Cute spot and the closest place for me to go for Bosnian food. Cevapi is my "go-to" order, and the sausages were very tasty! The somun bread was not the pillowy goodness I expected. It was very greasy and wet and gummy. It didn't taste bad, but the texture wasn't the same as I've experienced in other restaurants. It's counter order and there are inside and outside tables if you want to eat there. The counter person/server was friendly and brought my food to my table promptly. 4 Stars! First visit. VERY fresh food, well prepared and tasty. There is really nothing like this the Arnold area which makes it really special, but I felt they were missing a few ingredients compared to other similar cafes. We only had the Grilled Chicken Salad and the Gyro Salad but will certainly be back to try other items. Wish they had added kalamata olives and maybe some banana peppers to the Gyro salad with even some feta as an option. All in all, the food was good and since they have only been serving food here for only a year, I expect them to only get better. Also didn't really care for the black walls and nightclub vibe, but don't let this stop you from giving them a try!! Look forward to my next visit. read more

Over price establishment. Pizza was burnt, ordered waffle fries but got string fries, and crapes had too much chocolate sauce. Service was extremely slow even though limited number of clients and excessive staff. Coffee was good but over price. Spent over $120.00 for a group of 4 for lunch. read more

The only thing good I have to say is the girl working was very friendly. However, I ordered a caramel mocha frappe and got a white mocha frappe instead. Then they wanted to charge me almost $8 if I paid with a card versus $6.00 cash which is an absurd fee! Woo Thankfully I had cash. I usually don't. Many people do not these carry cash these days. I drove almost 10 miles to give them another try today, but they were closed!! I can understand being closed on a Sunday and even Monday, but no places are closed Monday and Tuesday!! Puna means "full" in Bosnian, as in "full service cafe," and it lives up to its name. As a relatively new business (opened around September 2018), it was not busy when I went to work on school (free WiFi, BTW) around 3:30-7:30 PM, and the barista was very attentive to my needs. It's a very modern feel with plenty of indoor seating to include tables with chairs and also couches. They play upbeat tunes on the speakers at a moderate volume. There are a couple tables outside in the front and a full patio in the back. The only real complaint I have was the difficulty in finding the place for the first time. They don't have a large sign and Google maps takes you to the other end of the strip mall. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the ambience while working on my schoolwork and will definitely return in the future. Sidenote: they serve mostly coffee, mocha (hot or iced) and desserts. read more

Puna has become a regular coffee shop for me now! I heard they opened and didn't have really any expectations. But the owners are hilarious and super nice! Love that they offer more than just your typical latte and cappuccino: the iced white chocolate mocha is better than Starbucks and that's been my go to drink for years now! The patio in the back is great especially for the weather we have in STL some days got some days cold so it's an awesome option to be able to switch it up! Good luck Arnel & Budo! Came here with my mom for a quick caffeine fix. Usually I'd hit up a Starbucks in the area because there aren't many/good local alternatives in the area so I was surprised and excited when I stumbled into this. The guy working was really nice and was patient and accommodating. The latte we got was pretty good too and not really any complaints there. The guy working even waived the $15 credit card minimum that was required which was nice since we didn't have cash. Knocking a point off because the atmosphere was a bit off, there was a motorcycle and a gambling slot machine there, and an Xbox hooked up to the tv. All cool and might fit certain tastes, but it takes away from the atmosphere in my opinion. read more

Best cappuccino I've had in a long time. My daughter had the hibiscus tea and we shared the Nutella crepes, which were awesome. Great atmosphere and we will definitely come again! Kind of hard to find, it's to the left of the China Buffet, down the hill on the left from the Aldis. read more

My wife and I had some friends in town, and we wanted some coffee later in the evening. This is one of only a few options in Arnold that time of the day. We were warmly greeted and seated promptly on the patio out back. Both servers who we interacted with were kind and helpful. The four of us each ordered desserts and various drinks (chai, mochas, and cappuccino). We were all very satisfied with both beverages and desserts, and my wife and I both intend to return. The only bad thing is that they need more signage for people to be aware of their presence in an out-of-the-way location. However, I plan to help get the word out! We need more local places like this that are unique, convenient, and tasty. read more
