One of the most consistently satisfying restaurants in Longmont is The Pumphouse. I have no idea how many times I've been to this restaurant. It's been a lot! Their food is always good, and the variety makes it easy for everyone in your group to find something that they'll enjoy. We just went there last night after an event at The Longmont Theatre Company and had a great time. The restaurant is almost right across the street from the theatre, so it's perfect for a bite pre or post performance. They have such great burgers! My favorite is The Main Street burger (bacon, mushrooms, cheddar and swiss on a king's hawaiian bun). I chose the Beer Cheese Soup for my side. I've never had a better Beer Cheese Soup than at this restaurant. My husband had the tater tots and they were so good! They have happy hour deals Monday to Friday from 3-6pm and every night from 9pm-close. I ordered the delicious House Margarita which was only $6! The Pumphouse is a locally-owned & operated brewpub. They offer a large selection of beer. They have an outdoor covered patio that faces Main Street. In addition to the Restaurant there is also The Red Zone which is their connected sports bar. You can order food in The Red Zone as well. There is free street parking and parking in the lot behind the restaurant. It can get crowded at night and on the weekend! read more

First time here, we stopped by on a Wednesday night after finding the pizza place we attempted to visit to be closed for the holiday week. They've got a large menu with lots of different choices for burgers, sandwiches, salads, and other bar-type food. I went with the Muenster Pretzel burger. The bun was a little harder than I preferred, but the burger was large and had very good flavor. My wife had the Wagyu burger with avocado and onion and thought it was very good...even though she received sliced onions rather than sautéed. Fries didn't have a ton of flavor and were just fair. My wife liked them better than I did. We'd both likely try something different next time. Nobody needs dessert, and we weren't planning on dessert...that is until we saw one of the brownie sundaes arrive at a table near us. Next thing we knew, we had one as well. It was worth the calories and was a good finish to an enjoyable, yet gluttonous day of eating and drinking. Service was prompt, friendly, and courteous. Went there to Watch Indiana University cream Oregon in the college playoffs. It was crowded & noisy which we expected on a Friday night! Still, the staff were happy & courteous. Our waitress was superb at giving us time to decide beer & food and even offered me a sample of a beer I was considering. The warm pretzel rolls with dip were a the perfect appetizer!! I ordered the Reuben sandwich which was OUTSTANDING!! Highly stacked with thin shaved corn beef & all the expected toppings & flavor TO DIE FOR!! Seriously THE BEST!!! Saw a picture of the chipotle lime tacos and knew I had to have them. We came in as a party of 5 on a Monday night and were seated upstairs immediately. Our server was prompt and polite. Food and drinks came out quickly. I had the chicken chipotle lime tacos and they were amazing. The taco shell was lightly crisped, there was a ton of pulled chicken, and the chipotle lime sauce and spicy salsa on the side were an elite combo. I will be dreaming about these tacos. My friend had the roasted beef salad and she said she loved it. The space has comfy, warm lighting and plenty of TVs for all of the sports. I'll definitely be back, when in the area. read more

Astounding service every time!!! My Service dog is cooked the best Angus Beef Hamburger medium, sometimes I must order two for her. I have the salads and they are HUGE! With specially made house dressings, these salads are so Gigantic I must ask for 1/2 of salad and the Pumphouse does oblige the serving order AND price reduction. SERVICE: Impecable and never over done. Aspen and I always sit in a wooden booth, the size is perfect for us while looking out the entire sidewalk windows as passerbyers glance in and realize, this is the "Longmonth Place to enjoy" There are areas for special parties, reservations and menu created for special needs. Also!! An outdoor covered patio where NOT Service Dogs are allowed. The waitstaff are superb!!!! Just perfect attendance and seem to know exactly what we customers are thinking, with suggestions all appropriate mannered. This place was very cute and they had a lot of space! I ordered a burger with bacon, and no bun. But it was crazy delicious! My boyfriend ordered the Chile relleno's. He enjoyed them in the moment, but he definitely had a rough night... he would not order them again. There were a few other people in our party that weren't feeling well that night. We were a party of 20-25 people and we had a room upstairs. I understand it takes more time to service, but it took a while for us to order and get our food. We got there around 5:30 ish. We received our appetizers by maybe 6:00, then our entrees did not arrive until 7:30 ish. They did send out all the food at once, but I feel if it's ready, present it to the customer. read more

We absolutely love this place primary because the food is consistently good. Our favorites are the risotto (we were surprised that this is so far our absolute favorite risotto, far surpassing all of the fancier restaurants that we've eaten at), Jalapeno Brisket Rolls, Pork Carnitas Tacos, Longmont Burger, Main Street burger, and TBG Wrap. Honestly, we haven't really had anything that we haven't enjoyed. In addition, for drinks, we like the Flashpoint IPA (I'm not a big fan of IPAs in general) and the seasonal Two To Tango IPA, as well as the Ginger Cosmo. Beware, though, they do rotate things on and off the menu. Definitely recommend a visit when if you can. read more

