Today, our appointment was canceled with roughly 15 minutes notice -- which of course we didn't even receive because we were already driving to the appointment when they called. This comes after our previous appointment where we sat waiting nearly 25 minutes past our scheduled time just to get our dog checked in. What's especially frustrating is that this business is extremely strict about requiring rabies vaccination records for new clients -- which is completely understandable and responsible -- yet somehow they don't actually keep those records on file afterward. So now that we're going elsewhere, they can't even provide us a copy of the records we already submitted. At this point, it just feels incredibly disorganized from a management/ownership standpoint. Two appointments in a row have either been significantly delayed or outright canceled, and there doesn't seem to be much regard for customers' time or convenience. Thankfully, there are plenty of groomers to choose from, so this really isn't the end of the world. It's just an odd way to run a business if the goal is to attract and retain loyal customers.

When we first brought Chewie home, we were very worried because he had a cough and needed medical care. As a new puppy owner, it was stressful and scary because all we wanted was for him to be healthy, comfortable, and okay. I am thankful that Puppy Boutique Las Vegas did not ignore our concerns and helped make sure Chewie received care through the clinic they partnered with. I also want to thank Calvin for being friendly and helpful during the process. Even though the beginning was stressful, I appreciate that they stayed involved and helped with Chewie's health. I also want to give credit to Flamingo Pet Clinic for helping treat Chewie and taking care of him. Because of their care, Chewie is doing much better now, and that has been a huge relief for us. At the end of the day, I am thankful that Chewie is healthier, happier, and doing well now. I appreciate Puppy Boutique Las Vegas, Calvin, and Flamingo Pet Clinic for helping with his recovery and for making sure his health was taken care of.

I have been wanting one and just looking so far. I was just driving down Decatur when I saw a sign, "Pet Planet." The thought immediately crossed my mind, "Jumping spiders." When I entered, I saw so many things that I liked. I asked about spiders and they had them. He showed me a male and female jumping spider. I had a strong feeling that I was going to get one. I asked about enclosures and I was given a tour of the stuff that I had. I picked up a few things and said, "I want the female." Purchasing the spider was such a heart warming experience. I just lost my dog and this was what I needed. As he was bagging my things up, he asked if I had a name in mind. She was a little bit red, so I said her name was Scarlett. I highly recommend Pet Planet. I think that they are knowledgeable and have what you need for your exotic pet.

I'll list the species I can remember: Spotted newts, tarantulas, isopods, axolotls, turtles, sulcata tortoises, asian monitor, electric blue day gecko, amazon tree boa, corn snakes, baby hedgehogs, a very sweet opposum (I've secretly named her Sunshine since she doesn't have a name), ferrets, a tenrec, spectacled amazons. There were a lot more animals than this, but I was so taken with the opposum that I spent most of my time with her and the ferrets. I still highly recommend this store for your more exotic pet needs - lizards, ferrets, hedgehogs, frogs, tarantulas, snakes, etc. I hope this place continued to thrive!!! The staff is uber dog friendly and knowledgeable Michael helped me today and he was certainly at the top of his game while I tried to wrangle my credit card out while dealing with my happy pup. They also have two free pet wash and groom rooms in the back . They used to do nail free clipping but I think they stopped. I don't ask for a military discount, I think I remembered they don't. But you can accumulate points. A plus today was running into one of my yelp friends! That was the icing on the cake and my dog made a new friend too!
