Cute little cafe in The Hill, and they have a large variety of Italian desserts! I was blown away by the large variety of desserts and their cannolis are super fresh! It was so difficult choosing a few different desserts because they have so many options to choose from. They also have seasonal beverages and the classic lattes and espresso drinks. Service was also super friendly and they helped us make an easy decision by offering their recommendations. I love how they also have a small section with their goods. Surprisingly there were quite a few tables and chairs to sit and enjoy our desserts and drinks!

Second row from left top & bottom were all gluten and dairy free. The pistachio and the orange & almond were fabulous. 022226

Cute, cozy and sunlit space with delicious Illy coffees and lattes with *real* matcha. Gluten AND dairy free cookies made for a real treat. Aggie is great and made us feel welcome our first time in. Recommend!

Charming small coffee shop with wide variety of pastries. Alternative to that very popular coffee a block north. Service is fast and friendly. Inside is small but seating outside is great when weather is nice. Street parking. Stop by after lunch or for lunch (which is what I usually do).

After eating lunch at a nearby restaurant on the Hill, I walked over to Cafe Dolce to grab a little afternoon treat. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. Cafe Dolce is the kind of place where you just want to sit and hang out for awhile. They have tons of fun flavors you can choose to add to your coffee, including plenty of sugar free options. I ended up getting an iced lavender latte. It was perfect and strong. While I didn't get any pastries and cookies this time, everything in the display case looked incredible. It seems like everything would pair perfectly with a coffee. The barista who took my order and made my coffee was so sweet and personable. She made me feel so welcomed! I would love to come back with my laptop and get some work done while enjoying the vibes.

I cannot recommend this coffee shop enough. It is so cute in the people there are so nice. The coffee is delightful and they even have a small menu of breakfast foods to enjoy with your coffee!

HOLY CANNOLI! I'm always on the hunt for good Italian cookies, and this place is AMAZING!!!! I happened upon it while visiting The Hill and I'm so lucky that I did! It's the cutest little cafe with a patio. Inside you can enjoy coffee and a variety of deserts including their phenomenal made to order cannolis! I'm a brat about my cannolis, and these are my favorite! Bring a hot day, the worker suggested their iced nitro cold brew with sweet cream and it was delicious. I also grabbed a box of cookies to bring home and they are so soft and delicious. No dry crumbly cookies here! They all were the perfect texture and flavor! Great service and cute vibe!!!!

What can I say, this cute little Italian bakery is one of my favorite places to go in the Hill! I always have a good experience when I go and I love trying all of the authentic treats and desserts. I tried the cannolo and It was perfectly crispy on the outside with the right amount of filling. The amount of seating is pretty limited, so that's something to keep in mind if you visit there at a busy hour.

Super cute place! It was cold when we visited, so we couldn't use the front patio, but it looks like a lovely place to have a coffee on a spring morning. Prices were comparable to any small business coffee shop. Service was quick, and my latte was outstanding. Love the aesthetics of the place. My friends and I were able to sit in a cute corner seating area and shoot the breeze for a couple of hours. It wasn't busy busy, but it had a good steady stream of customers. Would totally visit again.

We stopped in after mass one Sunday. They have a great selection of Italian baked good as well as typical coffee house fare. Since most areas on the Hill are closed on Sunday this was a great find. The service was good and the prices were reasonable.

Iced Caramel Macchiato with 2% and Iced Caramel Macchiato with Oatmilk

I was in town visiting family from St. Louis when a good friend of mine also happened to be here! We wanted to checkout some local coffee shops in The Hill neighborhood. We decided to go to Cafe Dolce before a Six Flags trip to fuel up. The shop is cute but small with lots of coffee options. The counter seemed to have way more sweet items than savory. We both ordered Iced Caramel Macchiatos- one with 2% (they don't have whole milk as an option) and one with Oatmilk. The coffee was really good and if my review was based on coffee alone it would be higher. The only thing I didn't prefer was the straws- they were tiny and would bend fairly easily making it hard to drink. The breakfast sandwiches we ordered were pretty awful. I asked if I could customize something and was told the items come as they are, which to me signals they were prebrought and frozen. They reminded us of like a frozen jimmy deans sandwich. We really wanted something a bit more fresh. We ordered the turkey egg crossiant and bacon egg cheese on an english muffin. They were both warm, but soggy and super soft. The bacon in mine looked more like ham and was undercooked. I meant to take a picture but we were in a rush. I would come back for coffee but skip anything savory related there. Overall experience 3/5

