tl;dr - groomer showed up 30 minutes late, owner charged me a $50 cancellation fee (my credit card company shut it down), but worst of all he looked me up and tried gaslighting me I booked a 3:30 appt with Sergio (owner) per their online schedule. The request was later switched to 4 with Gabriel. I was emailed but not asked if that'd be okay. I kept it, though it'd be a very tight window for me ahead of a night shift. Day of, I called twice including once after they were late. An AI chatbot answered-- no one's available. 25 minutes pass, no call back to at least tell me they're on the way. At that point, it's a no show and I move on. Groomer arrived at my door after 4:30. I tell him there's not enough time and we should reschedule. He gets Sergio on the phone who starts bringing up other dates/times. I don't have my very random ED work schedule with me and I have to get ready, so I say I'll reschedule when I can look it over. He then says that when I booked, there was a policy giving them leeway to arrive in a window 30 minutes before or after--and that he'll have to charge me a $50 cancellation fee to pay the groomer for their time, gas, etc. WHAT?! 1st of all, the groomer arrived after 30 minutes (I have timestamps). 2nd of all, there is no such written policy, or I would've cancelled immediately after he moved my appointment. This is their cancellation policy: "All appointment cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. Any late cancellations or missed appointments will result in a 50% charge to the credit card on file." 15 minutes is a standard no-show timeframe. You can't just make up whatever timeframe you want unless you have it in writing. Any professional business owner would've apologized and many would've offered a discount. I didn't cancel, you missed our appointment. Your poor schedule management or policy detail is not for me to pay for. But that ended up just being the tip of the iceberg. He said I could use the fee toward rescheduling, all I asked was that he take accountability for being late first. He DOUBLED DOWN about their arrival window. I asked him to show me that policy, and he could only show me the one above. I asked why he didn't answer my calls or call back sooner. He couldn't answer but did review my calls with the AI bot. He says I didn't say anything to it about cancelling or not to come which funny enough actually supports that I did not cancel. If I had, I'm sure he still would've charged me (he did for other recent reviewer). He was looking for anything to shift the blame to me (AKA gaslighting). He also tried to discredit me by negatively spinning me regarding the initial call when they missed their appointment. HE LOOKED ME UP. He "noticed that I'm a public professional who relies on online reviews and reputation as well..." Why is he looking me up? Is he trying to find dirt on me or vaguely threatening to retaliate? I don't know. But he has my address, which raises safety concerns. Before you book, you have to ask yourself if this is a person you want to have your address. Crazy how this spiraled, all he had to do was say sorry and give me time to reschedule. He'll respond to this and refuse to take accountability. He'll attempt to gaslight me further like he has other reviewers. **UPDATE: he falsely accused me of xenophobia (he's done to others) and that the transaction ultimately went through (I added another screenshot showing he's lying).** Here's a list of gaslighting techniques for everyone's education. Blame-Shifting: Making their behavior your fault Diverting: Changing the subject to avoid accountability. Countering: Questioning your memory of events to create doubt. Discrediting: Telling others you are unstable or "crazy" to isolate you. Feigned Compassion: Using "kind" words to undermine your judgment Denial: Flatly claiming an event or conversation never happened. Withholding: Refusing to listen or pretending not to understand. Trivializing: Labeling your feelings as "too sensitive" or an "overreaction." Projection: Accusing you of the exact behaviors they are guilty of. read more

I was seeking a new groomer and came across them. I scheduled an appointment for 11am for deshedding. The confirmed the appointment and then immediately changed my time to 5pm without confirming with me. I opted to cancel because that is not what I selected and does not work for my schedule. I also thought it was not good practice to change a appointment time without notifying the client. While they asked about a different time for the day or a different day, I still requested to cancel. They communicated that they would still charge me a cancellation fee, which I questioned. I then decided I was not feeling good about the experience to try again with them so I requested to remove my data from their platform. I've attached screenshots of the interaction which then you can see that their tone then changes told me to not contact them again. They then said that they offered my original time, which they never did. They asked me about what time would work, they never offered to keep my original time. That is two different things. He then sent me a screenshot trying to prove this, it did not. Even if I am cancelling and request my data to be removed, I should have never been met with this treatment. He was extremely unprofessional and in conversation and in operation of scheduling. I do not recommend. read more

Anyone who knows about huskies knows they don't like to get wet, are dramatic about getting brushed, hate having their nails trimmed, and that they have endless fur. In spite of this, Sergio always did a fantastic job with our husky's groom. She always came back from a groom fully de-shedded, with trimmed nails, shaved down paw pads (helpful to prevent slipping on our wood floors), fully dry, and best of all, happy! Sergio is also very kind and easy to communicate with, and accommodated some rescheduling requests on my side with no issues. read more

To the best of my knowledge, this service is owned by a former employee of Angela Dog Grooming, and he employees another former employee of Angela Dog Grooming. These guys work hard because they want the business to succeed. I hope they do. From my experience they do a very good job at price far lower than the competition. Other dog grooming services are hit or miss, in part because they have so much employee turnover. read more

not wanting to take our poodle pup to former groomer (very fine but several hours between drop off and pick up time) I searched for mobile groomer. took a chance with Pet Show Mobile and could not be happier. Giovanni polished up our little guy within an hour, at a very fair price (less than drop-off parlor), pronounced him "very sweet," and delivered a deliciously smelling and beautifully groomed. Now as our guy matures, a more grown-up poodle cut evolves. If Giovanni can do this for a more explicit cut, he can accomplish whatever you wish for your best friend. read more

Sergio is fantastic. Dogs love him! He is very gentle and loving towards my dogs and he knows what he's doing. He always give me exactly what I want for my dogs haircuts plus more! I have used him many times for my 1 year old labradoodle who is very nervous about new, scary sounds and 6 year old golden retriever. I plan to keep using him as our primary groomer. read more
