Charming small coffee shop with wide variety of pastries. Alternative to that very popular coffee a block north. Service is fast and friendly. Inside is small but seating outside is great when weather is nice. Street parking. Stop by after lunch or for lunch (which is what I usually do).

After eating lunch at a nearby restaurant on the Hill, I walked over to Cafe Dolce to grab a little afternoon treat. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. Cafe Dolce is the kind of place where you just want to sit and hang out for awhile. They have tons of fun flavors you can choose to add to your coffee, including plenty of sugar free options. I ended up getting an iced lavender latte. It was perfect and strong. While I didn't get any pastries and cookies this time, everything in the display case looked incredible. It seems like everything would pair perfectly with a coffee. The barista who took my order and made my coffee was so sweet and personable. She made me feel so welcomed! I would love to come back with my laptop and get some work done while enjoying the vibes.

I cannot recommend this coffee shop enough. It is so cute in the people there are so nice. The coffee is delightful and they even have a small menu of breakfast foods to enjoy with your coffee!

HOLY CANNOLI! I'm always on the hunt for good Italian cookies, and this place is AMAZING!!!! I happened upon it while visiting The Hill and I'm so lucky that I did! It's the cutest little cafe with a patio. Inside you can enjoy coffee and a variety of deserts including their phenomenal made to order cannolis! I'm a brat about my cannolis, and these are my favorite! Bring a hot day, the worker suggested their iced nitro cold brew with sweet cream and it was delicious. I also grabbed a box of cookies to bring home and they are so soft and delicious. No dry crumbly cookies here! They all were the perfect texture and flavor! Great service and cute vibe!!!!

What can I say, this cute little Italian bakery is one of my favorite places to go in the Hill! I always have a good experience when I go and I love trying all of the authentic treats and desserts. I tried the cannolo and It was perfectly crispy on the outside with the right amount of filling. The amount of seating is pretty limited, so that's something to keep in mind if you visit there at a busy hour.

Super cute place! It was cold when we visited, so we couldn't use the front patio, but it looks like a lovely place to have a coffee on a spring morning. Prices were comparable to any small business coffee shop. Service was quick, and my latte was outstanding. Love the aesthetics of the place. My friends and I were able to sit in a cute corner seating area and shoot the breeze for a couple of hours. It wasn't busy busy, but it had a good steady stream of customers. Would totally visit again.

We stopped in after mass one Sunday. They have a great selection of Italian baked good as well as typical coffee house fare. Since most areas on the Hill are closed on Sunday this was a great find. The service was good and the prices were reasonable.

I was in town visiting family from St. Louis when a good friend of mine also happened to be here! We wanted to checkout some local coffee shops in The Hill neighborhood. We decided to go to Cafe Dolce before a Six Flags trip to fuel up. The shop is cute but small with lots of coffee options. The counter seemed to have way more sweet items than savory. We both ordered Iced Caramel Macchiatos- one with 2% (they don't have whole milk as an option) and one with Oatmilk. The coffee was really good and if my review was based on coffee alone it would be higher. The only thing I didn't prefer was the straws- they were tiny and would bend fairly easily making it hard to drink. The breakfast sandwiches we ordered were pretty awful. I asked if I could customize something and was told the items come as they are, which to me signals they were prebrought and frozen. They reminded us of like a frozen jimmy deans sandwich. We really wanted something a bit more fresh. We ordered the turkey egg crossiant and bacon egg cheese on an english muffin. They were both warm, but soggy and super soft. The bacon in mine looked more like ham and was undercooked. I meant to take a picture but we were in a rush. I would come back for coffee but skip anything savory related there. Overall experience 3/5

Cafe Dolce is a delightful place to spend a morning. The food is good. I always get a fresh made cannoli with a coffee drink. Today I also got a panini. Everything was delicious as always. The service is friendly and quick. Everyone is very pleasant. The café is decorated very cute with a small merch shop, large sweets display case, and a large painting on the brick wall of Italy. If you're on The Hill, this is a must visit.

