First of all, the gentleman that answered the phone I'm pretty sure his name was Leo, was very nice and helpful. He made explaining the problem very easy for me. He told me a plumber (Jonah) would be heading my way in about an hour. After an hour Jonah arrived and was super helpful from the start. We called kind of late but only to schedule a repair the next day. They answered and we were able to schedule a repair to a clogged tub line in our house. We received an email confirmation of the date and time. The guy showed up early which was a pleasant surprise. He was friendly, clean and professional, with a sense of humor. A sense of humor is always welcomed. He did a great job by repairing the problem with minimal intrusion to our home, explaining what was going on and what to expect with our plumbing the way it is situated on our home. He did explain his charges before he started. He did state the 1st our charge and any other charges that may apply. He was on this job for about 45 min. We were charged for more than an hour (less than 2). If we were charged as he mentioned I would have given him a good tip. But since it was more than an hour, we did not tip. Big, big, big Mahalo Leo & Josh. Called 10 am Sunday Thanksgivings Day weekend for a backed up drain. Leo was great and got hold of Josh who got out to us around 1:30 pm. Which I think is pretty good for a weekend trouble call. The email confirmation was helpful. Took about an hour to get the line cleared. Damn diaper wipes!!!! Josh was extremely professional and friendly. After clearing the line Josh ran the camera to verify that the line was clean. Hopefully we won't need to go through that again, but if we do, I know who to call. read more

The service and response time is always great with Pueo. We first used them for what we initially thought was just a clog on New Year's Eve. It turned out that our piping that connected our house to the mainline sewer got backed up and so all of our showers and toilets started getting backed up as well. Dakota and Glenn were super helpful in helping to figure out what exactly needed to get done. They were super informative, gave us explanations of everything they did to identify where the backup was, and ultimately got all our bathrooms back in working order! Called them up again recently when one of our showers needed an unclogging (thankfully JUST an unclogging this time), and Glenn was able to come the same morning. I don't usually frequent Yelp but I believe a 5 star review is in order. Glenn arrived early, he called after he finished his previous job early and asked about an earlier visit. Yes siree! He cleaned a clogged tub, removed a broken pop up rod in the drain and caught (then repaired) a runny toilet we had overlooked for probably months, a new flap did the trick. He was thorough and professional and very knowledgeable. I like when repair guys explain the problem in laymen's terms. He double checked all the sinks and toilets just to be sure and was on his way. We were very pleased by the services performed by Pueo Plumbing. We had hot water issues and lukewarm showers made it a priority to find a plumber stat. After reviewing other companies on Yelp we selected Pueo based on their great reviews and we were not disappointed. I contacted Jennifer on a Tuesday and she scheduled Cole to stop by that evening-really awesome! The estimate was competitive as we needed a hot water heater replaced, water pressure line replaced and a leaky water line for our Washer changed-and they were able to come the next evening! Last night, after dinner, our kitchen sink began to back-up and developed a leak. The repairs were beyond our capabilities. I found Pueo Plumbing from their great reviews and called after hours. I spoke with Leo who asked for more details about the plumbing issues and said that he would get back to me right away. True to his word, he called back and said that he would send someone over the next day between 10 am - 12 pm. I received a confirmation of the appointment immediately via email. Glenn arrived just after 10 am and got to work replacing the corroded pipes under the sink and cleaned out the clog with great efficiency. I also asked if he would be able to repair the flush valve for our Kohler W/C and that got repaired quickly. The pricing is fair, and we are pleased with the work completed today. I had a toilet leak at the base of the toilet. Google indicated likely a wax ring failure. Louis came out, very friendly and helpful. He did it all in 1/2 hour, including an unappealing clean of of much accumulated "material" under the base. Great job, knowledgeable and he provded good advice going forward. Highly recommend these guys. Thursday was hell at the restaurant. All sewer lines backed up and we couldn't use the water. Called Rotor Rooter and the guy said they would come in an hour. Called 2 hours later and they said an hour. Called at 9pm and they said the guy came but couldn't find it so left. I called yesterday to schedule an appointment. The process was quick to get it scheduled. I called another company and they were having me give so much of my info before they could even tell me when they had an opening so I called Pueo. Two guys came this morning right in the beginning of the window they had scheduled (8am-10am) and were both very pleasant. I told them what the problem was (we occasionally heard dripping in the wall downstairs when the dishwasher ran) and they were able to conclude by doing a couple of quick checks that there was no evidence of a leak anywhere. I appreciate that their honesty that no work was needed and with a free estimate also. I would definitely call them in the future if something else happens. read more

