Today I stop buy one of my favorite restaurants punto rojo. Glad to see they were open during this pandemic. The restaurant was getting a lot of business .and the customers were practicing social distancing. Which is the way to go now and days. I haven't been here in a while, but the food is still delicious, they give you large portions of food for a decent price.the bag was pretty heavy .This restaurant has some of the best Latin food around. From there pastries to their yellow rice and grilled salmon .I tell you this spot is still a top 5 latino restaurant in queens or maybe even in NYC hands down. The food is fresh the restaurant is clean, plus the staff is very friendly and courteous. So shout out to all the staff at punto rojo one of my favorite restaurants in queens. For holding it down during this really crazy time in NYC.

Something called 'churrasco'. Please don't show that to anyone from Argentina. That was the fat leftover.

So, I stopped going a few years ago for the same reason, I was around the area last Saturday and thought, let me give them another try and it looks like nothing has changed. I am posting a picture because we'll, one image/picture is worth a thousand words. The "churrasco argentino" mmmmmm was half fat, half meat drowning in some kind of broth. I don't know in what part of argentina they cook the meat like that, I am guessing nowhere but anyways.

Four stars for the dulce de leche cake. It was delicious but in my opinion expensive for a small (feeds 10 ppl) cake. $35.00 Thankfully it fed well over ten people & had left over. Don't know why the measure cakes that way here instead of referring to them by lbs. she could have been a little neater writing out HB. Pic provided. Enjoy

Make sure when you order for pick up, you get your full order. I order a plate that comes with avocado and when it got here there was no avocado. The girl did not even tell me when I placed the order or even when I picked it up. I called to let her know they are missing a part of the order and she said "oh yeah the avocados have gone bad". SUCH a shady business practice, it is important to be transparent. I pay for a full order at-least be honest, no when a costumer calls to ask about the rest. I will not visit this establishment again.

This is the most RACIST bakery in Queens!! That's a fact if you're not Colombian or a man they're horrible waitresses will be super rude!!! They don't offer to heat up pastry's.... the food itself was whatever its a Colombian regular bakery w breads and coffee. AnyWho my experience there was horrible I do not recommend this place to anyone I suggest you skip it it's in Queens in a bad neighborhood so nobody really cares about it but just saying if you do want to go there do not! The creepy man behind the cashier doesn't help the situation either all he does is stare at asses And pretends Not to notice he always over charges......

Great place! Service was quick and waitress were friendly. Affordable prices with generous portion so come with an empty stomach. My friend recommend me the bandeja paisa. It came with rice, beans, fried pork belly, corn cake, steak, eggs, and sweet plantain. I couldn't finish it so I packed it to go. I would come back again to try the other stuff on the menu.

Chicken Ceasar had NO cheese or Ceasar dressing?? I had to add my own cheese... salad was $14.95!!!!!

The food here is yummy! Love the bakery area.... best arepas and Chicharons!!! However, I was not satisfied with my Ceasar salad!! For $14.95 all I got was some grilled chicken on top of plain iceberg and Thousand Island dressing on the side!!! I had to get home and sprinkle my own Parmesan cheese after spending 15$ bucks.... not cool! If you advertise your salad as a Ceasar, then you have to have the right cheese and dressing! Had this not happened they would get five starts from me... but unfortunately the salad brought my experience down.

    Skirt steak

Ordered a skirt steak WELL DONE. I didn't have time to eat and came back to it a few hours later. CLEALRY it was not well done. Beans were not good. Not sure if they have a new cook.

A great local family run Colombian restaurant. Nice bakery section up front and great food if you sit down. Just beside the Sutphin F stop and easy to get to. Always very clean and the staff is very friendly.

Super good! Everyone here is very friendly, and attentive. Free WiFi, good prices, a lot of variety in the Colombian bread section and a lot of desserts

That makes no sense, especially considering how quickly I called back. Even more concerning, when I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, I was told there wasn't one available. That's unacceptable for any business. Instead of helping resolve a simple issue, they made it unnecessarily complicated. Customer service here needs serious improvement.

I was impressed by the large variety of options on this menu. I ordered an empanada to start followed by a mini bandeja. There was nothing mini about it! As you can see by the pic, portion size are not skimpy. Overall, the dish was good, only thing I would change was the steak. Had a little too much fat for my liking. But the chicharron and frijoles were great. The jugo de guanabana was delicious. Empanada was good too, though I would've liked a bit more of a flavor kick. They have a few tables and bar area for indoor dining and a covered section outside. Restaurant was busy, with customers dining in or picking up orders. Seems like a staple for the local community which is great to see. Service was friendly and moderately paced. Will return if in the area!

Noches de Colombia is actually a chain with several locations in the tri-state area. I recently ate…read moreat the Queens location. Their locations are not fancy and are the Colombian equivalent of American diners. This means a big menu with a bakery section too. While there are better Colombian places out there, I found this place to be decent. For example, the portion size of their Bandeja Paisa was huge and everything tasted fresh. The pastries (bunuelos and pan de bono) were also good quality and fresh. If you're looking for a Colombian place to take the family that serves everything, Noches de Colombia fits the bill.

We were given an iPad each (to view the menu). When we asked for water they did not provide tapwater even though we asked for it and gave us a bottled water instead (that we had to pay for). After ordering the food it took approximately 30 minutes to arrive. The service was pretty slow. I ordered the carne asada with a side of frijoles since it only comes with white rice, sweet plantains and a potato. The meat itself was really hard to eat. It was very chewy and rough, not a good representation of Carne Asada. The white rice was just plain white rice. The potato had no seasoning on it, and the sweet plantains were super dry, which made them nasty and I couldn't even eat them. The beans had very little flavor or depth compared to other Colombian restaurants. There was no smoky or meat like savoriness, and it only had a very minimal hint of the usual aromatics. It also had a bit of a canned bean hint to it. Not very pleasant. Compared to other Colombian places I've had I would not come back to this place.