Small charming coffee shop on, The Hill. It is kind of off the main drag on, The Hill, so parking is a lot easier. I'm not a fancy caffeine drink fan, I just like plain ole coffee and I like my coffee black. I was next door dropping off my taxes to my CPA and stopped by Cafe Dolce for a Cup of Joe to enjoy while I was driving out to the outlet mall. My coffee had a good flavor to it and was not over roasted like the major chain that is everywhere. In addition, to my coffee, I grabbed a Blueberry Scone. I was wavering between two flavors and the barista told me that Blueberry was a customer favorite. After biting into it, I could see why everyone likes it. It had a good soft texture, wasn't overly sweet and was crammed full of Blueberries. I am already looking forward to stopping in again, when I come back to my CPA to pick up my completed taxes.

Happened upon this cafe after dinner the other night and said I had to come back to try it. And I am so glad I did. It was so cute! Seating inside and outside. Pastries and coffee. The cannoli was made to order, and it was fantastic! I got one of the coffee specials and oh my gosh. 10/10. I will be back to try some more things!

I was even more pleasantly surprised to see MUD\WTR on the menu, I recently quit drinking caffeine, and of course I have seen a lot of ads for mushroom coffee, I very much appreciated the opportunity to order it here as opposed to having to buy it online to try it. Personally, I liked the mushroom coffee, I have always drank coffee black and I appreciated the flavor of the mushroom, turmeric and additional spices.

It took all my strength to not buy one of everything but I selected on four picks for my first of two visits, as well as a bag of their sourdough shortbread that I just finished today and am already missing. I was also given a taster of their apple crisp with my first order, which was very delicious and will be a great addition to any holiday meal. The maple glazed doughnut was soft, a perfect classic. The cranberry ginger jam was delicious and punchy, but could have used a little something on the actual doughnut to balance out how strong it was. I enjoyed both kolaches; the everything seasoning one is well reminiscent of the classic bagel and schmear with its cream cheese center, and the three cheese bacon had good sized strips of bacon baked in. Perhaps my favorite was my take home item from the next day, their cinnamon roll. I warmed it up a little, not that it needed it. Pillowy soft with a delicious frosting. I also miss that already too. I really appreciate that you can also pick up local eggs and milk from this spot with Fed From The Farm. As you can see, it was very busy around 9am when I came in Saturday morning, but the line moves quickly and there's space in the back to wait for your order. The parking lot is small and fills quickly but nearby street parking seems feasible enough. Really glad I got to check out this spot!

I'd just done a training run that began and ended at the shoe store across the street. At the conclusion, I was given a Paloma-flavored non-alcoholic beer, courtesy of one of my running group's sponsors, but what was I supposed to do with that? It was decided that we needed coffee. (How ironic, by the way. Receiving a free beer from your sponsor.) We seem to have gotten there just in time. There was already a healthy crowd of people who apparently weren't runners, based on their physique (lol jk), and several people from our running group arrived after we did. People apparently like this place. The vibe is quirky and independent, with a lot of random decor, including a Blues Brothers poster and a sign declaring that the Teletubbies are welcome, and a lot of local-interest signage and artwork. People in the City love to remind themselves that they're in St. Louis. You never see anything like that in my native West County. Truth be told, I wouldn't even go into a coffee shop unless someone else suggested it. It costs less at QT. But I figured when in Rome. I wasn't about to get a sandwich, in part because I wasn't hungry, and in part because I'm always wary of food from places that specialize in coffee, but I figured I'd try one of their fancy coffee drinks instead of just a regular coffee. I went with something called a Zippity Do Da, or something to that effect. It was a latte, served hot or cold (I of course went with hot), with... if I'm not mistaken, peanut butter, honey and mocha. I liked the idea that there was a peanut butter element, in part because I couldn't imagine what that would be like. Peanut butter, even the welfare version you get at Aldi, is at least somewhat viscous. Was this going to be more like a milkshake? That could be gross, and grossly caloric, canceling out any benefit of my training run. Of course I was going to drink it anyway. Turns out that the peanut butter was the element that was least prominent in the overall taste of this drink, though you could in fact taste it. I found it impressive that, if you concentrated hard enough, you could detect elements of peanut butter, honey and mocha. It's like when you purchase a fancy bottle of wine, from, perhaps, the aforementioned Aldi, and you really can taste bits of oak, vanilla, campfire and a slight nuttiness. No Diddy. These people are true coffee artists, the cafe equivalent of people who work at Subway. I'm at the nearby shoe store every once in a while, so maybe I'll return. I might even cop a bagel.
