The workouts are all modified initially, which I didn't care for but I understand why they're modified on the first class. The instructor was friendly and really helped us get an understanding of what Pilates is like. The membership is PRICEY!! However, they do offer discounts to military, students, nurses, and teachers. Unlimited plan for the West Cobb location is $199/month. The other plan is $159/2 days per week or $29 per session if you don't want a membership. There is also an enrollment fee of $59. This can easily add up. Overall, I really liked it. I would join but I'm currently already in another gym membership and can't add another cost right now. I would look into in the future though.

It is extremely difficult to reach anyone at this location. I called multiple times, left voicemails, and sent emails--none of which were returned. It appears that the only reliable way to get a response is by texting the owner, which feels both impractical and unprofessional. Unfortunately, when I did finally receive a response, the interaction was not positive. The communication came across as dismissive and unfriendly, which made the overall experience worse. It is also worth noting that there is another Pure Barre location in the Sharpsburg/Newnan area, just a few miles away, that is new, clean, and very welcoming to newcomers, and offers a much better daily schedule without heavy reliance on waitlists. I would not recommend this location if you value basic communication and customer service.

Everyone's friendly and welcoming, instructors try to remember students name and talk to each person as they come into the classes. Barre3 focus more on cardio and balance, the class will make you sweat and stronger the more you go. I was surprised how it changed my body shape and toned my muscles in 30 days, with 5 classes a week. Sumo squats transform my big flat butt to a firmer and rounder smaller butt. :D If you never try barre before, try out Barre3 and see how it can change your body in 30 days.

Over time, though, the start times have drifted -- sometimes beginning 10-15 minutes late and wrapping up early before the next session. It's frustrating not knowing when the actual instruction time begins or ends. Another issue is the inconsistency with the coaching. The coaches seem to rotate frequently, and there doesn't appear to be a clear, consistent curriculum from week to week. Some coaches focus more on warm-ups and running than on skill development, while others (like Odell and Ronaldo) do an excellent job teaching technique and engaging the kids. Unfortunately, we haven't seen them in a while, and switching days hasn't helped us find them again. We've also noticed that while the club doesn't require cleats or shin guards, several kids wear them, which gives them an advantage during drills and scrimmages. It would be helpful if TOCA clarified equipment expectations so all players can participate on an even playing field. Overall, TOCA Marietta has potential -- especially when led by strong coaches -- but the inconsistency in scheduling, coaching style, and structure has made our experience uneven. With more stability and clearer communication, this could be a great program.

There are views of the river over the bridge and a bunch of different trails one could take. My clients enjoyed the little free library that many of the parks around here have. It's to the left, right off the main parking lot when you drive in. We borrowed a few books and now we can return some one day to this location and others. The layout has something for everyone of all walking ages. They have big and little slides, a trampoline area, a nice jungle gym, again, something for all the kids. We played several different games like wheel of fortune, family feud, and price is right. We had so much fun. After the games we returned into the first room and had food. It's a really big tennis facility so if you're in to racket sports, this is the place for you. I still have my LT membership and that being said the locker rooms need an update. Integrating to a system that allows me to schedule tennis, massages etc as well as scan into the club would make things more convenient. I don't have traditional car keys so having to carry a single tiny card with me can be a bit frustrating. They are contract based - 1 year minimum but there is definitely value if you live or work in the area.

I love this place! If you are looking to tone in a supportive environment this is the place. All of the teachers are amazing. I like that they know everyone's name and are very encouraging throughout the class. There is a class every few weeks for beginners to make sure they are comfortable and understand the exercises. I would highly recommend signing up for the free week and taking the newcomers class. No two classes are ever the same. Even though it never gets easier, each class makes you stronger. It is my "me" time. I have been at this studio since they opened and look forward to going to class. I really like that they have so many class times. There is a time for everyone. If you are looking for a little more cardio, they are adding a new type of class in August. I can't wait to try it. read more

Wow! Words cannot even begin to describe how much I love Pure Barre!!! It's so awesome! The Pure Barre and Pure Empower classes give you a one of a kind workout experience. Each workout is so different and challenging in its own way, making me love it even more. I've been going for a little over a month now and I can't imagine going anywhere else to workout. Also, the instructors try to build a personal relationship with every member of Pure Barre, making everyone feel loved and welcomed. Having a personal relationship with your instructor makes you feel important everytime you step through the doors into the studio and makes the workout more enjoyable. Pure Barre is the best workout I have found with results I see and feel daily! It is a low impact workout that absolutely anyone can do in 55 minutes and is great for building strength. Pure Barre is all about small isometric movements to fatigue the muscle areas to make them shake and then stretch everything out to create the long, lean muscles. It is a full-body workout, with a warm-up, arm-work, thigh work, seat work, ab work, and back work. Pure Barre West Cobb is my favorite location because of the friendly team and environment. I have truly enjoyed my trial membership so much that I just joined and became a gold member! I am excited to go work out every day and I feel even better after I am done! The studio and staff are very warm and inviting. I really love the instructors who make sure they know everyone's name so they can give feedback and pointers so we can all get the most out of the workout! I also like that instructors take classes through the week so you have knowledgeable people to watch if you are not sure of the correct moves. There is definitely a learning curve to Pure Barre, but I feel very encouraged and supported during each workout. This West Cobb location is the best! read more

