The meats were a bit above average and the refried beans were average. I subbed ref sauce for all three instead of green and cheese sauces. The chips had a tiny bit of refried beans, shredded bag cheese, the asada, a squirt of sour cream, and some avocado that was scooped and barely cut up instead of the menu's guacamole. The steak was very fatty. Icing on the cake is getting home and both of us were sick. We will not be returning there in the future.

I brought some home and literally had to hide my leftovers from my daughters because they kept trying to eat my food. I've also had their beef soup (the short rib soup), and it's one of my favorites. Their pupusas are delicious, the pickled cabbage that comes with them is addictive, and the sweet plantains are amazing. I ordered a mojito too. It wasn't super strong, but it was refreshing and paired really well with the meal. The service was excellent. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and I found out they have free Wi-Fi and a rewards program, which I never knew because I usually order delivery. If you're looking for authentic Honduran food in New Orleans, do yourself a favor and check out Tía Maria's Kitchen. I was hoping I'd find what I love in Miami and it's the Papas Rellenas aka (Fried Stuffed Potatoes). It's a Cuban dish but they are so doggone good. They have this savory and flavorful seasoned ground meat stuffed inside a ball of mashed potatoes and when I tell you they are the bomb, believe me lol. Needlessly to say, they are Honduran and do not cook Cuban dishes lol. However, I'm planning to come back and check out their dishes for either lunch or dinner. It was also very good and went great with all of the empanadas we ordered. They also have bottled sodas which also went with the empanadas very well.
