What a great restaurant for gluten-free eaters! Best comprehensive summary on every item on the menu! I was handed a multiple page supplement that showed each item on the regular menu and how it was gluten free, or not, and if was possibly cross contaminated via fry oil. So impressed! Our server, Serena, was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and overall enjoyable. And the food was so good too! I wish I had this restaurant in my town, I was here visiting. Visiting from out of state we found this place via Yelp... No one in our group was disappointed. We got seated right away and sat outside just to be a bit safer. Plenty of spacing between tables and service was great. The food was even better. Pretzel app was soft and delicious, burgers, big and tasty and even the Tacos had some kick to them. I would recommend not getting the rice and beans with your tacos though if you can sub out something (they were bland). The beers were great, and a good variety for all of those light and dark lovers. Desert selection was a bit limited, but plenty of places nearby if you had a certain craving. This place is always packed and is all the rage in downtown Longmont. I was attracted to the look of the patio, ambiance and the extensive menu! They have a great selection of fun shots you can take, mixed drinks, and (my fave) an extensive beer list. They even had Atomic Pumpkin from New Belgium! As tasty seasonal and great choice! I came here twice in one week after moving to the area. The first time we made a reservation but showed up and had to wait 20 minutes. We didn't want to sit on the street tables - due to Covid they expanded out to the street and though these are nice tables the chilly weather has everyone wanting to sit under the patio heaters instead. We didn't mind but the wait staff seemed clearly annoyed. We brushed it off to enjoy the night. Once seated we ordered a bunch of apps and had a great girls night. We shared the pretzels (my favorite thing here - they must be covered in garlic butter or something), Brussel Sprouts, street tacos, and the artichoke dip. The artichoke dip was cold and looked like hummus, definitely would not recommend. Other than that the food was great! Ignoring the beginning of the night I was eager to return. Our second visit we had a party of 8. We called the morning of for reservation. They do not take same day so they said to call back 20 min before to put your name on the wait list. We did this and once we arrived they didn't have our name down. The line at this time was long and they said we would have to put our name at the bottom and wait. Our friends had called ahead at the same time and walked right in. (We were hoping to try and sit close). I mentioned this to the manager, trying to be as nice as possible and give constructive feedback. Having waited tables and worked in restaurants for 9 years I understand there can be mix ups. Where I dropped dead was when the manager said he never got out call. I showed him my call log and that's I had called an hour earlier at that point and spoke with a male bartender (the bartender told me he was a bartender and he had to put my call ahead in with the hostess - he obvi forgot). Instead of usually customer service the manager turned everything to me. I shouldn't have placed my name with a bartender. They didn't have any male bartenders, I must not have called. Etc. it was all my fault. To top it off he laughs and says, if you even decide to come back you need to ask for a manager or a hostess when you call to put your name in. No bartenders should be taking your name for the list. Isn't that an internal process that needs to be fixed? When would I think to ask for a manager when I call to put my name in. I followed direction exactly from what they told me to do yet it was all my fault. Anyway, this had everyone frustrated and amped up. After waiting a full hour (altogether) for our table, we were sat in the street, far away from our friends (because we asked and the patio tables with the heaters are for reservations even though our friends just called ahead and they were seated there). Our night was stripped of fun and I will never be returning simply because I was treated so poorly by a manager. The frustrating part was they don't need my business. They are always packed so they don't really seem to care about customer service at all, because they don't need my business. It is unfortunate when restaurants turn this way because it ends up not being about the experience at all. I don't recommend the pump house of red zone and I will not be back. read more

We were in Longmont and we decided to go for lunch at the pumphouse. They have a decent number of outside tables that allow social distancing. We were able to immediately get a table. I got a Mediterranean portabello sandwich that I strongly recommend. It was perfect: balsamic marinated portabello with sautéed spinach, sundries tomatoes and caramelized onions. The French fries were perfectly cooked. The prices are on the high side for a brewery but it was so good that it was fine with me. It was our 2nd time to the Pumphouse and each time, it was delicious. I strongly recommend the Pumphouse. read more

Got hungry after a business appt about 1:30 May 16. drove by Pumphouse Brewery and saw the outdoor umbrellas. We entered and got seated right away and gave our drink orders. All the wait staff were pleasant and quick. I order a draft beer, Kölsch, and wife ordered house Margarita, 2 times. The beer was good, but a little short on flavor, reminding me of a light beer. The presentation of the food was great but my food wasn't. I had the Caribbean chicken sandwich and it was overwhelmingly "oregano-y". I did not enjoy it at all. The kids macaroni and cheese was straight up Kraft. The kids fish and chips were excellent. The sweet potato fries were the best I can remember having anywhere. I wouldn't order any of their sandwiches again. Despite not liking my sandwich my husband liked his burger but the bun was mealy. We had just gotten into town needed a bit to eat. We travel with our dog who can struggle around noises and people. We didn't want to leave him alone in a strange place while we ate so we went out in search of a good patio. The hostess at Pumphouse was such a doll and when I explained the situation she immediately sat us at an isolated area outside where no one else was seated so that we could protect our dog from getting upset. Our server Brian was also very kind and understanding. The food was great (the fajitas were actually phenomenal) but for us that was almost secondary to the service and understanding they showed us and our pup. read more

This was a 4.5 stars visit at The Red Zone! It was a Monday night football night so the parking lot was packed. The restaurant had immediate seating. The only reason it lacks .5 of a star was the amount of time waiting for the staff to attend. I suppose they were doing their best. I had a whiskey & sprite, my bestest friend had their known house drink, pomegranate lemonade with a sugar rim!!! Her first drink didn't have sugar rim as expect but the 2nd one made up for it. LOL! Right off the bat, the Pumphouse is one of my favorite restaurants. While they serve typical pub or bar fare, the variety and quality is a step up. They have a lot of made in-house ingredients and a strong selection for those with food allergies. My go-to items are the nachos with bbq pork and one of the many burgers. I have yet to have a bad meal there. I don't drink beer, but they seem to have a good amount of options and friends I have dined with are always complimentary of their beers. There are a few different sections in the restaurant. The Red Zone is set up like a sports bar. They also have a typical dining room with a smaller bar and outdoor seating.
