Wow, most expensive salads we have ever had. Takeout. $35 each. Website menu was outdated because when we got ready to pay for the salads they were each ~$10.00 more than website menu. Adding to the insult was that the salads were very small. Very disappointing. My favorite microbrew in the Silverthorne/Dillon area with not as many tourists compared to Dam Brewery & Bakers. Had the Black & Blue burger and it hit the spot after a long dayhike for me. While I was only here for happy hour, I was pleasantly surprised. The drinks (gin & tonic and the morning wood wheat) were straightforward, but good and the service at the bar was amazing. My bartender even remembered my request for extra limes on my second G&T! So kind! We ordered the shishito peppers off of the happy hour appetizer menu ($8 vs $11 on happy hour, between 2pm and 6pm). I didn't realize they would come doused in a soy sauce-like sauce. I wa expecting more of a classic, grilled peppers dish. Either way, I thought they were yummy! Came here for a bite after a long day of skiing, A bite and a brew is what I was foreseeing. The environment lacked some adequate lighting, But on we went with the meal, the day was just so exciting. The staff was friendly - our waiter, almost to a fault, He seemed to demean every item on the menu if it wasn't out of the "Today's Special's" Vault. He seemed so excited about the French Dip with mashed potatoes, I wish I'd only known it would cause hours of vomiting tornadoes. He did such a good job with his positive descriptions, It made 3 of the 8 of us believe we needed French dip prescriptions. So off we went and we ordered our food, French Dip for me, some soup for those who couldn't be skewed. When we asked how big the bowl of soup would be, The waiter responded "about 1.5x the cup I foresee" But the waiter was wrong for when the cup and bowl came out, The soup was eaten as we all tried to hold back our doubt. With the help of some water, the cup of soup was measured, The bowl eaters paid much more for the same amount of soup that the cup slurpers treasured. Now I'd say that Pug Ryan's may have tainted my night, When the French Dip caused my toilet and neighbors a great big fright, But the truth of the matter is this place was pretty good, Had a nice time with friends, despite the French Dip that I wouldn't have gotten again if I could. read more

Fantastic brewery in downtown Dillon! Our server was fast, friendly, and very accommodating to our group. I had the tacos that were served beautifully and tasted so fresh! I went here after a local recommend the joint. It's a brewery so they have a great beer option. Also if you check into Yelp you get a coupon for $1 glass of their house made beer. The food was great. I tasted their bbq ribs and I would say that is the best thing to order. The bbq sauce is tangy yet sweet. I ordered their cheese steak sub. I didn't think it was very good. So I would skip that dish. Their sandwiches come with fresh cut fries. I think their fries are delicious. I would start off with their chicken wings. It come with about 10 wings for like ten bucks. We arrived before 6:00 PM before the happy hour cutoff and order a couple of pints and an appetizer. The waitress said we were fine for happy hour prices. We then ordered meals. The food was good. We noticed on our bill that we were not give the happy hour discount. The waitress said she would check with the manager, and came back and said we were we charged correct amount and that the beers were normally $9 and $7 was the happy hour price. Overcharged on the appetizer too. On the way home we checked their website and found that the waitress HAD LIED TO US. Normal price was $7 and happy hour was $5. On an over $120 bill, they felt the need to cheat us out of several dollars. What a crappy way to treat your customers! They should be ashamed of themselves! read more

It was a busy night but folks were always coming by to check on drinks, fill waters, and remove plates. This was our first time at Pug Ryan's Brewery and it was nothing less than AMAZING!! First off--there was 11 of us and we got seated right away which was great. We have a soy allergy and Sam went above and beyond to help us find something--he checked everything for us and even hand cooked the food so it would be 100% soy free. There aren't too many breweries that also have amazing food. So, based on the ratio of pros to cons, you can see my initial expectations were met. Loved this pub so much we came twice during a three day stay in Dillon. The music and vibe were fun and energetic, the tables spaced far enough apart that you couldn't hear your neighbors' conversations, and the beer and food were delicious. The vegetarian harvest pie (a veggie version of shepherds pie) was to die for. The service was also terrific - we had two great servers who were super friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. And it was only a couple of blocks from our hotel so we didn't even need to move the car. A winner! read more

Overall really good experience here! I came here on a Saturday afternoon in late January with 2 friends for some brews and noshes. We were told it was a 15-30min wait but turned out to be more like 10 minutes! We started with beers-the Amber Ale and Classic IPA were all very tasty and easy to drink. I got both the Classic IPA and the 20th anniversary one-loved that the hops of the 20th Anniversary beer hit at the end. Our server was very accommodating by letting my friend sample a few different taps before deciding on which pint. We also shared 3 appetizers which were all well done! I didn't have too high of expectations for food because it seemed like a general menu but everything was tasty and hot when arrived at the table. We ordered the potato wedges, spinach dip, and the mushrooms (I especially loved the flavor of the mushrooms). Would recommend all of those to start off and really generous portions which made it great for sharing for lunch. YUM!! The lodge feel made it feel warm and comfortable.