Small charming coffee shop on, The Hill. It is kind of off the main drag on, The Hill, so parking is a lot easier. I'm not a fancy caffeine drink fan, I just like plain ole coffee and I like my coffee black. I was next door dropping off my taxes to my CPA and stopped by Cafe Dolce for a Cup of Joe to enjoy while I was driving out to the outlet mall. My coffee had a good flavor to it and was not over roasted like the major chain that is everywhere. In addition, to my coffee, I grabbed a Blueberry Scone. I was wavering between two flavors and the barista told me that Blueberry was a customer favorite. After biting into it, I could see why everyone likes it. It had a good soft texture, wasn't overly sweet and was crammed full of Blueberries. I am already looking forward to stopping in again, when I come back to my CPA to pick up my completed taxes.

Happened upon this cafe after dinner the other night and said I had to come back to try it. And I am so glad I did. It was so cute! Seating inside and outside. Pastries and coffee. The cannoli was made to order, and it was fantastic! I got one of the coffee specials and oh my gosh. 10/10. I will be back to try some more things!

Cafe Dolce is a delightful place to spend a morning. The food is good. I always get a fresh made cannoli with a coffee drink. Today I also got a panini. Everything was delicious as always. The service is friendly and quick. Everyone is very pleasant. The café is decorated very cute with a small merch shop, large sweets display case, and a large painting on the brick wall of Italy. If you're on The Hill, this is a must visit.

The desserts were both tasty and well balanced, the coffee was fresh and screaming hot! The ordering process is a little clunky l, as we had to wait for the ladies behind the dessert counter to be available (they also seat guests in the restaurant it seems) and they didn't see us for a minute. Then you go to a different spot to order coffee and pay. The cashier wasn't sure what the desserts we ordered were called, so she had trouble finding what to ring in. The appetizers, artichokes, zucchini fries and Burratta were amazing and the whole party enjoyed them. This was a birthday dinner for me so I was excited when I got there (my former review was about our amazing lunch there so I expected so much more). My mother ordered the pork chop which she enjoyed, she said it wasn't special but it was a good pork chop. My brother ordered the crab enchiladas which he hated. He did admit that it could be a taste thing as he expected sauce and there was bone, just cheese and noodles and crab and not enough cheese. My daughter and I both ordered filet and lobster with scalloped potatoes. I overlooked that it was served with sauce, which had it been flavorful sauce would have been okay but it was as if they took milk... just milk and poured it over each plate. The steaks were not medium as expected... more like a medium well and the lobster... well it is weirdly shredded partially with a bit left in the tail... my daughter complained hers was chewy and mine was ungodly nasty fishy. I even gave my daughter a piece of mine which she said tasted nothing like hers and she couldn't even swallow it. I am not a person to eat a significant portion of a meal and complain so we just ate what we wanted but it didn't take a lot to eat a significant portion because there wasn't much there. For 75 a plate I expected at least quality food and what I received was not quality food. The potato was not bad to me but everything on the table was served tepid and not at all hot. However there were some things warmer than others... my steak was warm, my daughters was cold, her lobster was warm and mine was not. The pork chop was just tepid and the potatoes were just cold. The same went with appetizers, fried artichokes were cold but zucchini was so hot I burned my mouth.... It was much busier when we went last night than when we went for dinner and i left feeling as if they either need more cooks or one that can handle a busy restaurant because the food was just not good. A big disappointment as it was my birthday dinner and one I had really looked forward to. If I were to go back it would be for the lobster roll which was the amazing lunch I had some time back or for an appetizer and a drink and that simply because the staff really are great and the little store out front so cute and J love Italian Grocers... If you go here I recommend asking questions and taking a look at reviews of what you would like to order. Again, I recognize everyone has different tastes and this review speaks to my thoughts on the food last night not on the restaurant as a whole which I feel tries very hard to be a good experience for customers.
