The Botox here is fine but their operations leave a lot to be desired -- Their coupon system is pretty bad. I try to open a coupon on my phone, on the website, on a computer and it just leads me to make an appointment. I made an appointment for Sunday (today) because nowhere did it say they were closed, even their website. It says open literally everywhere. Also the appointment site let me make an appointment. I showed up and while someone was there, she opened the door to let me know they were closed today. So I guess you always need to call if you're going to make an appointment. One more thing re appointments - whether they're open or not there's no confirmation text or email. I think they need to invest in an actual business operations technology system. read more

This place is ridiculous. A laser technician, Lauren, burned a part of my tattoo in June, while I was incredibly understanding in the beginning as mistakes happen, we are all human, and I assumed they would take care of the situation properly, I was met with the exact opposite. When I first let her know that my tattoo got lasered (it's a immediate burn to the skin), she denied it and told me that my skin was just red because I was laying on my side - like what? I know I got burned, my tattoo was swollen. I called 4-5 times on different days to get in touch with a manager after and was told by the front desk every time that I would get in contact with the manager later in the day - it never happened. Once I finally got in contact with the manager, she never *once* said she was sorry about the situation or that she was going to take care of me, she just questioned the situation and told me I'll have to speak with the technician directly, her attitude was insane. After a couple months, my tattoo was healed and a part of it is was missing as a result. During those months, she was completely dodging me. After constantly having to re-explain myself for months to the front desk ladies that were never knew what was going on and never knew what to do because they were not allowed to transfer me to the doctor or management. The manager happened to be working the front desk one day, his attitude is also insane and he incredibly snappy (other reviews support this). I asked if I can speak with him about the situation and he said he wouldn't do anything until he speaks with Lauren. He scheduled me to speak with her in person and refused to do it over the phone. I come in and Lauren acts like she was never the one who lasered my tattoo. How does this even happen? I was told so many times that management had spoken to her so many times, they are liars! She was too. Why hadnt I been able to formally speak to a manager about this yet? It had been MONTHS of me trying to solutionize this and move on. I had yet to receive a solution or the bare minimum - an apology. I settled with a promise by Lauren to reimburse my tattoo touch up and a free laser session. This was completely fine with me! I wanted to move on with a plan, that is all. The bar was so low. Here's the kicker: I come in for my laser session, my usual laser technician, not Lauren, is apologizing to me for burning me. I am so confused and find out that Lauren blamed my technician for burning me! I had shown so much proof that it was Lauren, I was told that Lauren had been spoken with so many times, and even spoke to Lauren herself! How does this even happen? This threw everything off and I had to sit in the waiting room for 45 min and left without my session being done because the office was such a mess. I come in for my rescheduled apt 2 weeks later and the technician was an entire hour late (I wish I was exaggerating). When I would ask the front desk how much longer it would take all they could say was "sorry, soon". I had to leave without my session done, for the second time. This had been the third time I came in person in hopes of moving on, I drive far out to this office. They have wasted HOURS AND HOURS of my time. I was told, again, that management would be reaching out with a solution. I was reached out to the technician for a follow up and she never replied. I reached out to Lauren twice, she never replied. I called the office, William answered the phone, to solutionize the next steps, yet again, I was met with incredible attitude and told to just email the general company email and that the manage/doctor was unavailable/in a meeting (again). ***After a year of chasing this office for a solution to the many many problems that they caused me, I have yet to receive my tattoo touch up reimbursement and laser session as promised or even a simple, formal apology or formal conversation with any management.*** They have caused me hours of wasted time. I have never, in my entire life, written a review until now. They have a complete lack of accountability, responsibility, and kindness/loyalty to their clients. really nice experience here! the staff was really sweet and jezmine did a great job!!

1st Issue: The employee Gaby texted me to feel free to come in an hour earlier than my appointment. I did not come in earlier and when I arrived she reminded she was trying to get ahold of me so I could come in earlier. This made me feel uncomfortable, as she was giving me a hard time for not being on her time. 2nd: When she brought in the product (Juvederm) which was not in a box so can't even confirm I was given the correct product, she also brought along a few syringes. I saw that she was filling the syringes with the product....I have never seen a medical professional do this with filler ever. I had filler done at this location with Dr. Kowalski and she handled everything perfectly. 3rd I explained that I only wanted, no more than half of the filler in my lips, and the rest to be filled around the nasal lines. She filled my lips then asked if I wanted more on the lower lip, I said yes because it looked disproportionate otherwise. Then she said she was done, she claimed to have used the entire syringe on my lips.... I assumed she would use the filler I saw her fill the syringes with?! She didn't respect what I asked and was dishonest. She should not be working in this industry she was extremely deceptive. read more

