Shout out to the business for holding to their schedules!!! I got a nice reply that let me know that they couldn't reschedule because they are respecting all their clients time. I love that ! He was patient with her, sent a reassuring message and took his time with her haircut. I sent a photo of the haircut I wanted for Maggie and Gustavo gave her one of the best haircuts she's had. When he dropped her off he told me that she did well during the groom and Maggie even said goodbye to him which is a sign of a good relationship between them. A nice touch was the grooming report I received at the end with a cute photo. My long time search for a groomer has ended and I'll be booking with Gustavo from now on!

Marco drove right up, super friendly, and took a look at Toby to see what he was working with. Toby has a small growth on his upper eyelid that creates a lot of gunk around his eye. My dogs are both super high energy, and they always seem to return relaxed from their stays. I like that there are certain activities they do with the dogs and that they video / photograph it daily. I do feel like a live camera would be nice but I understand that can bring more complications. Lastly, their actual place has gotten WAY nicer since I first went there. It looks very clean and organized.

Finding a local groomer became one of the many challenges for me. Based on the reviews, I chose this groomer. They are located at the west end of downtown CV. Walking in the store front, it has a very homey friendly country feel. They do not put dogs in crates. My dog has great separation anxiety so not being confined in a crate is a great relief. My appointment made via phone, requires a $50 deposit. My morning appointment, my dog was immediately taken in the back after grooming requirements were collected. Again, being a first time owner, they walk me through steps. A ninety minutes expectation was given for their work and they would text me to pick up. Upon my return, I was walk through grooming tips and tools (Coombs and brushes, and other products). I appreciate the advice. Since my dog's hair was knotted, he was trimmed very close. They were prepared to scheduled the next appointment but I held off so I can reflect on the overall experience. My dog was appeared fine from this experience though the trim could be more even throughout. Luckily the fur will grow back and no one will know the difference. I was sent a link to schedule appointments online. Overall I hit a very favorable impression with the store front and friendly staff. I definitely will schedule future grooming appointments.

From day one, Roy made us feel completely at ease. He sent daily photos and videos of Dior having the time of his life with his furry friends, which was huge for us since Dior never really got to socialize like that before. Seeing him so happy, relaxed, and genuinely enjoying himself made all the difference. Roy clearly loves what he does and treats the dogs like his own. Roy at PawPaw is truly amazing and the only person I trust. I came home to a beautiful, clean and better dog than when I left!! It's like she remembers her early training again-- she sits on command, is quiet on command (now HOW did you do that??!!) and is just perfect!! Holy cow!! Roy sends pictures and videos every day so you know that she is safe and happy. I loved seeing her "tucked in" at night with the other pups. Unfortunately, the haircut on our cockapoo turned out looking butchered and didn't really have much shape or style. It wasn't the fluffy look we usually go for.
