We ordered The Clown…read moresundaes for the kids, Oreo Brownie Sundae and Small sundaes for the adults, and a Chicken Avocado Sandwich. All of the ice cream was delicious, and most impressive was the sandwich. It's an "order at the counter" type of establishment, but there is plenty of seating and self-serve ice water available for the guests. They also hire folks with barriers to employment, including individuals with disabilities, and partner with the county in a job training program for young persons with disabilities. I love knowing I'm supporting this effort with my patronage. I would highly recommend all of the ice cream and we'll definitely be back for the Chicken Avocado Sandwich!!

I looked around for Waldo, got my stamp, then ordered ice cream. I got the non dairy mint and cookie, it was delicious, 10/10, no notes. I'm not sure if they rotate non dairy flavors or just keep their staple options on the menu. I'll have to go back to find out. The inside is probably the same as it's been for many years. It's got a very old school vibe, I dig it.

I most recently ordered the vanilla oat milk with the non dairy peach and it was delish, think peaches and cream. I also love the non dairy orange flavor with the vanilla oat milk, takes me back to the Orange Julius days. The drive through line is frequently very long, but I've accepted it. It is the yogurt mill way. If you choose to sit in the drive through line, whatever your reasons, car full of kids, a sleeping baby, a disability, you need to catch up on texts or emails, it truly doesn't take that long and it's nice to have the drive through option available. The staff is friendly and helpful. I remember coming to yogurt mill in high school and my friends working, 20 some odd years ago. I love, love, love the nostalgia this place brings me. There is inside and outdoor seating available. It's usually not so busy that you can't find a seat. I've literally never had an issue when I wanted to dine in. There's a water bowl for pets if you happen to have a dog with you. We sometimes cruise the Virginia corridor with the doggies, so it's a thoughtful touch that they have that available for fur friends. The music is present but not overwhelming, can't say that I've ever really even noticed it. Check it out, explore the flavors and toppings or stick to the classics, the world is yours. This place is entirely amazing. I love the feng shui first of all. I always look for a good ambiance. I somehow talked with one of the owners- a young girl actually, who looked almost too young to be a business owner, but I applaud their efforts. I might be a little bias because the owners are both somewhat recent graduates of UC Davis, and being a Sac State Alumni, that was our rival. With their Aggie Pride aside, they are super friendly and really wanted to ensure I was happy with my purchase. They let me sample several different flavors in small sample cups before I decided on a selection and chatted with me all the while. I could tell they were really actually interested in hearing from me not just talking to be polite. It was some of the best customer service I've had in a while. The Shaved Ice was REAL Hawaiian Shaved Ice. It was perfect for the triple digit weather outside. I noticed they have a coffee/espresso bar AND a drive thru. .... A+ in my book. I came back about a week later and decided to utilize the drive thru- but there were 4 cars ahead of me. Trying to save the ozone I decided to get my lazy... legs out of the car and walk inside. The store was PACKED but that seemed to be a sign of a good products, right? The employees worked fast and efficiently and I found my new favorite delight- their version of a Frapuccino. WOW! What a treat. Do not miss this gem of a spot. Without a doubt one of the best in the area when you're looking hide from the Valley heat for a bit. Awesome environment and the staff could not be more genuine and helpful. These guys DO NOT SKIMP on their delicious homemade syrups either. My Tigers Blood ice was soaked and delicious down to the last slurp. My kids and I left totally refreshed and super stoked on the amazing shaved ice we had. I see a lot of Pura Vida in our future. read more

We tried the Strawberry & the cotton candy ice cream. In addition to trying the Elote in a cup which I quite enjoyed. This location was clean, busy, but welcoming. Although it's in a weird area of Modesto, it's worth the drive.
