Pupatella is easily the best pizza spot in the Howard County area. Everything tastes legit and well done! The happy hour deals are great, and the pizza flights are a must if you're going with a group or just want to try a few different pies. Super family friendly too, I'll be back again!

HOW HAVE I NOT TRIED THIS PLACE AFTER 5 YEARS OF LIVING IN THE AREA???!!! Pupatella is hands down the BEST pizza spot in Howard County if you're into Neapolitan-style pizza. The crust is perfectly airy with that slight char, chewiness, and every topping just works. Their happy hour is such a steal!! Amazing deals that make it way too easy to order more than you planned (no regrets though). If you can, definitely try the pizza flights! It's such a fun way to sample different flavors, especially if you can't decide (which is always me). Also, their wine pours are super generous, which I very much appreciate. Great food, great vibe. We'll be back again

Great Happy Hour deal ! We got to try the Pizza flight which is choice of three small pizzas. We got 2 orders of those . Our favorites were the Chorizo & Sausage with Onions. Both delicious and obviously the ingredients were fresh and full of flavor. The rest of our pizzas were good but nothing outstanding. All the pizzas came out looking great but we were a bit disappointed with the crust. It just didn't quite meet our expectations of a classic Neapolitan . Maybe on a regular sized pizza...‍ Seevice was efficient & attentive and everyone was nice & friendly The dining area was comfy and bright and gives off an atmosphere of pleasant and relaxed dining experience. We might go back for the Arancinis and maybe try their Capricciosa pizza ..maybe

They did it again. This pizza is unbelievable. There's just no other place like it with the perfect chew to the dough, light enough that I don't feel gross eating the entire pizza, and toppings that all go together unexpectedly. There's ragu pizza blew my mind tonight. This is not typical Pizza Hut/american style pizza. This is true Italian with the VPN certification. It 100% lives up to the honor of that certification. I also had the mozzarella balls tonight and they were so good my son secretly ordered a second order of them! He chanted the whole dinner that this is the best pizza and we should come here all the time, not just sometimes.

Our second time. The first time dough was mushy. Rather than this is Good. So wanted to give second chance. And we Said about dough and we aşk for more crispy dough. Yes it was definitely better. Appetizers was pretty good. Ice cream was veeery good. I am glad we came back!!!

Abby, was so nice. She helped me change a topping. I didn't want tomatoes and I added red onions and she didn't add an eye about me being a little difficult. I tend to not be an nag when it comes to things like toppings, but I just wanted to get the onions today. The food was fresh and tasty. It came out fast. The atmosphere was nice there was an outdoor seating area with tables and the connected to an open air bar. Kitchen staff was friendly. Speaking Spanish is helpful if you want to converse with them. The rest of the staff spoke English and was pleasant to deal with. I would definitely recommend this location. I will also be trying their other locations in Northern Virginia.

I visited Pupatella because The Baltimore Banner reported it was one of the only restaurants in Maryland with a seal of approval from the Associazione Verace Pizza napoletana (The True Neapolitan Pizza Association). After two orders, I feel torn. My first time, I ordered a plain margherita pizza. The second time (about two weeks later): a margherita with fresh mozzerella, ricotta, and sausage. Both orders were pickup orders; The food was ready promptly with minimal [though polite] interaction from staff. As for the food itself, the cheese tasted like water--No flavor. My first time, although I was underwhelmed by the cheese, the quality of the dough was enough for me to go back again. I doubled the cheese on my second order, and still found it flavorless. Even worse: I found the dough had an extremely sour and unpleasant flavor. Still, the restaurant is well loved, so I am willing to try Pupatella again (perhaps something other than pizza). Regarding decor: the restaurant gets lots of natural light and has the feel of a sit down family restaurant.

