Although they were very helpful for the party, this tip is ridiculous. They can't do math.
    R S.

We recently hosted a party at Pump It Up. We were a very taken aback by the gratuity guidance. Our total bill was $840, and we were told that a 12% tip should be $188.21, which is actually almost 23%!! Also, while the pizza was good, the veggie and fruit platters were just okay--not quite as fresh or plentiful as we expected for the price. The staff was kind, helpful, and very attentive. They helped cut and serve the cake, handled the food smoothly, and kept everything organized, which we really appreciated. The kids had a great time and the pizza was pretty good.

Rotten salad that they served us at the party.

Just had a birthday party for my son today. I usually love Pump It Up, but this location was a really disappointing experience compared to other branches. The staff here were way too strict, to the point where it affected the kids' experience. We had one child with a milk allergy who couldn't eat the pizza that was provided, and we brought a small snack just for that child so they wouldn't be left out. Even after explaining the situation, the staff refused to let that one kid have their own snack and told us that if we "broke the rule," we'd be charged an extra $250. That felt completely unreasonable and insensitive. On top of that, the food they served wasn't fresh. We ordered an extra side salad and fruit, and our guests complained that the salad was rotten. We told the staff, and although they removed the charge, it still shouldn't have happened in the first place. Another thing that really surprised us was at the end of the party -- the staff were collecting every single balloon from the balloon drop so they could reuse them. The kids were disappointed because they thought they could take one home. It honestly felt like they were cutting costs everywhere while still raising fees. And honestly, for more than $1,000 for a kids' birthday party, I expected much better. Overall, we were not impressed at all and would not recommend this location. The Pump It Up in Santa Clara is much better -- the staff there are more involved, friendlier, organized, and actually make the celebration feel special. Unfortunately, this location was the complete opposite.

we came in for an open jump planning to let our 1 year old roam and crawl freely. i didn't realize they had soft play blocks for her to climb on, which was such a nice surprise. i was also impressed with how clean the floor was. definitely our new go-to place for raining days. one thing to note is that the staff isn't responsible for watching your children (just like anywhere else). i do wish they offered a 2 & under open jump time to help prevent older kids from accidentally knocking over the little ones. (hopefully someone actually sees & takes note of this) we will be returning though!

My little love with her beautiful birthday decorations in Pump it up San Jose

My little five girl Amy was so happy with her birthday party at Pump it Up. The glow jumping in the dark was so wonderful and every kid loved it! At the beginning, the staff explained the safety rule . Then all the friends cheered with the birthday kid before entering the room. There were two play rooms there. The first one was regular light and the very very long slide was the most popular. The second room was glow dark room and the kids enjoyed this kind of mysterious environment. After the all time playing with different kinds of trampolines, it came the delicious food. Their pizza and chicken wings were so delicious. Different flavors of drinks you can choose. We love lemonade best. And we brought our own birthday cake and they can help to keep in their refrigerator. Birthday song, birthday cake, and birthday goodie bags... Two hours full of fun time! Perfect! Laila and her team members can help the parents to take care of all the party preparations. Before the party, they called to double confirm and were very responsible and helpful during the whole party! Thanks to you all!

First visit to a Pump It Up for GK#2's 6th Birthday Party. Sam was our Party host and he did a great job. Located in a strip mall, the facility appears clean and well maintained. The bouncy castles are in good shape without obvious wear. Like a party assembly line, the kids gathered in the lobby, where the safety rules were discussed then the kids and adults were schlepped into the first playroom with3 large bouncy castles. After about 35-40 mins the party moved to a 2nd playroom with 3 other bouncy play structure's and a balloon drop. Balloon drop proved to be popular. After a group picture, the group moved to the party room where birthday treats were served. Well organized. Employees were friendly and kind to the kids. On the pricier side, but not totally out of line with other birthday venues in the area.