We came here for lunch on Father's Day while passing through Longmont since it is one of my dad's favorite places in town. Although it was busy, we were immediately seated and greeted by a very friendly waitress. After taking some time to look at their extensive menu of options, we ordered. My parents say they have never had a bad thing here, and I would have to agree after my experience as well - I ordered their T-B-G (turkey, bacon, guac) wrap and was blown away by the portion size (3 large wrap pieces!) and the quality. My family has been coming to the Pumphouse for about 14 years. We love this place. Lots of interesting options. We have had about every appetizer, sometimes come just for a cocktail and the artichoke dip. Pretzels are also real good. Burgers are always an easy choice because they are filing and delicious. Fish and chips are another good option. I have had the shrimp before and love the dipping sauce. Salads are good, my wife's go to item. Some patrons at the bar started gathering and were a bit out of control disrupting other diners but the staff ignored the group and let it continue. The Pumphouse Brewery is certainly the place to be in Longmont or at least it was the evening we were there. The place was completely full, and our server had two large parties to handle. She did a great job, was friendly, and apologized for the wait times. Overall the service was good. I found the food to be a little underwhelming though. It was not bad by any means, but was a little bland. It also didn't help that is was cooled down pretty significantly by the time it got to our table. I had pasta I. An Alfredo type sauce that had congealed together from cooling when it got to me. Their beer/cider selection was good and everyone enjoyed their drafts as well. The overall cost was on the high end of reasonable making this an occasional stop and not a regular one. The place seems pretty cool. We sat on the tented heated patio which was extremely warm, but it was nice being out of a building during the winter months. I could feel the fresh air when the wind would whip up under the tent. Our server was friendly, and on top of things. I tried the TGB wrap and wasn't all that impressed. First off I didn't realize the wrap was open on both ends, so after eating mid way thru the first portion, the contents started spilling into my lap before I realized it wasn't closed at the end. It was also quite spicy for my liking. The fries were alright, but didn't really taste fresh. Had more of a frozen taste to them. There are protesters on the corner and cars honking in agreement as they drive by the protesters. If I were in town again, I'd probably give it a second chance with another order. The service was pretty slow and honestly, we thought it was expensive for what it was. The staff wears masks and hand sanitizers are readily available. We started off with the Goat Cheese Brushetta & Hummus. The serving size of this dish is large. The addition of the artichokes, sundried tomatoes, spinach and fresh basil made the dish even better. The size of the Philly cheesesteak is huge. The bread is fresh and the meat is tender and flavorful. You get plenty of meat in this sandwich. The fries were cooked well in clean oil, and perfectly salted. The beer battered shrimp was cooked well and quite large. I had the Monday night $4 margaritas. The drink was tasty and made and delivered in a timely manner. My friend had the Strawberry Blonde. It was well balanced and refreshing. The drinks are nicely garnished. It is nice that they don't let drinks sit at the pass while the ice melts and waters the drink down. Pump house is always a hit in my opinion!! I love getting their seasonal draft beers, jalapeño wheat is the one I'm currently obsessed with! More recently I had their chicken Mac n cheese and it was so delicious. It didn't seem like a huge platter but it was so filling and I had leftovers which is always great. The bad service isn't always top tier but I feel like that's the case in most places. Pumphouse gets so busy so it's understandable but everyone is still so friendly. This locally owned brewery with an extensive selection of beers and food has a wide space inside and a nice patio. They also have solid cocktails and I was very happy with my red sangria. BEWARE OF DOGS! Roaming free & eating off tables. One our go-to places. Food is always good. Ambience & Staff are great. However, the last two times we've been there the dog friendly patio has turned into a literal dog park. So disgusting that we left yesterday and saw another table walk out because of it. One gentleman had a fluffy shedding dog that was on a 10 foot leash. Dog was walking around, hair flying everywhere, and resting its chin on other people's tables begging for food.. one little girl was nearly in tears afraid of it while it laid its head on her table inches from her food. Which its owner thought was cute. Staff and guests had to keep walking over & around it to get by. MOST DISGUSTING was a table that had their dog sitting up on a chair like a human. Slopping up food off of one of the restaurant's plates on the table (yes the same plates that come out of the kitchen with guest food). Then, the dog continued to lick the table itself!! licking up all the food that had splattered off the plate. We waited for a staff member to tell them it was not health department compliant. (there's no way it could be right?) but instead, the staff seemed to think it was cute. Dog #3, was being held by its owner, with his head hanging over his shoulder (as you would when burping a baby) with the dog breathing heavily into my face about 2 feet away. I'm good with a dog friendly patio.. but to let them sit or be held at the table, instead of laying well behaved at their owners feet.. and to let them roam free at other customer's tables is so disgusting! read more

Overall so fun. Love this restaurant and the atmosphere on a Saturday night but don't get the chicken piccata. Super flavorless, no lemon, way too many mushrooms, and chicken was overcooked. The burgers were great, chicken friend chicken didn't disappoint, and the apps were great. Pretzel bites weren't worth it but friend pickles, and wings are defiantly worth the repurchase.