Decided to swing by Pupatella for a late lunch with my boyfriend yesterday. They have a nice lunch special that goes on between 11 AM - 3 pm where you can get a side salad and 9 inch pizza for around $12. I ended up getting the sausage and onions (it was average). My boyfriend got the caivano (which I recommend for meat lovers). Service was really good, our waitress was Rachel and she was very sweet and attentive. The restaurant was really empty though. There was maybe one other table in the dining area beside my boyfriend and I so it was a bit awkward. The music also stopped working for some odd reason. Otherwise, it's not a bad place to swing by for some good pizza.

I ordered a pizza on line for pickup. I chose the Buffala Bianca which includes an italian cream sauce, buffalo mozzarella, basil, and prosciutto di Parma. There's plenty of parking and there seemed to be a full house on a Friday night. The Buffala Bianca was not very pretty but very tasty and the prosciutto nice and salty. Definitely a must get!

Fiancé and I are always looking for a good pizza place and this is it!! Starting off the dough is perfection (at least for me). It's soft and chewy, had great burnt parts from the stove oven, and held up to the weight of the toppings. He, being a meat lover, for the caviano. It was yummy! Meat was greasy and flavorful and packed on the pizza. I had the mushroom and added some bacon. The mushrooms themselves weren't the highest quality - it felt just like button mushroom. I feel like it would've been better with porcini mushrooms, but the combination of brie and bacon was perfect. A little bit of funk, creaminess, and salt. I would say skip the arancini, they were a bit underwhelming. The place was pretty quiet when we came on a Saturday at 8pm. I didn't mind it as I like quiet. All the waitresses/waiters seem to be young students and they were all pleasant and getting the job done.

My Wife and I went here because we saw it reviewed on reels. It looked really good. We sat outside since it was a nice evening and that was great. Our waitress seemed like she really didn't want to be at work anymore. Maybe she was tired but just wasn't warm and fuzzy. We ordered the bruschetta which looked great when it came out but lacked flavor. The presentation was nice but the tomatoes had no taste. Definitely needed some seasoning. They tasted fresh but bland. We built our own Nepotalitan pizza with regular sauce, fresh mozzarella, sausage, pepperoni and red onions. We wanted to add Spinach but they only allow 4 toppings (cheese counts as a topping) because the crust is so thin. When the pizza came out it looked great. 4 pretty good sized slices. The beef pepperoni was cooked well, the sausage and mozzarella had a good flavor. I liked the crust my Wife didn't too much but the biggest issue is the middle of the pizza dough didn't cook all the way through and it was still raw. Because we both started eating it from the crust inward (you couldn't really NY pizza slice this thing) we didn't find out until you got to the end. This happened to us both on our second slice. There were some bright spots but overall a lackluster experience for us. We had high hopes that we found another pizza spot, but alas that is not the case Try it for yourself you may like it, just not our cup of tea.

    Veggie panini
    Annie L.

We stopped in for a casual Friday date night--it was popping! Service was perfectly fine but not at that above and beyond level. Given the dinner rush, we had a bit of uneven timing with my veggie panini arriving 20min before my husband's pizza. As craft beer nerds, the beer selection was pretty lackluster. Let's be honest though, you're coming here for the food not the beer. The beverage menu include a solid variety for every diner. The veggie panini was fresh, flavorful and filling. The bread has just the right chew to crunch ratio and isn't so thick so as to overpower the filling. The smoked mozzarella elevates each veggie filled bite, adding complexity without dominating. The BYO pizza got top marks despite arriving with only one of the two requested cheeses. Having only recently opened, there are a few kinks to work out, but overall a great addition to the neighborhood and will definitely be back!

I loved the burrata here but my kids didn't love the pizza. We ordered takeout so next time we would like to try sitting in and seeing if we have a better experience. It is very cute decor inside and the service was fast and easy. There is ample parking and it is kid friendly. We can't wait to come back and try some of the pasta dishes too!

