This review is so incredibly overdue - where do I even BEGIN?! I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes thinking not only about how perfect our day was but how truly incredible the women of Pure Lavish are. Moral of this story: do NOT sleep on Pure Lavish. Sign with them immediately - your research ends here. Buckle up for our story... Looking for guidance while wedding planning is SO stressful - it's hard to know where to start, especially planning a destination wedding (we live in Northern CA). We had our venue and our photographer but nothing else, so, being the researcher I am, I hopped on Google and began searching for "best planners in Orange County." I found a few options, Pure Lavish included, and started submitting inquiries. I wasn't sure about what kind of support we needed. I think when you start planning, you're like "I can do everything myself and only need minimal support." I was SO wrong - more to come on that. Pure Lavish stood out immediately. Carrie, the owner of PL, was the one to respond to my inquiry with a customized, non-robotic, hilarious email that acknowledged my silly inquiry about not knowing what I needed. That interaction was a huge selling point for me. She quickly set me up with one of PL's planners, Samantha. To say that I clicked with Sam would be the understatement of the century. Her bubbly energy and openness made me feel like I was talking to an old friend. She was so knowledgeable and so helpful in answering my questions about what kind of support we needed. In my original budget, I didn't plan on including a wedding planner, but I quickly realized just how important it was to have an expert as our guide along the way, as well as a creative lens to help with design. We signed with PL almost immediately after and didn't think twice. Over the next few months, it became clear just how well-connected PL is in Orange County. I had a pretty clear vision with a pre-defined budget that Sam knew exactly how to support. She identified all of the right vendors for what we were looking for and what our desired spend was for each part of the wedding. I ended up not doing anything myself and outsourcing everything because we loved all of the vendors so much. The network that PL brings to the relationship is probably one of the biggest considerations you should make as a bride. My mom and I made a few trips down to Southern CA to do live planning, select rentals, tastings, etc - it was SO awesome to see Sam in her element and to experience vendor relationships live. PL has such a stellar reputation in Orange County - that was abundantly clear every time we met someone new that we were working with. No trip to OC will ever be complete without seeing Sam! The time, energy, and excitement that Sam contributed to our wedding were truly incomparable. Her design board and ideas based on my feedback were absolutely perfect. We incorporated 100% of her ideas into our day and made our guests feel so special with all of the personalized recommendations that she made. The attention to detail, the command of the wedding party to keep things in line, and the ridiculous organization skills that she possesses are what defined the overall success of the weekend. On wedding day, the PL team showed up in FULL FORCE. We were so honored to have Carrie there to support us, and our bridal concierge Caroline was the definition of "being in the right place at the right time." A MIND READER! The worst part of the day was my shoe heel breaking (not bad, right?) and Caroline somehow crafted a clay pearl to match the ones on the broken heel. Absolutely brilliant. I honestly can't even put into words how grateful I am for our wedding planner Samantha and the entire Pure Lavish team. After booking our dream wedding venue at the Monarch Beach Resort, I knew Pure Lavish Events would be the perfect planning company to turn our vision into a reality. It's been 5 months since my daughter's wedding and I had to write a review about the amazing, flawless job that Caroline and her team did for us. There are so many things to remark on I hope I don't forget anything. From initial meet we knew we had found the right planner. Caroline is sweet, caring, attentive and extremely knowledgable. She listened to our needs and wants and made suggestions that enhanced our thoughts and desires. She knew our budget and kept us apprised ALL ALONG THE WAY when we were getting close. Her relationship with all the vendors we used is long standing and one of great respect. She gave us her best team of vendors and worked with them closely to fulfill our vision. You didn't feel like you were in a tent, at all. The flowers, the flowers, the FLOWERS!!! We had so many beautiful flowers in these tents along with many, many candles. I've never been to or seen a more beautiful reception space. And I've been to a lot of nice weddings in my lifetime. Caroline took our vision to a whole new level of beauty. Not only were the ceremony and reception spaces stunning, the day of the wedding could not have gone smoother. Not one issue. Not one! It was the most relaxed, meaningful and beautiful day. Just had our wedding a little over a week ago (no photo yet!). I have to say that they're not lying when they say hiring a wedding planner is the best decision you can make! We worked with Lauren. Where do I begin? Pure Lavish was like family by the end of the wedding planning process. I can honestly say this wedding would NOT have happened if it wasn't for Pure Lavish. Pure Lavish was there from day one and I always felt like a priority no matter how far away the wedding was (or how close). They were so open to our ideas (we wanted to do a Chinese Tea Ceremony and include our French Bulldog in the