Victoria blew it hard. First time my hair looked alright, trusted her enough to return--let her colour and fix weft-extensions I shelled out real cash for. She hacked my natural hair to shreds, wrecked those pieces too. Threw them straight in the bin. Fixed it elsewhere for $450 because she refused to help. Blamed me, no refund, then threatening me with a police. She'd phone the cops if I dared speak and leave an honest review. Followed up with personal attacks and personal humiliations. We are not perfect and we do mistakes, but please if you did, dare to manage and try to make your customers happy--stay far from her chair. PS Service by Victoria were done on Tuesday. I was recently gifted a trio of amazing services ~ and what an incredible time I had!! PUCCI's is such beautiful salon ~ upscale, classy, yet very inviting and cozy. My beauty journey began with JESSICA, Esthetician and skin/Lazer specialist, and what a great start! I was transported through a luxurious and serene series of relaxing procedures. Her skilled and gentle technique erased all the tension and stress I'd been carrying for quite some time. And as the session continued, I felt progressively relaxed throughout my entire body. JESSICA is not only professional and intuitive in her care, she is also friendly and warm. She then escorted me to where my hairstylist was stationed, and I met VICTORIA. I wanted to maintain a bit of my former look, yet, was also looking forward to a fresh cut. I appreciated her patience and the time she took to listen to me, and for us to collaborate a bit. Although, ultimately, I trusted her vision and deferred to her creativity and experience. This culminated in a beautiful 'do', a welcomed, yet subtle change, from my hair before. It was beautiful. I went there for 60 units of Botox . Bought a Groupon. Usually I I have results within a few days nope can't tell anything ! I am thinking they didn't either use Botox or it's diluted ! I usually only get 40 units . I drive so far to . Just because it's in Scottsdale don't think it's better ! She did in area not sure why I feel like it just got wasted . Learned my lesson I guess. I have been a longtime client at Pucci and it has always felt like family there. The stylists were happy and in turn making the clients happy. Pucci now has new owners and the effects were immediate! Stylists are leaving, which says a lot! Pucci has changed into a business instead of being a warm and welcoming place to be pampered! New fees and charges were put into effect immediately. There is now a blanket of stress and unhappiness there. No smiles and waves anymore, but you can cut the tension with a knife. I always believed the experience was worth the extra money for me, but not any longer at Pucci! I was there for over four hours because of mis scheduling and I was never offered a drink of any kind. I was in town for my cousin's wedding and needed to do something with the mop on my head. ;-) To be honest, I haven't done much with my hair post pandemic and was admittedly looking funky. Ron really listened to what type of style and look I was interested and gave me a great cut that's easy to do on my own at home. That's no small feat with my busy lifestyle! It's been close to 4 months since my nightmare experience at this salon. My first time at this salon was back in November (2021). And because I didn't know any of the stylists - I let the receptionist refer me a stylist just based on my needs. She chose Matteo to color and cut my hair. Great. Matteo it is. So, my first experience was actually a decent one. He seemed to understand my vision for color and cut. I left happy that I lucked out- I found a stylist that understood the mission. The second visit for touch up and a trim started to show inconsistencies.... Things were close to being 180 degrees different than my first experience. He showed no regard to keep things the same - when I specifically said "let's keep it all the same". But rather changed the color, the application technique (highlights rather than the previous Balayage) and cut. He just did whatever he felt. When he finished my hair- although disappointed that it looked different than the last time- it wasn't horrible and I could live with it. I'll just grow out the eh cut and tweak the color the next time. No biggie.... (This time) Ok, so now we're back for our 3rd time. Same appointment request- touch up balayage, base bump, and a trim. I sit in Matteo's chair and we go over the condition of my hair. I mention it's feeling dry and brittle- he agrees- we talk about maybe tossing in some layers to get rid of some the dead over colored ends. I agree and he goes to the back to mix the color. The 2.5 hour process begins and ends and I'm left with what you see in the pictures below. First the color- He over processed my hair. Plain and Simple..... You could see the breakage immediately- My hair was literally being pulled out with the foils! It's like nothing I've ever seen before!!!! Second the cut- He started the cut wet and then dried it - and then went back and started dry cutting .... no wait- hacking at it - yea that's a better description. He was desperately attempting to give me some kind of lawn mower hack hair cut. I think that was his