What a cute spot! My husband was spending way too much time next door and I found this place tucked behind a really cute book store. Service was friendly. My chocolate latte was delicious! The cookies were even more delicious! Don't pass up on the fresh cookies. Especially the tiramisu one. Best find of the day! I'll be back next time we are passing through.

I stop here every time I'm traveling up the 395. Their matcha is the best and I don't say that lightly. The matcha is perfectly frothed and tastes delish. It's not too thin and not too thick. I get mine sweetened and it's not too sweet, it's truly perfectly balanced. I could go on and on, but it's hard to find a good matcha and theirs is the best. Tried the salted chocolate chip cookie this morning and WOW. Delicious. Highly recommend this place as a pit stop on your way on the 395!

A café in a bookstore! A dream! Very yummy breakfast. The coffee was really good and I like that their syrups are made in house! Had an array of cookies too, wish I would have given them a try.

This place is amazing. This is my second time trying this place and today I tried the lavender Matcha. And salmon toast with avocado. the staff are pretty friendly and nice as well. I believe this is my new favorite Place.

Their tuna salad sandwich is a work of art. The tuna salad is fresh and tasty with small portions lots of added ingredients. The lettuce is always fresh and green. The multigrain bread outstanding. They sell halves or wholes. I'm trying to cut back and only eat a half, but it's just impossible. And for dessert: get a well done Belgian waffle.

If you don't want to wait in a long line at Schat's Bakery, stop here. The sandwiches, salads and most importantly iced tea are great!

Friendly service with no-nonsense, but underwhelming dishes. Very low key premises, but nicely located in connection to a lovely bookstore.

The bakery has so many different breads, cookies, pastries and more. The problem with the bakery is that there are no price tags. It was a no brainer to try his restaurant. Menu is fairly wide ranging - burgers to steak to salads and more. Limited options for vegetarians. The food was slightly above average and prices were reasonable. We didn't expect foodie quality eats here. You place an order at the counter and food is brought to you. Service was pretty much non existent. Food Review: Rotisserie Chicken Half ($17.95) is one of their signature dishes and comes with 2 large sides. We choose lime cilantro rice and black beans. The chicken was average, slightly overcooked and included a tortilla and pico pico. 7.5/10 Broccoli Side ($1.95) was huge portion of perfectly healthy broccoli. 9/10 Garden Salad ($10.95) is pretty average but of large size. 7.5/10 Overall - Good Food - Good Decor - Good Service - Good Value - Excellent Would we return? - Maybe

Half of the space functions as a market selling fresh produce, snacks, and essentials. The other half is a fast casual set up where you order at the counter and they bring your food to you. We ordered: -bean and cheese burrito ($11) -2 asada tacos ($3.75 each): topped with onions and cilantro That bean and cheese burrito with the spicy red salsa slapped. I felt like the ratio was a little bean heavy, but I didn't mind because the beans had plenty of flavor. The carne asada tacos were quite good as well. The meat had a nice char and the tacos are generously heaped with carne. I think the most surprising element of Crearee is their outdoor dining space. The restaurant is located off the road parallel to the main drag in Bishop. The patio area has plenty of seating with ambient music playing in the background. Also, the hummus was a thin layer of (picture a thin layer of mustard amount) and not a nice remotely visible or generous layer of hummus! My husband's veggie sandwich was also all spinach, with one thin slice of red onion, and one teaspoon of avocado slice. Pathetic. I wish I was kidding. Our smoothies were full of the frozen fruit, and sparing on the good ingredients (dates, chia, hemp). Basically, they are overloading on the cheaper bulk items, and stingy on the good ingredients.