Although the first classes were hard enough to be frustrating, I took the advice to stick with it until I learned the moves. Within the first 10 classes, I could feel strength building and body reshaping. After that I was addicted. There really is some kind of mind-body connection that I've never experienced doing anything else. Now, after 20 classes, I enjoy it so much that I look for chances to get in another class. Even two in one day! The instructors have been great about modifying the moves to protect my hip, and the classes are full of the nicest and most supportive people. Signed up for a free week and was quickly hooked! The studio is clean and welcoming. This was my first time taking a barre class and the instructors were so helpful. Not only do they model the moves but also point out if there are other instructors in the class to watch. They also move throughout the class providing adjustments and tips to correct positions and challenge each individual. The classes are encouraging and positive, regardless of skill level or ability. After the first week, I signed up for a membership and will definitely be continuing... this is the only "gym" where I will consistently wake up at 5 am to attend a class. read more

The sense of community and level of encouragement, not just from the incredible teachers and owner, are what makes PBWC so special. I love this place! All of the staff are so nice and the place always smells fantastic inside. This is the first workout class I've ever tried. It's very challenging, high intensity, but low impact which is perfect for me. I have a history of back, knee, and hip injuries and the workout does not strain any of my damaged parts. The instructors are very attentive and they pay close attention to each person to help with form. I've always been an "individual work out" type girl. I would be super motivated for about a month, then just stop. I love the cozy vibe of this West Cobb neighborhood studio. The instructors are more "seasoned" than other studios I have visited. They have strong backgrounds in dance and fitness with excellent teaching skills. I love how strong I have become, mentally and physically after just a month of Pure Barre. This is one of those reviews where I wish I could give more stars. My second child is 1.5 years old…read moreand I did not bounce back as well this time around. I tried the treadmill by myself. I tried going for walks with the baby in the stroller. I lost motivation after a week. I had heard of Orangetheory, googled it and signed up for the free class. The girl on the phone was so nice and talked to me as if she already knew me. We set up a time and she asked me to arrive 30 minutes early. I'm really glad she said to do that. My first class was with Kristi. Before the work out Kristi walked me through the gym area and explained all the equipment. This really made me feel more comfortable. No body likes being the "new kid" and she made sure I was welcomed. I sat down briefly with the gal from the front desk. She was able to explain basic terms used by the coach during the workout; again, making me feel more confident and comfortable. The workout itself was AWESOME! I really experienced the cardio I wanted and use of weights. I would have never been able to do these types of workouts without guidance. I really felt like I had a personal trainer. I was sold! Today I just finished my 8th class. I'm on week 3 of my new routine that includes Orangetheory. I am so proud of myself and I don't think I could have got into a healthy routine without Orangetheory. For people looking for results, my clothes are already starting to fit better. As far as strength, my first class I was using 5 lbs weights, second week 8 lbs. Today's class 10 lbs. My goal in the next month is to be able to use 12 lbs weights. For everyone who is as out of shape as I am, don't hesitate. The first class is a little awkward since you are new. But the support you receive from the front desk, the other members and the coach keeps you motivated and focused. Side note, * I love that the reward for referrals goes to your school of choice PTA. * The place is so clean! I mean spotless. Cleaning after use of each piece of equipment is required. Also, I see the staff cleaning the equipment between classes. *The pricing is flexible for what you need. For me I picked a membership that would allow me to come to unlimited classes. My membership also allows me to go to a different location near my moms house. I have not had every coach at this location but everyone I have had has been encouraging and gives each person individual attention when needed. (Which I really appreciate being new to working out. My form needs help in order to workout correctly.) A big shout out to the coaches Kristi, Vicki, Mandi and Katy.

Located on the opposite end of Target this gym is a happening place. I went for the "your first…read moreworkout is free" early on a Saturday in November. (sorry for the late review!) I was thankful there was another woman who was also a newbie too because we were able to help each other out while doing the workout. They walked us through a tutorial of what to watch for and gave us a heart rate monitor (HRM) to sync up with their program. We also met the trainer for the class, Vicky and she was super friendly. As we were done with the walkthrough, lots of sweaty people were walking out of the current class and the studio was full ready for the next class. Since it was their 1 year anniversary party they had a live DJ for the music and we started the class. I jumped on a rower and followed the instructions which included short circuits with weight lifting as well as treadmill work. Vicky, the trainer would check in with me periodically to make sure I was doing okay and honestly even though I was in a full class of over 20 people I felt like I was working one-on-one with a trainer. Before I knew it the hour had went by and I was emailed my HRM stats, how many calories burned and etc. - the key is to stay in the "orange zone" for 12-20 minutes. I've done all kinds of workouts, kickboxing, boxing, HIIT, P90x, Insanity, etc. Needless to say, this definitely kicked my butt, I burned a bazillion calories and I will definitely hit this workout up again.

She masterfully and effortlessly command the sequence of moves and transition into the next move/positions; and offered assistance for adjustments to help with proper form which is critical for newbies like me. The Classic class offer and a nice balance between strength and conditioning... and a residual post feeling of emotional and physical toxic relief... I am current trying a 5 session promo to see if "the juice is worth the squeeze" so far it is looking very much like it is!

There are no instructors - you follow a video on a tv, and you work out in a personal cube that fits up to 3 people. I came through one day not even realizing this location was here. I quite like it…read more I've been a member of Planet Fitness for about 6 years now and most of the locations are about the same. But this one has a very big floor plan and the cardio area is totally separate from the weight room, which is nice. The cardio area is huge so it's good for walking laps and things like farmer carries. (As a note... Occasionally you have problems with staff at any PF location, but then I will just avoid that location and wait for them to no longer work there. This may not work for everyone and I get that. But me being able to do so impacts my review and why I give it 5 stars when someone else may give it 1... so far here, so good for me. But I haven't had to change my membership or anything like that, either. There's just not enough nice gym chains here in Atlanta and it seems like regardless of which one you go to (PF, Onelife, Golds, LA Fitness) you're going to have these same issues eventually. I find the ones I have at PF to be less problematic than the ones I've had at other franchises. Different people may feel differently depending on their needs.)