vision. He did a great job of getting my sides totally uneven- lopsided and chopped up. He over texturized my ends so that it looks like I haven't had a cut in 10 years...... Basically It's a total and utter hot mess. I left disgusted- frustrated- and in tears! It's been 4 months - and I'm still disgusted and pissed at this $300 f***d up haircut/color that Matteo gave me. I'm literally hiding under hats..... trying to grab enough hair to put it up into a pony (there isn't much left to grab).... and now I'm forced to go months and months without color because I'm trying to protect and fix the damaged hair I was left with. I'm having such anxiety about how I'm going to find someone else I can trust to help my hair back to health and get my hair back to some sort of a fashionable style. Pucci Salon - in my opinion - is filled with overly pretentious stylist who think they have what it takes to call themselves "expert stylists" and charge outrageous prices for less than mediocre skills. My suggestion to Matteo- get back into the classroom and brush up on your skills. You shouldn't be behind a chair. I was never reimbursed or offered to be seen by another stylist. Truthfully, even if they did offer for a new stylist to repair the damage - I wouldn't step foot in this place or give them one more $. They can keep their pretentious loafer wearing wannabes like Matteo.... No thanks...! Best of luck to the future clients of Matteos.... Don't say you weren't warned. read more

I have been a client of my stylist, Paco, for over 20 years with Pucci Salon. Paco has curly hair (same as mine and my daughter). All I can say is that he gets it. Having moved to AZ from NYC, I needed to get all new providers and generally was able to quickly find people I was pleased with. Except for my hair color. I went to at least three of the top rated salons in Scottsdale and Phoenix, and despite doing a ton of research ahead of time and digging through Instagram archives thinking I'd found 'the one,' I'd left disappointed and -- frankly -- panicked. Add in the sun out here, and any bad dye job is made that much more obvious. I have long, dark hair and need root touch ups -- a simple procedure that stumped some of the area's 'best colorists.' Not much travel happened during quarantine, but when I did go back East, I braved the pandemic to get my hair done by my old crew. And I took quarantine very seriously. That is how desperate I got. All this to say, I found Ron at this salon, and HALLELUJAH. I feel like I am back in NYC when I am in his chair, and (most importantly) when I look in the mirror after he's done. Ron listened to all of my concerns, especially about the sun, and took me outside after he colored my hair so we could look at the sheen and color cast in natural light together. And I was relieved at how cool and natural it looked! This was the best thing he could have done for me, because until that moment I had been nearly crashing my car whenever I'd leave other area salons and see my roots in my rear-view mirror on the drive home. I was living in a BRASSY HELL. I love living in AZ, but am really tired of my friends back East talking about how services, food, etc there is just 'so much better.' A mistake with highlights turned into quite a strange and hostile situation! I wish the owner would have reached out as I was trying to get in touch with her all day yesterday. I'm new to the area and was hoping to find a new salon!! Overall great cut, and color, stylist was very nice; they even gave me their card and told me if there was ever an issue to call. When I got home I noticed that the ends of the front pieces of my hair had burned and broke off from the blonde highlights I had got. Freaked out, I gave the stylist a call. Didn't go well they got super defensive and told me it didn't happen. What?! I wasn't even calling in a rage, just needed help. The front desk staff directed me to the manager rather than the owner, and he told me to come in the next morning. I went in and it was like a scene of the twilight zone: at first he said he didn't see what I was talking about it (it looked like I had bangs), then he said I'm mistaken, that maybe they were there from before , I stated again, that my hair wasn't like that when I entered the Salon yesterday, he then said, after gaslighting me that I was hallucinating, that breakage and burns are always a risk for highlights, things like this are common and that he was sorry. Infuriating. Just looking for some support, and all the stylist, manager and front desk staff kept saying was that "they couldn't put the hair back on." I was just looking for them to support me and do right by the customer. It was a super hostile and strange situation, it did not have to be. I didn't deserve to be treated like that. They could've kept a customer like me that spent $370 every time they go to the salon- obviously they're good without it. read more