Pump It Up is age appropriate for 3 years old. The best way to experience it for the first time is by attending an open play session on a school day ie. not a holiday ( less kids ). Pls check Pump It Up event calendar for Open play sessions

Really enjoy the dedicated time (8am-10am) for younger kids (6 and under). It allows them the freedom to play without being bulldozed by bigger kids. The facility itself is large, parking is easy, and there are plenty of attractions that keep students entertained. The kids especially enjoyed the variety of jumping areas, the small arcade, and the snack shop. Unfortunately, this year's experience was filled with several organizational issues. We were told we could enter at 9:00 AM, but when we arrived, the facility was still closed. Standing outside with 45 excited students waiting to get in and another bus on the way was not an ideal way to start the day. Prior to our visit, we submitted student names, birthdays, and waiver numbers in advance to help streamline the check-in process. However, none of that information appeared to be utilized, and check-in ended up being long and exhausting for both students and staff. There was only one employee handling the entire check-in process, which created significant delays. We had also prepaid for a package that included unlimited pizza, drinks, chicken, and fries. It quickly became apparent that the facility was not prepared for our group's arrival. Food service was slow, and overall operations felt disorganized throughout the visit. The students were disappointed that the photo booth was out of service and that the rock wall was not fully functioning. To their credit, they still made the most of the activities that were available and had a good time together. One of the most confusing parts of the experience occurred at the end of our visit. Our group had already paid in full prior to arriving, yet we were asked for a final payment before leaving. This created unnecessary confusion and did not inspire confidence in the organization's record-keeping. While the facility itself offers a fun experience for students, the management and organization continue to be a concern. Since this has been an annual trip for our school, I would expect the process to become smoother and more efficient each year. Instead, many of the same logistical issues seem to persist. The kids still had fun, but the experience for the adults coordinating the trip was far more stressful than it needed to be.

Additionally I noticed at the party there there was almost no staff at the bouncy house rooms. The would walk us to the room then disappear until the next room changed. The kids overall enjoyed it and both could participate at the same time. The owner later suggested moving our 5-year-old to a more advanced Tuesday class and assured us our 2yr old could attend at the same time. After switching within a few classes the instructors told us our 2yr old was "too young and not ready" (even though the class is listed for ages 1-3). He's a typical energetic toddler and me or my husband were present in every class to help keep him focused. When I brought this up to the owner instead of addressing the issue, he said both of our kids "don't follow instructions" including our 5yr old who is attentive and loves gymnastics. This was inaccurate, offensive and disappointing, especially since he admitted he hadn't seen them himself that class (while I did). The Tuesday classes were also very overcrowded compared to Saturdays. If safety or engagement is a concern, the gym should adapt its setup, not blame children for being age-appropriate. What made it worse is that the owner never followed up after that conversation - not to clarify or apologize. We canceled our enrollment that same day. It's disheartening to see a business handle families this way, making excuses instead of taking responsibility. We'll be taking our kids somewhere that values honesty, respect and a true understanding of child development.

By far the worst and most unprofessional experience I've ever had with a coach…read more As a fitness coach who has worked with many coaches over the years, I have high standards for professionalism, but Coach Daniel failed on every level. I was randomly assigned to Coach Daniel after the intro class with Coach Mark. Not too long after I worked with him, I realized his punctuality and communication were a total mess. He was late to our very first session and kept showing up late after that. (Screenshot #2) Other than his constant tardiness, he was frequently distracted and disengaged while training me. It got to the point where he completely no-showed on me once without any heads-up (Screenshot #3). After I brought up my concerns about his punctuality, hoping things would change, he even explicitly admitted in text messages that the business has no formal policy for coach no-shows or severe delays, and unpunctuality and missed lessons are a regular issue among the coaches at this gym (Screenshot #1 & #3). For our latest session he claimed at the last minute he would be 45 minutes late again and even unilaterally decided to hand me off to another coach without my permission (Screenshot #5). When I reached out to discuss his professional attitude, he literally ghosted me for days with zero response. When he finally got back to me, there was no apology or explanation, just "I think it's best moving forward that you work with a different coach" or offered a refund(Screenshot #6). On top of being constantly late and ghosting me, Coach Daniel went out of his way in our texts to poison my view of the entire coaching team. He constantly talked trash about his colleagues behind their backs, mocked other coaches' client progress (Screenshot #4), bragged about poaching clients from his coworkers (Screenshot #7), and tried to stir up random drama by claiming other trainers were creeping around his clients (Screenshot #8). Rather than just doing his job, he was busy gossiping, throwing people under the bus, and creating a toxic environment. I have formally reported to the Better Business Bureau (BBB Case #25170416) with full text and message record evidence. Loopkicks is honestly too good of a facility to have a coach like this. It's a pity that a quality gym like Loopkicks allows such unprofessional behavior from a coach. If you value your time and money, stay away from Daniel Nguyen.