04/2017-Had a leak from the upstairs bathroom to downstairs. Didn't hesitate or even think of another plumber-called Josh, Pueo Plumbing!! Once again Pueo Plumbing did not disappoint! On time service, knowledgeable staff, excellent repair work, good price and most importantly, very trustworthy!!! Thank you again Josh and staff! 2016--We had a brand new toilet that had clogged twice within a 3 week period. My husband pulled the toilet and cleared the clog. There was still a little water in the drain so we asked for quotes to have a drain camera used to see what was causing the problem. We received a lot of quotes that included more services than what we needed. Josh was quick to respond and gave us a quote for exactly what we asked. He offered to change his schedule so he could come out that evening - how awesome is that!! We didn't need him right away so scheduled an appointment the next day. Josh showed up on time, met with my husband to get all the details and went to work. 20ft down the line he hit a snag. The camera couldn't go any further. He let us know right away and what the extra cost would be. After clearing the line of sludge and build up (older home), he was able to run the camera all the way through. Success! Called Pueo on Wednesday, Dec. 22, approx 9:15 am (?). Problem was a stuck drain/or toilet in a rental house in Hawaii Kai. I told the dispatcher the problem and that I was the owner, gave her my name and billing address, and that the tenant is a foreign national whose english is not the best, so the husband wanted to know when the plumber would arrive so he could be there. They emailed me the approximate time of arrival quickly (11:30-noon) which was good. That afternoon they emailed the bill and I sent a check immediately, as I knew the mail carrier was coming soon. But I did NOT notice that it said "paid by master card". The next day the tenant texted me asking why he was asked for his credit card - wouldn't start work till he provided this. He paid the amount, but the plumber did not give him a receipt, and told him that the receipt would be emailed. He figured that they knew my email address, so left it at that. He did say that they did good job. I have no problem with the work, but there should NOT have been any misunderstanding about who was responsible for the bill. The tenant is now concerned about why this happened, and I am totally embarrassed about him being being made to pay for the job. I called Pueo this morning (December 24) and was told they are on a holiday schedule, which I understand, and I would have to wait till next Monday for an answer as to why this happened, and if they can cancel the charge to my tenant's master card. My mistake on not noticing the "paid by master card" but I was intent on paying the bill immediately. This is an update to the above: This afternoon, Manager Mike A. called since my question/complaint this morning was forwarded to him. He checked the order I made and apologized for the error and miscommunication to the plumber. He couldn't explain how the plumber did not get the billing instructions, but said that he would rebate my tenant, which was most important to me. I want to now re-rate Pueo Plumbing with 5 stars, instead of my original 3. I appreciate their quick follow-thru to resolve this. read more

Cole and Dakota did a great job of replacing the old broken cast iron pipes with pvc ones as well as the aging valves and connections for the kitchen. They did a fantastic removal of the old kitchen cabinets as we are waiting for the new ones to be installed. Awesome and quick service. This is as good as it gets when it comes to professionalism. They came to our home a few months ago to clean our main drain out line. It was backed up so we could not flush the toilets, shower, or run the water without the water properly draining. It was an emergency job. We called them around 9pm on a weekday and luckily they were just finishing another job and were able to arrive within the hour. Absolute lifesavers. They sent a camera down our pipes to find the culprit blocking our main line and was able to solve the problem. They even had us flush the lines (run the water) for a while to make sure it was draining properly before we left. We were so happy with their service, we contracted them to rerun our main water lines from the shut off valve to our home all throughout our bathrooms, kitchen and washroom. Our existing pipes were galvanized and deteriorating, so they run copper. It was a massive 4 day job. They were able to hide most of the copper pipes using our attic. The workers were very courteous, respectful and honest. We mainly dealt with Cole, the lead plumber onsite. He always provided us status updates and was very patient with our very old home. We are happy with their service and would definitely recommend Cole and Pueu Plumbing. read more

I've used Pueo many times, most recently for a very major project involving replacing the drainage pipes in our concrete slap and in our yard out to the sidewalk. Pueo had to dig a 2.5 ft deep and 1.5 ft wide trench in our house thru concrete from our laundry room, thru our bathroom, to the outside, thru the yard, and to the sidewalk. our entire bathroom required demolishing and being rebuilt from scratch. I just used Pueo Plumbing yesterday as we have a continuous issue with our drain and the plumber that I usually use could not get to our house until the next day. I must say that Pueo is one of the most professional companies in that they were constantly contacting me and letting me know when the plumber would be at my house. I'm super pleased with Pueo Plumbing! This has, without a doubt, been the best experience we've had while working with a plumbing company and we've worked with a lot of companies over the years. Our church in Kailua had a clogged toilet that we couldn't unplug or fix for days! It overflowed a few times and we tried to plunge, dislodge, and snake the toilet ourselves but the usual tricks didn't work.. The usual company that we call wasn't available till the following day so we called Pueo Plumbing. They came out within 30 minutes with the proper equipment and knowledge to get our toilet fixed right away at a lower cost estimate than our previous plumber. The plumber Louis was professional and friendly. He removed the item that had gotten stuck in a hard-to-reach spot of our piping quickly and he left our bathroom stall spotless.