ceremony). Pure Lavish was there every step of the way. They made sure I stayed on track despite my heavy work schedule. They had excellent recommendations and really narrowed the vendor search list to my budget and style. The wedding day itself was a dream. I cannot stop smiling and thinking about this wedding. It was flawless and my husband and I didn't need to lift a finger, which is an amazing feat. My goodness! Where to begin... So Pure Lavish was the second wedding coordination team my fiance (at the time) and I met with. The first one wanted to charge us almost double what Pure Lavish charged us. I already had my venue, photographer, DJ, and florist. They took that into consideration when giving us a price for their coordination services. Each package is customized to the individual which I love! I met Carrie over a year before my wedding and I fell in love with her! At the end of our conversation she said, "Sadly I'm not available on your day, but McKenna is the Executive Event Coordinator and she can be your coordinator if you choose to move forward with us". I was a little skeptical at first because I thought Carrie would do the best job since she was the owner. So a few days later we met McKenna and we hit it off with her immediately! I walked away and texted Carrie that we would love to work with McKenna and Pure Lavish. Before the wedding I worked with Carrie, McKenna, and Kevin (the designer) to help get all my ducks in line. McKenna met me at my venue a few months before the wedding to see in person what my venue looked like. The day of we had McKenna and 3 interns helping us. They were absolutely amazing! My wedding was even more amazing than I could have ever imagined! Everything was sooooo perfect and if anything went wrong I had no idea it happened. My fiance (at the time) wasn't sure if we really needed one since we already had a lot picked out. Afterwards, he realized how much Mckenna and team assisted the day of. We didn't have to worry about anything except to enjoy one of the happiest days of our lives. After my wedding I was emailing my DJ and he told me that McKenna was awesome and he has never seen a wedding coordinator work so hard at the reception. He said most of the coordinators he sees will sit down and not do anything when the reception starts. I most definitely will recommend Pure Lavish to anyone I come in contact with. read more

If I had one advice for all future brides, it would be to hire a planner, more specifically Pure Lavish Events, and I would highly recommend Lauren!! She was our planner/designer and I honestly can't even imagine wedding planning without her. From our first meeting to the end, she made wedding planning so fun and as stress-free as can be. I would have random freak outs and Lauren always knew the answers to ease my pain. Thinking back and seeing how many weddings she works on, I'm amazed at how fast she responded to my emails and texts, at all hours of the day. I never had time to even worry because she got back to me quickly with a solution. I love the fact that she always stayed so professional, but also became a friend along the way. That's how you know she's not just doing a "job", she really puts her heart into it! I can't tell you how important it is for a bride. She always checked up on us to make sure we're on track with planning and always gave great recs whenever we needed. I definitely would have been lost without her! Even with planning our wedding day timeline, we had so much to fit in, but Lauren made it all work into our schedule without us feeling too overwhelmed. Fast forward to the wedding day, it couldn't have been more perfect. First of all, Pure Lavish provides you with a day of bridal concierge!! Our was Gia and from the minute she got to our hotel room, she jumped into action, helped set up detail shots, poured champagne, made sure my hair was on point - all the little details you wouldn't think you'd need help with!! Gia kept us on track with our timeline throughout the day, during all the photo sessions, Gia even held my bouquet to give me a break (who knew bouquets can feel like 50 lbs). I also had a makeup mishap right before the ceremony and she saved my life. I will forever be thankful for that, Gia!! Lauren and the rest of the PL team worked behind the scenes and when I first saw our ceremony setup and ballroom, I cried my eyes out. It was so beautiful and beyond my imagination!! You don't realize how much goes into a wedding and because of Lauren and her team, we had the wedding of our dreams. Our wedding became my own Pinterest goals!! Even my mom praised how amazing Lauren was- seeing her in action during our rehearsal and throughout the wedding day. Her attention to detail is spectacular, she really is great at what she does! My husband and I trusted her completely and we miss planning our wedding with her. If I could redo my wedding, I'd choose Lauren over and over again. Like most girls on a budget, I intended on planning my own wedding but after running around in circles for months getting nowhere I remembered I had contact in event planning and decided to contact Carrie for direction. I had worked with Carrie for years and always remembered what an amazing job she did for all my work events. I could say a million thanks to the PL team but it wouldn't be enough to show them how appreciative I am to have them be a part of my entire wedding planning process. I don't know how to put into words how great they really are, so I'll just share my story. After I got engaged, we started planning our engagement party. If that wasn't enough, my job relocated me and I had jaw surgery lined up. Before I knew it, we had been engaged for a year and there were no plans for the wedding. I knew