Is the menu only prix fixe, or is there also an a la carte menu? I don't eat meat, but I do eat seafood and vegetarian. Thanks!

When we went it was prix fix only! Everyone gets the same thing.

I've tried to call so many times throughout the week. Has anyone been able to get through on the phone?

Hey! Sorry that's happening to you. I have never called but have you tried calling after about 5:30pm and/or during business hours? I don't know for sure if they'll answer then but that would be suggestion, other than that I don't know! I will say… Read more

What if you have food allergies such as shellfish, will they accommodate?

Yes. The owner stops by each table to check for any allergies/issues.

How much is the prix fixe meal on weekends?

    59 per person

Is there any sort of dress code? My wife and I will be walking for other activities and don't want to have to change out of casual clothes.

No dress code. It's the type of place where shorts/jeans are fine, but if you like to dress up you wont feel out of place. And remember to byob/w!

How do I make a reservation? I've called 4 times and it goes to a Verizon messaging service.

I phoned and left a message. Owner returned my call. It's definitely worth the aggravation!

This new location is spacious, clean, and has great food. I got the quarter chicken platter with white meat, brussel sprouts, and yucca fries. Each platter comes with sides and each side looks so good you'll definitely have a hard time deciding. I also got some green sauce and white sauce too. The chicken was super flavorful, moist, and fell right off the bone. It was sooo good! The brussels had a surprising kick to them and were nice and tender. The yucca fries took an extra few minutes to come out since they were frying them up fresh for us and it was worth the wait! They have several locations but the food doesn't taste like a chain, if you know what I mean. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone craving some delicious Peruvian style chicken.

Oh and I also got plantains (which they initially forgot but thankfully I checked the bag before I left.) Bf liked his bowl. He's been here a couple of times before and always enjoys. This was my first time and might have to head on back to chipotle lol. Which sucks because I wanted authentic Hispanic food. The flavors were somewhat there. The plantain wasn't ripe!!! How does one fry unripe plantain :-( :-( :-( I might, key word MIGHT, try again.

We didn't get a chance to come for her birthday but instead, came for our wedding anniversary. We've brought family here on special occasions, celebrate my wife's birthday three years ago, have come for happy hour and we've always enjoyed the food here. It was no different this time. I absolutely loved the patacón salvaje which we've never tried before. They use cornmeal to coat the calamari so it is naturally gluten-free, which my wife was able to eat. Also, their Caesar salad was delicious. The bar was set high from our first two courses. I wanted a second order of the fried calamari but we had a steak coming. We were warned about the restaurant being short staffed on Sunday, since we told the hostess that we tried making a reservation through Resy, but nothing was available until Wednesday, which the hostess found odd. Because they were short staffed, things took longer than usual, and our food came out really slowly, but that was a communication issue with the waiter. We saw tables around us who ordered after us get their food first, but we appreciated the waiter who chdecked in on us realizing it was unusual that we've been sitting for a while without any food. The food was worth the wait though. Although the steak was good, and the yucca that came with it plus the sauces, I feel like it wasn't as special or outstanding as the first two dishes. We asked for the steak to be cooked medium, but there were parts of the NY strip that looked a bit rare. We also ordered dessert, the Cacao+ and they also brought out two glasses of non-alcoholic Prosecco which were all on the house. We will definitely be back, especially finding out that Happy Hour runs all day on Sundays.

We had to get an early reservation as they were fully booked at dinner time. The food was just okay: the appetizer with the plantain and fried calamari was okay, it lacked a little bit of dimension and was too acid forward (needed more salt to balance it). The main was the "olleta" which is a vegetarian meal; it wasn't exactly memorable. It has an incredible amount of olives and capers and not enough tofu/plaintain/mushrooms. It was also very acid forward and lacked layers/balance to the flavor. Lastly, we tried two desserts: the flan (I believe it was called quesillo) and the chocolate one. I LOVED the flan with the foam on top, and the chocolate one was towards the bitter side (which was pretty good) but I wouldn't get it again. The desserts were very overpriced for the size of it. The place is well maintained and I love the plants all around. I would like to give it another try as I like to support my fellow Latinos

Now I am wishing I would have grabbed more stuff to reheat and have the next day and/or gotten there with time to sit and enjoy the food but life, so here we are. Also ordered their fanesca as it is Holy Week... I will update when I warm that up and have it for lunch or dinner. One point on the fanesca they do not serve it with the little empanadas unfortunately or at least not with a to go order. Update: so I did have half of the fanesca for lunch, popped it in the microwave for 2:30 and it was piping hot and delicious! Had the 12 grains, cod, and came with the typical garnishes that I added to the top as I plated it at home. Fanesca!! Really good and with most of the typical garnishes: parsley, cheese, boiled egg, maduro (fried sweet plantain) and avocado. Just missing the small cheese flour empanadas as a garnish, but still amazing flavor! 10/10 The portion is plenty I am having the rest of it for dinner! Definitely give this place a shot if for nothing else the food as a to go option if you don't have the time or patience to look for parking.
