommended this groomers for my new puppy by kolony inc on Maclay and loved everything about this place. She had a very friendly attitude and even as a new pet owner informed me of some information and food recommendations I never knew I needed. I came in because my dog was having an allergic reaction to a shampoo I bought and she said she would do her best to take care of it and it might not help right away but once I picked up my puppy he was so happy, so clean, and very well rested as she did put him in a very comfortable section for him to dry off in and ended up falling asleep for about an extra hour. I am looking for a new groomer because my Groomer closed due to Covid so i thought i would try Pucci Grooming again..I have been here before once but it was a while ago. I brought my Shih tzu male under 20 lbs and my Poppillion mix female under 20 lbs. The price was crazy $60 each. I wasn't happy also cuz she kept them for 7 hours. I don't like my Babies staying in a cage that long. This is Sylmar not Beverly Hills come on.. They did a okay job on the haircut but they did smell good but not for $120 for both small dogs.I will not be going here again. read more

For the one star reviewers. It's a small woman run business. Give Monica a break. She's doing the best she can. She gets bit and has to handle aggressive untrained dogs all day long. She's real. She's honest. She's hard working. I made an appointment for Thursday of this week, she called me and asked if I could bring my dog a day earlier. Not a problem. I live pretty close by so it wasn't an issue. I did call her last minute for an appointment earlier this week so I was flexible. I honestly had never taken my dog to the groomers but since Xmas is coming up I thought why not give myself a break from bathing and trimming my pup. It took about 4 hours. I was so anxious I called Monica two hours into it to check in. Lol. My pup was being a lil difficult which made Monica's job a lil harder and that's why she needed more time. When we picked them up, they were happy, bathed (for additional fee), smelled amazing, their fur was soft, and they looked so healthy.