it was time to call in the troops. I spent days researching wedding planners. I had an unlimited budget for a wedding planner (as I think it is a bridal necessity). I reached out to all sorts of wedding planners and held MANY interviews. When I met with Carrie and Kevin, we hit it off immediately. Not only did they understand my vision, but most importantly, they understood that I wanted to be a guest at my own wedding. I explained that I wanted to have the most fun at my wedding since I was the one paying for it! The wedding planning process went really smooth. I was sooooo happy to have the PL team at my vendor meetings and tastings. My family and friends are located in the Bay Area. They couldn't make it out to the OC for all of the meetings. PL was a great substitute. Our meetings were filled with tons of laughter. The meetings were so much fun for me that I would forget that they were there to do work. Nonetheless, they would ask all the right questions and handle all of the contact information. One thing about me, I'm an impulse shopper. If I like it, I buy it. The wedding was no exception to that rule. I would browse the internet and find wedding vendors I liked. I would book it and then let Carrie know. Lucky for me, Carrie was extremely accommodating to my impulse buys. She would get a hold of the vendors, review our contracts and take over from there. Another quirk of mine, I'm extremely last minute. I hadn't given the wedding too much attention until my last day of work, which happened to be two days before the wedding. As soon as I got home that night, I realized all of things that I had forgotten to discuss with Carrie and started to have a mini panic attack. I sent her a ton of e-mails with things that I had forgotten and items I wanted to review. Carrie addressed each and every single e-mail within minutes. Wedding day was perfection! I woke up, got some Starbucks, hung out with the bridal party and had my hair/makeup done. That was it! I did literally nothing else. When I arrived at the venue, the entire PL team was running around the venue working on last minute details. They looked like a bunch of busy bees, but they each found the time to stop by, say hello and tell me how beautiful I looked! I got into my wedding dress and before I knew it, the PL team had us lined up and out the door for the ceremony. When I got out to the reception area, every single vendor was exactly where they needed to be and every piece of decoration was placed exactly where I had envisioned it to be. The only thing I did on my wedding day was laugh, take pictures, drink and dance. Nobody, not even myself, would have realized that PL had us on a very detailed and timely schedule. Everything flowed so smoothly. The PL team put me exactly where I needed to be, when I needed to be there. I had no sense of time or schedule. Lucky for me, they had it covered. We did everything I wanted to do during the wedding. The next morning was even better. Naturally, I had a bit much to drink and I couldn't remember where I left my jewelry, shoes, etc. Luckily for me, the PL team had boxed up everything important (even all of the decorations). And to top it all off, the wedding venue was spotless. I actually didn't have to do anything. My hubby just had to load me into the car :p. Icing on the cake, Carrie had mailed out our marriage certificate. Who thinks of that?!? Now that the wedding planning process is over, I miss them all! She made the process of choosing a coordinator easy and the wedding planning process smooth and stress free! She's just so approachable, organized, communicative, and passionate about her work. I don't know what we would've done without her! We contracted Pure Lavish in March, 6 months prior to our wedding date, and immediately Sam began emailing me her preferred vendors, inspirations, and contacts to guide me to the vision we were looking for. We absolutely loved all the Vendors recommended by Pure Lavish and Sam was behind the scenes, tying up all the loose ends without us having to get involved. This made planning so easy knowing Sam had it all under control. On the day of the Wedding, the Pure Lavish Team did a lot of behind the scenes work to ensure our wedding went smoothly. My bridal concierge, Caroline Smith, was an amazing support and helped ease my stress all day long. She also captured a ton of incredible moments for me on her iphone that I got to relive on her Instagram story. Sam was so helpful in getting everything organized and went above and beyond making sure the vendors and bridal party knew where to be and when. With her help, we were really able to focus on our day with family and friends and not the timeline of events. My husband and I didn't have to worry about set up or breakdown or which items belonged to us or vendors and PL even packed up tokens of our wedding for us to take home. I chose the day-of wedding coordinating option because I wanted to stay within budget and do most of the planning myself. I chose Carrie because she was on top of thing and was very easy to reach and helpful in making suggestions for my vendor list. I didn't end up using her recommendations but really appreciate her going above and beyond to provide advice and assistance. The only thing I would have liked in hindsight was better communication in advance with my vendors and a walk-through since there were a few aesthetic things that in I wish I had the chance to make changes to. We also would have liked more help at the end of the event and wish the team had stayed as it got a bit hectic. My guests had to stay behind to help us tidy up and load the belongings into our cars at the end. Overall, I appreciate Carrie and her team for helping make the day flow nicely.