Perhaps I am a unlucky one when getting filler for the first time here. Not sure what exactly happened but I was left with a very visible bump on my bottom lip. Went back to the spa twice to have them fix it with enzyme, but after both times, the bump was still there. I got the filler in June 2020, after going back twice without a fix, I was just gonna wait for it to go away itself, almost a year later it is still very visible. I read more

Been coming here for awhile. Decided to get my Botox in December and online there's a special for UNLIMITED units for 7.99. What a great deal especially with it being the holidays... yeah, right! I get my session in today and staff stated that the website is "misleading" it's actually for first 20 units only. Misleading? That's not misleading it's a LIE!! Website clearly states UNLIMITED! They stated the owner does not honor what they have posted on their site! I will not come back due to their deceitfulness towards clients. Pure Medical Spa made a big mistake with my laser treatment. They admitted fault and offered a refund with no additional compensation for time wasted and damaging results. Then Pure Medical Spa neglected to issue the refund and told me to go to Court. I got an expensive laser package through Groupon. Additionally took a lot of time off work to come here for lengthy sessions with hardly any results. On top of that my technician made a big mistake. She acknowledged the mistake and apologized for it and did the right thing by promising me a refund. She told me the refund would be issued in 7-10 days and she would follow up. After nothing happened, she told me to call the desk. I talked to the front desk 3 times, and each time they assured me that the owner would call me and take care of it. The 4th conversation I had with Pure Medical Spa, at 2:40 p.m. on December 15th, the woman at the Skokie location told me "So you have it in writing. So good for you. You can go to Court then and show them." She told me that I would never see my refund until the right people see it, whatever that means. read more

This place (especially Chicago location) is extremely unprofessional and unorganized. I have been going to Pure Med spa for over a year (bought a package that required more than one visit). Every time I call to schedule an appointment, they are unorganized and I find myself repeating myself over and over again. When arriving at the spa, the staff is not very friendly or attentive. I have made appointments and received confirmation emails only to have them say I never made an appointment upon arriving. This has happened to my friends as well. I have referred several friends here and all have either not seen desired results and/or said that the staff is rude and uninviting. I have also bought several sessions that miraculously disappeared in the system after already paying. I did not receive a refund. read more

Don't buy their groupons,dont buy from any filler or botox. They lie about the units and they use some cheap Chinese fillers, which will last one month only.This is what happened to me and my friend who purchased "juvederm" it disappeared for less than one month.I am.not really sure they used 1ml of filler everything was done behind my back where I could not see what they are doing. Botox did not last either. The other place I go to uses the real juvederm, which lasted 9months. BE AWARE! They will tell you lower price over the phone and when you go to appointment they will say that the price has changed balah balance and you will end up.paying twice more. read more

Thank god i didn't spend any money here. I went for a free consultation and the girl on the phone told me I was getting "one of the favorite" aestheticians. I had high hopes but the girl who took me.. i don't know because she never said her name.. was weird. She failed to make eye contact and when i told her my concerns she didn't even ask to see the area i wanted treated and the left the room frequently to ask what i should have done... aren't you supposed to be the expert? Well when she returned she recommended some treatment which was very much obviously the most expensive treatment they offer and had NOTHING to do with my concerns. Do not go here. I'll start by saying, Lauren, the laser technician here was great, one of my best laser experience outcomes and I've been doing laser treatments on my body for half my life.... I even recommend Sandra, but I believe she is mainly at the Skokie location now. Shai on the other hand has an attitude and did a poor laser treatment, a waste of a session and when I asked her to pay attention to a certain area, asking if she got a certain section, she responded that she had been doing this for a long time and knows what she's doing. I felt bad because I wasn't trying to tell someone how to do their job, but the response and tone was not necessary. Needless to say, that was the area that grew hair quickly. I had Lauren after her and she was so sweet, understanding and thorough. When I say, I barely had any growth in that area or really any area in 6 weeks, I was amazed. I requested to see her and she made me an appointment to see her last week, but I had to cancel and asked to reschedule with the same person I was scheduled with. They said 'no problem' and they told me to come in today. I shaved/prepped, got to my appointment and paid for parking only to be schedule with Shai and when I asked about Lauren, she was like, we can reschedule or I can just do it. Well, I'm not wasting a session on a poor job, so I opted to reschedule and now apparently I have to wait a whole month to see Lauren. Not sure how scheduling can mess up that I requested to see my tech that I had at my last visit and paired me with Shai again, but I'm disappointed. read more
