Amazing interior, gorgeous vibes, really nice people, and amazing cakes!! Only reason for 4/5 is there are only 2 "on-demand" options for people who have gluten, dairy, and nut allergies combined (...I know it's a lot, and pretty niche, but more than one cake and muffin option would be kinda nice). However, they do offer many options for vegan or gluten free and can do more than half of the things on the menu v/gf upon request. I finally made it! I stopped in with my gentleman friend for a slice of cake. There are quite a few options for baked goods including peanut butter bars, cake, cheesecake, etc. Beverages are also available. ~$6.50 buys a large pieced cake suitable for 2. I have chocolate salted caramel. Wonderfully rich. I'm craving it right now just thinking about it. The seating area is very limited. Construction/remodeling should make a nice difference. Adorable place with adorable treats, and also has a bar! The cake flavors range from simple, traditional, and classic to inventive and interesting. We had a snickerdoodle, a slice of white chocolate mocha cake, and a peanut butter concoction. The mocha cake had coconut in it, which was odd, but the peanut butter one was quite good. The prices are a liiiittle high for what you're getting, though the peanut butter one was totally worth the $3.75. It's got a few beers on tap, and also serves wine, so it's a perfect date spot, or a place to grab a quick sweet treat. It's got a nice ambiance and a cozy atmosphere, and lends itself to chatting the day away. read more

Got the honey lavender, pistachio, and vegan carrot cake with buttercream frosting! I got the last slice of carrots cake thank goodness because it was so delicious and definitely my favorite! The pistachio had little pieces of pistachio and you can tell it's not fake flavoring which I also really liked and third place but still amazing and with a great presentation came the honey lavender! This place is trendy with friendly staff and fresh yummy goodies! If you ever head to bham you have to stop in because it is actually pure bliss!! read more

I. Love. Cake. But most of all, I love Pure Bliss' cakes. All of them. The cookies, the bars, the pastries... just perfection!

Came back in with some friends and was delighted yet again. Mars really went above and beyond to provide an exceptional service experience. Every inch of this place is super clean and well managed. Tried the strawberry cake and crème brûlée, both of which were above par. Other notable items are; coconut macarons, caramel butter bar, brownie, and caramel chocolate cake. I come here so often! This is a super cute little shop with some amazing cakes and baked goods. The staff is super friendly and do a great job of describing the different foods they sell. It's always hard to make a decision so that helps (a little). Slicing cake flavors rotate here weekly-save for their vegan carrot cake-so you never know what you'll get when you walk in. Some of the flavors they offer are pretty great (Pink Champagne, Berries and Cream, Earl Grey...) and I'll order some of these again in a heartbeat when they come back. Outside of their cake case, they also have other baked goods that are super delicious but the price is a bit steep for the size and quality of the baked goods. Calling all sweet tooths! Wait, can "tooth" be pluralized? Anyway, Pure Bliss is great place to satisfy the sweetest of teeths! Can "teeth" get pluralized, too? Pure Bliss got a great selection of desserts, ranging from cookies to cakes. I have tried most of the desserts but I have a few personal favorites. One of them being the carrot cake. The cake is so moist and fluffy as if it was made of carrot flavored clouds. It is layered and with a cream cheese frosting that is amazing with the cake. Another favorite of mine are the cheese cakes. Original, strawberry swirl, pumpkin, all of them. I think of cheese cakes as rich. Pure Bliss' cheese cake is rich without the feeling of guilt and being stuffed. Great place to go after a date or just the usual Friday dinner. I've both eaten here and ordered a cake for a friend's birthday. Their desserts are delicious, but some seem too simple to justify their prices. Some flavors are imaginative and complex, while others are classic and simple. However, they are all priced as though they are extra fancy, even if you are ordering something basic. Pure Bliss switches up what desserts they are offer often. You can go back and try something new each time. They have fun seasonal flavors. I appreciate being able to stop here for a late night dessert. The interior is cute and inviting, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Brown butter apple tart was absolutely delicious. Despite being a little pricey, I look forward to trying more items in the future.

We had a bit of a snafu last year with our cake, but they apologized and gave us a refund which was very nice. I came in recently and was sooo excited to see the remodel. I love that they use high quality ingredients and now with a larger store, it is a great place to relax and catch up with friends. Everything on display looked aaaamazing. I love that this place was open until ten, as we were staying at Semiahmoo. (Sp) we loved everything we got! I bought four little fermented teas from under the counter too! The Seattle and the watermelon were so good! I got the lemon bar thing with delicious shortbread crust and a wonderful lemon Creme on top! I got the vegan carrot cake, and the zucchini lime loaf, a Russian tea cookie and the caramel bar. I also got the strawberry cheesecake swirl. It was just all really good! I took a star off for being over priced. It was a little overwhelming ordering because people were taking things out of the case left and right. When we are in town next time! This is on our list. Just for the lemon bar thing alone! They also had a coffee/latte drink side but it was 9:45 on a Saturday and it was busy until close. Cute atmosphere, very trendy. The "vegan carrot cake" is not disappointing insofar as flavor, but it's not vegan. I called to ask what kind of sugar they use and was informed they use C&H. I thanked the person who took time to find this out and let her know that they are feeding bone char to vegans. I have not tasted their other desserts and can guess they're all pleasing to the palate, but vegans who care about ingredient integrity should avoid Pure Bliss. read more

Pure Bliss is simply amazing. I've been coming here for quite a while, but recently had a great experience ordering a custom birthday cake for my boyfriend and wanted to share my years of positive experiences with this shop! The staff and the service they provide is always amazing. They are very knowledgeable about all of the desserts in the case and have been very helpful anytime I had a special order, typically for birthdays. The process for getting a custom cake was very simple and I found them very easy to work with and worth what we paid. Their Belgian Chocolate Torte is some of the best dessert I've ever had, along with their Peanut Butter Wedge and New York Cheesecake. Ever since their incredible remodel, we've never had an issue finding a place to sit - it's a great place to hang out. We love that they're open late because it's the perfect place to grab a sweet treat and hang out! If you haven't been to Pure Bliss yet, you've got to check it out. Whenever I have friends or family visiting me in Bellingham, I make a point to take them here and they've all loved it and noted it as a highlight of their visit.