They're colorful, dramatic, a little extra, and totally fit the vibe. If you want a quiet, serious cocktail moment, this isn't that. If you want something playful in your hand while you dominate skee ball, you're in the right spot. Now the food -- this surprised me. The cheesesteak egg rolls are a must. Crispy, cheesy, packed with flavor. Absolutely order them. The buffalo chicken sliders were also a win. Messy in the best way, saucy, juicy, and perfect for grazing between games. We started with a bottle of La Crema Pinot Noir (listed at $68.21), which was smooth and paired really well with everything we ordered. That said, this is where things got a little concerning. The waiter initially charged us $110 for the bottle, and if I hadn't caught it, we would have overpaid by a lot. He did fix it, but honestly that's a pretty big red flag and not something you expect at this price point. The charred octopus ($23.18) was a standout. Tender with a smoky char and pickled onions and a creamy sauce that balanced everything out. For the entree, we got the half rack of lamb ($49.18) and the duck breast ($46.18). Both were cooked as we liked. The lamb was flavorful with crispy potatoes, and the duck had a great sear and richness without being too heavy. Dessert was the mango mousse coconut cake ($12.18), which was light and not overly sweet. However, we were told ahead of time it would be complimentary and that they would write "Happy Anniversary" on it neither of those things happened, and we were charged for it. That was disappointing and felt a bit sloppy. Service overall was on the slower side. The one bright spot was the bartender, Abel, who was great and actually made the experience better by offering us a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate. Also note there is an automatic 20% service charge added to the bill. Overall, the food and ambiance were strong, but the service issues and billing mistakes took away from the experience. It had the potential to be a really great night, but a few key things were mishandled.

My dad had the Fish and Chips w/ Onion rings, no Chips, I had the Irish Stew. Our waitress Mallory was polite and attentive, so kind. She recommended the stew, saying it is delicious, she was right. The flavor of Stout is very aperient, better the the stew at Dubliner in DC. I asked her to tell the Chef, which she did. The fish, was as normal great not greasy or over cooked. The fish was tender, moist, crispy, tasty, and the rings perfect. I do not know the other waitress, or the reason why, people have bad days, 'nuff said. The only thing that was a downer that day is, why would you play anything other than 'British Invasion' music in a British Pub? Review: Food; as always AMAZING( I even tipped the chef for the stew). Service; 10/10, Mallory+++. Ambiance; 8/10, stick with what works.

So this review is going to be short and sweet, but with one VERY important note. Those of you who…read moreread my reviews know I typically review either really good or really "not so good" restaurants. I'm breaking my own rules, because I feel the 3.9 rating is pretty accurate, with one 5 star + exception. This was a business lunch and a convenient location so there we were. The duck fries as an appetizer were good but needed to be seasoned with a little more salt. I had a strawberry salad with some grilled chicken that was good with the greens, but dry as the desert with the chicken and borderline inedible. Here's the twist!!! My two compadres both had the grilled cheese and lobster sandwich. They both looked at me sheepishly and said, you f ed up!!! William was kind enough to break off a substantial bite and let me try it. Angels sang, children wept, and I almost passed out! It was the kind of perfection we all agreed we would have eaten 5, maybe 6 of these unnaturally awesome sandwiches until we passed out! 3.5 Star service, 4 Star ambience, and some 10 Star bites! Cheers, JimG

Unique decor and menu gives Victoria the British gastropub atmosphere. The staff are nice, but service and the kitchen seemed a bit slow on a Sunday early afternoon towards the very end of brunch despite the area we were seated only had a few tables filled. The Crab Cake Eggs Benedict was nothing special - feeling like a flat, single-note dish.. Perhaps it was that the hollandaise sauce lacked the acidity (usually from lemon juice) to brighten the dish. Or, that the nod to Maryland - the Old Bay honey - drizzled around the edges of the dish wasn't enough to elevate it to something that is savored with each bite. The Fluffernutter Blondie is a good dessert choice if you love blondies and peanut butter. Although, it was a bit drier than I'd like, the texture was still soft.