I just recently moved to Scottsdale from California and was referred to this salon by a friend. I have a short pixie and finding someone that knows how to cut short hair can be a challenge. When I called the salon to book an apt. I relayed this information about having someone familiar with pixie cuts to do my hair and without hesitation was made an apt. With Paco. He is amazing! I have gone twice now to see him and both times the cut and color have been great! The salon is beautiful, they sell amazing products if needed, and everyone is very friendly and accommodating. This review is for stylist Shawn Helton. The Salon itself is OK, bustling, energetic client's and stylists. Other comments were made about the reception, I concur, initial greeting and paying/exiting not so cordial. Now on to the five star treatment I receive whenever I get my hair done by Shawn. Shawn is attentive, innovative, creative, skillful and most of all extremely kind! I am candidly selective when it comes to my hair and most stylist do not seem to tolerate this important to me, yet annoying to others trait I have. Shawn was patient and frank with me about my hair requests and concerns and graciously accommodates (tolerates) my fickleness. I am a social worker so that should tell you right there that my budget is tight, yet I am willing to pay Pucci prices in order to get my hair done by Shawn! I was referred to Kayla by a mutual friend and had a consultation for having my three quadruple wefts that were sewn in moved up. She said that she had taken a master extension class and was well versed in all types of extensions... That might have been the case however she neglected to tell me that she had never actually had done these extensions my first clue was when she told me that she was going to Google and YouTube the best way to do it. It took her 5 hours for the whole process which should normally only take at Max 2 hours. she's extremely heavy-handed and was hurting me the entire time and I let her know that I have a sensitive scalp but that didn't seem to bother her she also placed the bottom row so low on the nape of my neck that my head was burning and I later had to return a couple days later to have the whole row taken out and put back in higher. A couple weeks afterwards I noticed that part of the extension on the right side had come unsown so I went in for her to fix it. She said she needed to remove the whole row and I said I don't have time for that just fix the part that needs to be fixed and she said okay so she went in and sewed and sewed in between wefts pulled hair through the sewing and sent me on my way I'm pronounced to me that it was done in properly. When I get my next blow out a few days later because of her poor sewing when my hair is washed it causes a massive dread where she had improperly sewed. I called my regular hair stylist in Huntington Beach on video chat and she told me that the hair was ruined and that it needed to be taken out the whole row there was no saving it. I contacted Kayla to let her know what was going on and she expressed extreme regrets and sorrow and so that she would do whatever she could to make things right and pay whatever. I didn't respond for several hours and when I did I told her how much I appreciated that she took responsibility and accountability for her actions and then I thought that she needed to learn how to communicate in a better fashion if she would have told me that she didn't know how to do it I would have had someone else or I would have came back to have her take out the whole row. I contact the salon owner since Kayla was uncooperative once I told her how much it was going to cost for this to be corrected. The owner was extremely hostile, combative and when I spoke with her she said she already knew the story... I said how can you know the story when you haven't even spoken to me and you haven't seen the photos of what was done to my hair she offered me $250 and tried to send me on my way I said I will email her photos and we emailed back and forth a little bit. I told her how unacceptable it was when she was offering and that I had to have my extensions replaced and that I know she has insurance as a salon owner and if she wasn't willing to pay out of pocket then she would need to use her insurance. She had her husband contact me he called very hostile and threatening saying that he heard that I had a problem. I told him I wasn't available to talk and to call me later in the evening which he did he told me he wasn't going to have a screaming match and I said that is extremely unprofessional and I would never scream he then proceeded to tell me that 250 was all that would be offered and that he was going to tell me what was going to happen next over and over again and then I hung up on him. They have been a nightmare to work with they are so unprofessional, hostile and think that they can bully their clients that is not the case with me I will see them in court. read more

This is the second time I have tried going to Pucci salon because it's convenient. First time had a haircut which was a mess! Thought I will give it another try and see how it goes, this time I had a one solid all over color. The colorist didn't apply any barrier to prevent the dye from dripping all over my forehead. After the hair dye was shampooed out I had a thick band of color masked around my forehead, ears and back of my neck. She started vigorously rubbing it off, the dye was not coming off and left a ridiculous rim around my face. My hair is pitch black, when I had asked for a medium brown tone.
